Terra at Eataly Boston
Enjoy Terra's signature dishes for takeout or delivery through UberEats, Caviar, DoorDash, Grubhub, and Tock.
Located on the third floor of Eataly Boston, Terra is a unique restaurant inspired by earth and fire. The dining room centers around a wood-burning Italian grill, where Executive Chef Dan Bazzinotti cooks raw ingredients over burning flames, allowing the simple flavors to shine.
In every earthy dish, the fire’s smoked warmth rekindles our fundamental connection to the elements. Plentiful and playful, the grilled plates are perfect to share around the restaurant"s rustic tables, especially when paired with seasonal drinks.
Terra’s ever-changing beverage menu includes herb-infused cocktails, rare wine terroirs, and barrel-aged beers.

absolutely delicious food, beautiful atmosphere and great service with lots of gluten free options
The food was terrible and so overly priced. The ambiance was great but 40 dollars for a bowl of smoked spaghetti with red sauce and one glass of wine is astronomical.
We wish they had heaters outside! The food and service were both wonderful!
Really overpriced. The staff seemed annoyed we had two children with us who got cranky at the end. Spent over $400 and felt like we were a burden. No heaters or anything on upper deck, freezing. Staff slow and food was cold. Will never ever go back.
We had never eaten at Terra. We looked at outside patio ( 3rd floor) - but preferred the outside seating ambiance of outside street level much better. Since the weather turned COLD late afternoon, we opted for inside seating.
Was surprised the menu was so expensive for entrees- the atmosphere felt very basic.. not luxurious or special to warrant the high prices. That being said, although the food was good, it was way overpriced for pasta.. The Napolitano rigatoni pasta with teeny bits of veal and beef in the sauce was seriously overpriced at $28. I had pasta pomodoro ( tomato sauce) that was OK- but expensive at $18 for a meatless pasta dish. We will come back to Eataly again, but will eat either outside on ground level, or on second level at their more moderately priced eatery.
We sat on the terrace on a mild Fall evening. The ambience was lovely, the staff accommodating, and the food was very good
Outdoor dining is a nice environment for dinner. Food was good!
Table and chairs uncomfortabl
Had to move once and it was a bit better
Was never told that no lunch on Sundays just dinner menu
Not impressed, but I will try another area of the restaurant
Definitely on the pricier side but amazing wine recommendation, fabulous tiramisu, oysters were awesome and arancini was so yummy! Would love to see a pasta dish with no meat that is more exciting than spaghetti and tomato sauce. Wondering where the arugula salad was (I love arugula!)
Overall awesome dinner (will be back!) Only thing that wasn't great was that we had an 8:30pm reservation and was told to come back in 15 minutes because they were running behind. Didn't get sat until 9:00pm. Would have also loved a table further away from the main entrance.
Food was good but it was very loud and hard to hear the waiter. Food was a bit overpriced and the portions were very small.
Octopus was amazing.
Fantastic service! They waited on us, hand and foot. Food was delish and the menu was inventive! The outside got a little cold towards the end of our dinner, wish there were heaters, but overall great time!
The staff was helpful and attentive. The cocktails were amazing and the food was very good. Will definitely be back to visit this restaurant again.
This was my second time at Terra. I love the atmosphere and the service is very good. The food is good but portions very small for the cost. My $14 salad was pretty disappointing and I didn't eat most of it. They have done a good job though with making you feel comfortable in the setting during this pandemic.
Service was absolutely amazing. Great COVID precautions. Food was immaculate.
I really enjoyed the food but the portions were quite small for the cost. I was sat near the wine shelves and the ambience was really nice. My server was so nice. Thank you!
we went for our anniversary, it was a lovely night to celebrate, a little windy on the outside terrace but we had asked to eat out there with COVID restrictions. our server was really great. the wine, DEI was fantastic / the king oyster mushrooms were so delicious and salty / the carbonata so yummy. and then we shared the pomodoro spaghetti. i am choosing to keep our server anonymous because now I am going to talk about work politics. we are vegan mostly and we know that Terra doesn't sell themselves as a vegetarian / vegan place etc. but this is where my only complaint came in - in deciding our main course we asked if we could add some mushrooms or other veg to the pasta - our server was clearly concerned about talking to the chef about any modifications. he suggested putting the app mushrooms - if presented on the side - into the sauce once brought tableside. which was a great idea. however we were surprised that high end restaurant like Terra would be so restrictive in general and not inspired to be creative when the opportunity presents itself. it genuinely is making us rethink going back. we understand that there are quantities measured and recipes planned but if we, of course, are willing to pay for any extras - maybe there might be something new to make? I dunno. but it was weird. and a bit disappointing.
Our dinners were pretty good. We were a bit ignored by our waiter. And there was a mouse running around while we were there.
It was very cold outside and dark.
More lights and heat lamps would be appreciated. In addition food was slightly warm and could have been hotter
This place never disappoints, I was so happy there was an outdoor patio area. I wish there were heaters, but still had a great time with the Mr. Our waiter recommended a great bottle of red, we had a few appetizers and a delicious meal. The waiter was also very good about making me aware of the limitations of the food prep area being cross-contaminated, I gave celiac. All was well!
Food was delicious but portions are so small! The mushroom skewers for $12 had legit 2 pieces of mushroom on them... Kind of ridiculous pricing.
We chose the Chefs choice “more items” with the wine pairing.
Outstanding meal and the experience was great fun.
Good food but really really few options to choose for lunch
Excellent food and service. Very attentive to Covid regulations.
Great lunch and it was paid for by the kind people next to ours! They said we reminded them of their daughter! Nice : )
Had a nice evening here with my family. We have not been out to dinner for quite some time due to Covid. I really liked and felt safe with all the Covid precautions and measures that Terra did. We were not seated near any parties, and there were dividers between tables should there be a party next to you. Service and food was good. I would come back here.
We were a party of four! We wanted the table in the corner because we weren’t comfortable where we were sitting, the waitress told us that we couldn’t have it. She told us some other party reserved it when we also reserved a table that same day, hours in advance. We didn’t want to make a scene so we just went with the flow. But her actions really ruined some of the fun... Besides the food was great. The place was also really nice. The decor is very impressive.
Brunch with the girls! We had polite servers but the service was slow.
Dinner menu all day, even for brunch - not the best. And expensive for what portions they gjve you
The food wasn’t the best. We went for lunch and they only had the dinner menu available, neither my friends and I liked the plates
Disappointing. I’ve made a reservation and still had to wait for my table. Food was OK. Overall I expected more for what we spent.
Overall good experience, but chilly after the sun went down on the rooftop. Would suggest heat lamps for the fall/winter.
Beautiful rooftop, attentive service, the shop on the second floor was wonderful with so many choices. Can’t wait to go back
Very delicious but very expensive, it’s worth it if you want really really good Italian food
Everything was very good and the roof deck is a really nice option have right now for outdoor dining.
Anything from the grill was excellent. The pasta and board apps were on the small side for the price. Service could be improved- we got a dish we didn’t order and one was missed. The lamb and house made sausage special were delicious!
Incredible experience; the ambience is like you’re in a garden outdoor. The only thing that was an exception was too much salt on the steak. However, i would definitely recommend and return.
My experience was great!! Would recommend!!
We had the most charming waiter! The menu could have been a little more robust - some sort of salad starter would have been welcome - also, requested a booth and 2 sat empty across from us....food was delicious! Sat us promptly and can't say enough about our charming waiter Antonio, very attentive :)
