Terra at Eataly Boston
Located on the third floor of Eataly Boston, Terra is a unique restaurant inspired by earth and fire. The dining room centers around a wood-burning Italian grill, where Executive Chef Dan Bazzinotti cooks raw ingredients over burning flames, allowing the simple flavors to shine.
In every earthy dish, the fire’s smoked warmth rekindles our fundamental connection to the elements. Plentiful and playful, the grilled plates are perfect to share around the restaurant"s rustic tables, especially when paired with seasonal drinks.
Terra’s ever-changing beverage menu includes herb-infused cocktails, rare wine terroirs, and barrel-aged beers.

Great spot. Good vibes and excellent simple Italian dishes. All well executed. Perfect for a sunny lunch with the skylights.
Disappointed in the food. Steak was not tender and lamb chops were mostly fat. Service was good. Not worth the price.
The pasta dishes were a bit oily for my preference. Expected a lot better quality TBH.
Portions were very small for the small plates but delicious. We spent $55 per person for lunch and still felt hungry. Anyway it was a nice experience but wouldn’t hurry back.
Excellent all around!
Overpriced & Food was Good not Great
The scenery inside of the restaurant was incredible. Waiter was extremely nice and friendly. Food was great.
The food is expensive and so is the drink but the quality was there for sure. It was a huge disappointment to wait 35 minutes past my reservation time. In normal times, late afternoon reservations (330pm) are booked to be able to make it to your evening plans. I didn't have anywhere to go after, but it was just uncomfortable to wait in Eataly for the first 10 minutes (original quote from the hostess) and again wait another 20 min lingering behind the host stand. I understand tables linger in a place that is basically serving alot of tapas options, but the host and manager did absolutely nothing for us, no concession no apology for the 30 min wait. We were offered bar seating but we were 2 short ladies, wanting to nosh and chat- not dangle our short girl legs with our barstools turned towards one another. the food and service was outstanding. we loved the prosciutto app, the warm lettuce salad, the burrata and the short rib special. Will be back, will make earlier reservations to avoid the wait.
When you go (and you should) sit in front of the wood fired grill at the Chef's Bar so you can watch the action. Smooth operation, wonderfully fresh and aromatic meats, cheeses and seafood. Blood sausages crumble in the mouth like cake and taste fantastic. Great service--ask for Maggie; she effortlessly serves as well as shares with you her faves and ends the night like you made a brand new friend. Go. Eat. Here.
The staff are so accommodating and provide incredible help in navigating the menu...And the food is phenomenal!!! It is always constantly awesome!!!
Delicious meal and great service! Would definitely return
Despite subpar reviews, we decided to try this restaurant. The menu was hard to navigate and when we asked questions, we were treated like we were dumb by the waiter. We were told we wouldn’t like certain items, without the waiter even knowing our preferences. My cocktail did not taste as if there was any alcohol in it, making us decide to not spend another $15 on another drink. The meals were overpriced to be treated like a nuisance when we didn’t see anyone else dining at the restaurant at that time. Staff sat around and gossiped the whole time. Not what we expected whatsoever, will not be recommending.
Great place for drinks and apps, however whoever came up with the pricing for the food was clearly a bit overzealous because the price doesn't match the quality. Again its a great place drinks and apps but anything more I wouldn't recommend.
Great outdoors experience with the indoor feel.
The men's bathroom needed some cleaning, otherwise a nice night out
Excellent pasta dish, and very good tuna skewers. But 5 different meats.. none with much flavor at all. Beef ribs (one burned), lamb skewer, beef heart, all meh. And a house-made sausage was about as good as a store bought turkey kielbasa.
Very small wine pours, and all very expensive.
Stick the market downstairs.
Had an early dinner and the restaurant was nearly empty. The roof was glass, giving a greenhouse effect. Food was superb, would definitely come again. Had a small cheese plate, octopus entree and a pasta dish along with cocktails.
We had a group of 13 split among 3 tables per Covid. Food and service was excellent!
I love visiting Terra when in Boston. Will be back!
The food was great; service was really disjointed. We were behind a barrier and couldn’t see anyone if we needed something. They tried to clear our appetizer plates less than 10 minutes after we got them - then we sat for 20 minutes waiting for our entrees after that.
As always, great service and great food. Thanks Terra team!
Great place for grilled foods and honest Italian inspired food
Food was absolutely amazing, drinks were great, Service was pretty terrible. Couldnt find the server at all unless he was bringing us our first drink, other than that never asked how everything was or if we needed anything else.
Have been there twice in the last week . ... good enough to keep coming back... and will be back soon again
Great ambiance and amazing food!
Food was subpar for price. Service was slow considering it wasn’t too busy. Won’t be going back
The food was very good, service was great. Very vibrant. 5 stars all around. Prices a little high but worth it overall.
It was super busy and bustling when we visited. There was a lot going on and it was quite hot with the sun, but overall the experience was quite nice. It is definitely expensive for the quality as well as the amount of food that you get, but in the end it was a lovely date location!
Easter Sunday dinner with my wife Susanne!!
Good for friends
I had no idea that food could taste so good. Excited to go back again sometime!!
Waited 20 minutes even with a reservation. Under normal circumstances it would have been fine but we had another event afterwards and told our hostess so but still was seated late. Would like to think it was unfortunate circumstances but definitelys omething to make note of.
I was very disappointed with the food and the service. I felt rushed I couldn't order a second glass of wine. The food was mediocre. Not many vegetarian options just fyi (my friend is vegetarian). The beet gnocchi was not good, it looked like raw meat and seemed like they didn't cook the beets before mixing it with the gnocchi dough. For bread they give you two slices of cold bread that honestly I couldve gotten better bread at TJ's. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The stars for the pork and the peperonata appetized was enjoyable to eat.
We were immediately impressed with the decor. The plants and greenery along with the sun shining through the windows created a beautiful setting. Everything we ordered was on point: the proscuitto balls, lardo bruschette, Mista skewers. Service was attentive. Would definitely go back.
Waiters were super attentive and kept checking to see if there was anything they could do to make our experience even better. Lovely relaxing meal
Did not have a brunch menu - they had lamb for brunch. Very expensive.
Perfect for a date
Great dinner, seated close to the kitchen entrance so it was loud
Took my visiting sister and the ambiance was beautiful. Absolutely love all the plants, open ceiling and overall environment. The food and drinks were delicious and we left happy! It’s definitely a special occasion spot due to the high price of the drinks but totally worth it!
Food is great. Service was OK. Our server did not appear that he wanted to work. He took our orders, but the energy wasnt present. I also order a pasta dish and it never came out. He said he did not hear me order it and asked us if we wanted him to out it in. I told him to pass on it because the rest of our food was already on the table.
