Have eaten here several times--our current favorite. Last time dined with son and grandchildren. Entrees delicious, child friendly pizza, and tasty shareable dessert.
Overall very good food but gnocchi Gorgonzola had more nuts that gnocchi and were very salty!!
One room quieter than the other very noisy one. The salad pizza was terrific. Fun atmosphere.
The food and drinks at this restaurant are very good, they have a nice variety on the menu from Nice entrees to flat bread pizzas. The only thing I dislike about this restaurant is the noise. But I have to say this time it was nearly as bad as it’s been. It looks like they have put up some sound absorbing sheets hanging from the ceiling. They don’t look institutional but I think that’s what they were for. Still a little noisy but definitely Bette than in the past. We went there before a concert st the St Augustine Amphitheatre so we go there early with a reservation and by the time we left st about 7:00 the place was packed so I would definitely recommend reservations which we did on open table
Very happy with this restaurant. Excellent traditional Italian food with prompt, friendly professional service. Food was delicious. Price was a little above typical casual dining but well worth it. We were here for supper and will probably return during this vacation for lunch.
Our third time there in the last six weeks and every meal has been a delightful experience with good service and great food.
Great food and wonderful service
We have been there before, but we've noticed a decline in the food quality. The mussels were okay, but there were a lot of empty shells and the portions were minimal. The sausage ravioli (special) was good, but the espresso rubbed filet cutlets were cold and poorly seasoned. Steamed broccoli was supposed to be served, but the dishes were sent with brussel sprouts. When the server offered to take it back to have it warmed and re-plated, he told us the chef (also the owner) refused to re-plate and sent a separate plate of broccoli that my wife had to share with our friend. The veal marsala had a sauce that was more like a gelatin paste.
There are too many other better alternatives in St. Augustine. We won't be going back.
We brought 3 other couples as I’ve enjoyed it in the past. My veal Marsala was excellent as were the ribs ordered by 2 guests, the steak and the boar. One guest was brought the wrong dish and it was not corrected until we had finished our meal. The lobster ravioli was tasteless and small. No amends were made to the guest who finally asked them to box her meal as she did not want to eat alone.
I have to say, I was not overly impressed. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice. My daughter ordered lasagna which was very good. I ordered the parpadelle with wild boar...the noodles were watery and I just not care for the dish. I was not impressed with the dessert either. For me, I would say one and done for this place.
Never disappoints. Just know it will be loud! So enjoy the high energy level!!! Amazing food and service. Well priced!!!
Have dined here often and generally have a great experience. But we paid the price for a busy Saturday night. Party of 4 with 7:00pm reservations. Out of two main items from the specials and the menu. That soured the experience a bit. Server, Leigh, did a nice job despite being extremely busy. Will be back, but it will be a weeknight. And yes, this experience is not unusual at most better restaurants in the area.
An Italian restaurant out of an Italian wine??!! Not good.
Ordered salmon well done and it was raw inside . Not good.
Good options for everyone. I have yet to be disappointed with a meal here. This place hits the mark with flavorful food.
A little off the beaten path but worth it! Good, fresh food. Well prepared and fun atmosphere. Other places in St. Aug are for older crowd. This felt hipper so good for younger people.
The food is scrumptious. Like a visit to Italy. The pasta is delectable and homemade. Don’t miss this gem. We’re going twice this week!
Food is always very good... the wait staff is always very knowledgeable and professional
We really wanted to like it but disappointed for the 2nd time! Food quality just not there 😕
Clearly our favorite restaurant in NE Florida! Been about a month since our last visit as a surgical repair of an old joint has limited our excursions...but, clearly, Simone et al still portray their A-game: great food, impeccable service, and incredible wine...all in a pleasant casual atmosphere.
This trip we re-introduced our taste buds to some old standbys. The octopus salad: one of the standards by which I judge the quality of Italian restaurants...a dish that is easy to make very mediocre or truly mess up completely. Not a problem at T&A! Always fabulous with its succulent, perfectly grilled polpo, its diced heavenly roasted potatoes, its piquant olives, its lightly sautéed veggies and its feather-light vinaigrette...PERFECTION this particular evening! Never the same twice but always delectable! Rivals Lidia's as the best I've ever had.
My better half opted for the panzanella; fortunately for me, it was extra-large so we both got to enjoy this treat. In case I've never mentioned it, T&A oak burning fireplace produces bread as good as you'll find in this part of the world...light char and crunch and oh what a flavor! Simone's panzanella rises well above the norm using his same bread, fresh veggies, and delightful dressing...very filling but so very good!
