wine list is a treat, so many options
menu has variety/options
professional and respectful staff
most of all meeting Alpana Singh was a treat. my colleagues were thrilled to meet her. She is professional, but also personable, down to earth and very knowledgeable.
High quality, locally sourced ingredients presented beautifully in upscale environs. This is not a place to go to save money, and the value is in the food quality.
you get a fine dining meal at a reasonable price..the portions are good and the wine selections are the best
Good food, friendly atmosphere and a great wine list.
Doug was our server and very attentive and informative and made our dining experience a pleasure.
Every bite of food was delicious, and we enjoyed the wine selection as well. The roasted cauliflower and shrimp pasta dish were so, so tasty and we were very pleasantly surprised. We were able to walk directly into the movie theater from the bar area, making it a perfect date night.
Excellent service by friendly, competent staff. Good food and wine.
Food came out quick and was pretty good. But our server was by far one of the best. He was attentive and respectful. My receipt says our server was Marcos N. Give him a raise.
Perhaps the best meatballs I've ever tasted! Chicken was mediocre at best and the pasta
with sausage looked and tasted very "Cheese cake factory".... I will give it one more try!
We ordered the roasted cauliflower entree as an appetizer to share - FANTASTIC! I would recommend the short ribs. It was a bonus to have Alpana Singh stop by our table.
Nothing fancy nothing over the top
But really nothing wrong. Just average
Our waitress was courteous and pleasant.
Our meal was tasty.
We loved everything about this place - great service, delicious food, amazing wine list. Would highly recommend.
The food was pretty good, we had two different pasta dishes and the skirt steak. The tiramisu layer cake was a bit disappointing, we expected it to be more like the real deal.
The service seemed a bit confused; when we ordered pre-dinner cocktails, the waiter removed the wine card before we had a chance to take a look a wine for the entres. When the food was delivered the food runner seemed to know who ordered what, but really didn't and we didn't get a chance to tell him where to place the dishes. Finally, the waiter brought us the check when we were still eating our desserts and just seemed to be in a rush to get the check closed and go home. However, overall we enjoyed dinner.
The food, menu, wine list, and ambiance were outstanding. We loved it and will definitely be back~
Smoked chicken was excellent, but the spinach salad was pretty bad- barely dressed with huge amount of large leaves. My wife's cauliflower entree was a piece of cauliflower the size of your head. Things just seemed to lack any subtlety or finesse. Great service.
It was nice inside - comfortable and attractive, except that the tables are SO close together that there is little privacy at all for a conversation. We were shown to a table close to the open cooking area where there is a long bench along the wall with many tables (with chairs opposite the bench on the other side of the tables). TOO close together. The food was average. Just average. The wine was OK. Our waiter was very difficult to understand (heavy accent), but I did make out that he kept calling me the "younger sister" to my daughter. Bleah.
The food is quite good, though one friend's chicken was a bit overcooked.
The prices seem just a tad high for what this place is.
This is a good place for before or after a movie next door. Servers are sensitive to getting you served and out if you say you are going to the movies.
Had the fish sandwiches spectacular! And the soup of the day was very interesting. Service was great but I can't remember his name but it was 12pm on Wednesday the 14th. I also got a take out pasta that was with chicken very good
Recently had a business dinner here and was very pleased with the menu, service and atmosphere. I’m a whole foods plant based eater and they were very accommodating. The food was delicious!
Food choices were limited. The quality of service was moderate. I would not go back unless ı will have to.
Wonderful food with emphasis on fresh local ingredients, beautifully plated and prepared. Upscale versions of everyday dishes and some great twists - smoked octopus appetizer. We dined early. As the restaurant began to fill, the service became less attentive. Loft feeling is fun and au courant.
Very nice. I find though that vegan options don’t exist and not many suggestions for alternatives were made.
Service was great! Staff is very nice always had a smile. Food was delicious 🤤 drinks were great. I have already recommended this place to friends!
Great go-to lunch option for all occasions. The avocado toast is amazing. Italian bean salad side is my fave. Good potatoes too.
Absolutely delicious. Everything was great. Particularly enjoyed the prosciutto toast. Wonderful service!
Food is outstanding. A bit on the pricier side but worth it when push comes to shove.
The food, the service, the ambiance at Terra and Vine created a wonderfully enjoyable evening for me and my friends. As an older adult I find too many restaurants catering to millenials and genXers. They are deliberately too nois; the food is high fat, high spice, high never ate anything weird like this before; and the "friendly" incompetent staff doesn't come back to inquire how the food was or do you want another drink. Terra and Vine provides delicious food and excellent service, even hearing what your friend said without difficulty.
My husband and I made a 9:30 reservation on OpenTable from inside the movie theater in the same building - on a Friday night. We arrived a couple of minutes late and the hostess immediately reminded us that the kitchen would be closing at 10:00. Remember, we made a 9:30 reservation as this was one of the times offered on the OpenTable website.
We immediately felt rushed. No specials were mentioned and the waiter didn’t even propose an appetizer.
My husband ordered a spaghetti dish with shrimp that was swimming in water, not a sauce. As if the spaghetti wasn’t entirely drained before pouring into the bowl. No taste either.