Well, I'm probably boring you at this point and I'm running out of characters, but suffice it to say that the la diavola pizza with a mound of fresh arugula added to it AFTER the pizza comes from the oven represents the epitome of wood-fired pizza...just doesn't get any better!
Do yourself a favor and visit T&A...you won't be sorry!
Somewhat difficult to find, but worth the effort. Food is significantly above average. Many patrons came for the wood-fired pizza, but the pasta is not to be missed.
Took my mom and family here for her 88th birthday. There were 7 of us and it was the first time for most of the group. Almost everyone ordered something different. Each entre was excellent and we had a super time. Matt our waiter was terrific and provided great service. Definitely would recommend Terra & Aqua.
My seafood pasta dish was delicious! My husbands steak was also very good and our waiter was very attentive.
Lobster was chewy. Though marinara sauce was to acitic.
Outstanding food. We had Paul as our waiter and he was just wonderful, would go back in a heartbeat.
We were seated promptly per our reservation, the restaurant was clean , fresh and open. Our waiter was very attentive and well versed in the menu. The food itself was a more than pleasant surprise, very tasty, and made by someone who cared! Will definitely be returning.
Food was good & friendly staff. Need a little background music to die down the noise but overall good restaurant
Food was very good. Ambiance was ok
Excellent food and service. We were ushered to our table right at our reserved time. Good value for authentic Italian.
OK. We went for Valentine's Day and plan to go back next week. We saw so many things on the menu that we want to try. Our server, Matthew, took good care of us. The bread with oil and vinegar was amazing. We even got a second basketful, ignoring the calories! I had the butternut squash lasagna and moaned over it. I want to try something else when we go back, but I'm not certain I can force myself to order something else--it was soooo tasty. My husband had grouper in a red sauce on homemade pasta and really liked it. He's thrilled because there are so many things on the menu he wants to try. I think this is our new go-to restaurant.
always great.. been many times and never displeased, just can get a little noisy, but the food is supreme
Food was good but expensive. There were specialty cocktails & wines but again pricy. Restaurant was very noisy. Kid friendly.
The best wine list for Italian wine offerrings I have seen in St Augustine!
Excellent food. Pizza was very tasty and service was above average.
Some of the best Italian food in FL. Home made pasta is to die for.
Salads are big. Order 1 to share.
Antipasti appetizer is very good.
I would stay away from the Rib eye. It was over cooked and not really worth the price. Besides, you will do yourself a disservice if you don't go for a pasta dish.
Lemon cello is very good.
Best Italian restaurant in Northeast Florida. Authentic Florentine menu and food preparation. Everything we ordered was outstanding. Great variety of appetizers and an interesting menu that will keep me coming back.
Great food, nice presentation, delicious wine. Our server, Charlie, was very knowledgeable & attentive. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
Food is very good and fairly priced. Server was very friendly and competent. Food was a little slow coming out but not terribly so. The restaurant tends to be noisy but overall would highly recommend.
Stay away. This is a restaurant for people who think Olive Garden is fine dining.
From the beginning, our meal was destined to be a disappointment; the waiter informed us that they could not accommodate an easy special request for our 10-year-old because the kitchen was "so busy." This was despite the numerous open tables, and despite the fact that from my seat I could see into the kitchen, where I observed absolutely zero urgency in cooking, plating or serving anything.
My cocktail was watery and took nearly 15 minutes; a refill of the same basic, two-ingredient drink took equal time, yet was prepared completely different and came from the bar with a garnish that is not usually attached to that particular cocktail.
The complimentary bread was charred.
The insalata pera came with hardboiled eggs that had the telltale green ring around the yolk, meaning they have been cooked too long and at too high a temperature. The "romaine hearts" were pretty well beyond their shelf life and consisted of the bright yellow leafy ends, rather than the true heart of romaine. The caesar came with a sloppy series of random drizzles of dressing, apparently done by someone who has never plated and used a squirt bottle; the plate was garnished with a single anchovy filet that was heavily oxidized and too risky to eat.
The butternut squash that others have raved about was the only competent dish, and even then, the "balsamic glaze" seemed to be the exact same as the "balsamic reduction" offered with the salad; I assume they came from the same squirt bottle and both were far too sweet.
The lasagna was a decent portion of mediocrity floating in an indistinct puddle of sauce.
Our waiter was indifferent, seemed put off by basic requests for more water, etc. A word of advice: if you don't like service, don't be a server. A complete waste of $80.
The antipasta appetizer was amazing! Ordered 2 person size for 4 people and it was plenty. The server was incredible and I wish I remembered her name to add it.
Food is delicious and our waiter (Shamen) outstanding !