I ordered the mahi mahi fish that tasted ok, but it was sitting on cold refried beans. I envisioned the beans had already been wrapped and put in the refrigerator hoping no one would order that dish so late in the evening.
It was about 10:00 when we finished eating and the waiter asked us if we wanted a dessert. We were once again reminded that the kitchen closed at 10, yet we were still finishing our wine!
I didn’t even want to try their dessert at this point and just asked for the check.
Hello! It’s a Friday night. If your kitchen closes at 10, don’t give people a 9:30 reservation option to choose from. Who can really eat dinner, dessert, etc., in 30 minutes unless it’s a food eating competition?!
We have been three times. The first time we were seated at a table for two along the benches and we were so close to the tables on either side. Our waiter had to speak to us from behind my husband. Just too close for our comfort. (However food and service were very good.) We went back with a party of 5 and were seated at a table somewhat separate and it was a great night. Excellent service and the food was delicious. There are some fun, different dishes on the menu. We went back again with just the two of us and luckily they sat us at a table for 4 by the window and it was great. Again wonderful service and delicious food. The butternut squash salad was so wonderful - beautifully presented and different. The beef short ribs were extremely tender with a delicious sauce and wonderfully creamy mashed potatoes. (A definite comfort food dish.) So overall, we do enjoy Terra and Vine, but feel the tables along the benches are just a bit too close to others.
Great food. Good service.
Food was really disappointing. I asked for pasta and that it not be spicy and it came with red pepper flakes. Then the beef I received was bland and not tender. Appetizer was only thing that was good. Service was good as well but we spent almost $200 and were very disappointed with the food.
Service was poor. Time from seating to food was one hour. Order was delivered wrong. Apologies were minimal.
Terra & Vine was very busy on Saturday. We had to wait over 10 minutes after being seated for someone to touch base with us. Gio, our waiter was great, so no complaints there. The food was excellent. I had the short ribs. Others had the trout, chicken and pasta. Everyone was very pleased with their choices. We also had the meatballs, calamari, and shaved brussels sprout salad for appetizers. They were all delicious. We ordered tiramisu for dessert and that was terribly disappointing. I am not sure if it was frozen, but it was dry and crumbly and didn't taste anything like tiramisu. All in all a great evening though.
Excellent dinner with fabulous service. She made excellent food & wine recommendations and reared us so well. Kudos to restaurant & our service team. Special thanks and recognition for our server, Jessica, who really made our girls night out just perfect. Moms were happy. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Overall a very nice experience. My daughter and I were looking for a nice meal while my wife and son went to a show. The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. My singular complaint is that it tends to be a bit loud. The tables are close together and we could easily hear all the conversation around us.
Well, we are two visits and done. First visit was soon after they opened -- nice selection of pizzas with just ok taste. Second time was more disappointing. Cold air blows in from the movie theatre entrance--kept our coats on the entire time just to stay warm. Waiters bickering over who had what tables within our earshot. Pizza selection is down to almost nothing (just two appetizer offerings) and this was a night where we were looking for a nice, wood-burning-oven baked pizza. Gnocchi were inedible (actually mealy in texture -- never tasted anything like that before--waiter kindly brought a different pasta for us), plus a kitchen that does not believe in using salt anywhere. Sorry to give such a bad report, but we were definitely underwhelmed, and that being said, won't return. It's really too back since the location is great (right next to the theatre), restaurant decor is nice, wood burning oven could be producing amazing pizzas, and menu/execution of items could have so much more potential.
Been wanting to try this place for a long time. Finally made a reservation for a girls night and so glad we did. It was FABULOUS! Great atmosphere, service and the food was phenomenal! We got a bunch of small plates and a couple entrees to share and everything was so delicious. I’m now in charge of picking restaurants for our get togethers as my friends raved about this place as well. Lol! Thank you Mallory for the excellent service! Definitely worth checking this place out.
Simply divine. Have been trying to try Terra & Vine for a while, and i finally got a dinner reservation for Valentines Day. The bread and herbed butter to start was awesome. I knew it was going to be a great meal from that point on. We havent tried their specials, which look good as well. Prime skirt steak paired with Toscana rosso was exceptional. My wife had the Mahi Mahi and she was so delighted. The service was great and the rustic, quaint vibe was perfect.
While the overall experience was pretty good, the ambiance with the immediate people around us was a little frustrating.
The table we were seated at was situated between a couch seating & a pull out chair. There were other tables situated near us with maybe about a foot in between each table. This would’ve normally been fine, but we had some neighbors who were extremely talkative...and LOUD. That was probably the most annoying and frustrating thing about the night. In the future it possibly might be great if the tables were situated a little bit further, by a foot & a half, or even 2 feet. This way there’s a little bit more of privacy between tables.
Other than that factor, the rest of the evening was quite pleasant.
Even though we had a very early reservation-5:15- we were not treated well with regard to seating: right in the middle of a row of two tops; even with plenty of open space during the course of the meal, the hostess chose to sit a couple immediately adjacent to us. I notice that occurred elsewhere too, when every table could have been spaced out but instead people were seated elbow to elbow.
In our case our neighbor was wearing heavy perfume and ruined the rest of the meal. A little space could have really helped.
