Bryce was our waiter, and was absolutely courteous, informative and a pleasure to have waiting on us!
Food was amazing and we will return many times!
The antipasto was to die for!
Our server, Brice, was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and he provided great recommendations. The seared scallops and risotto dinner special was FANTASTIC! We were first time guests and will definitely return on our future visits to St. Augustine beach.
Delicious every time. Apps, drinks, and desserts are always spot on!
It is always a pleasure dining at Terra & Acqua. Rebecca is an outstanding server! She is most professional and attentive, extremely pleasant!
So good. Delicious and affordable!
Overall was a good dining experience. Great appetizer and salad. Lobster ravioli was great, but the chefs special pasta of the day was ok, but was underwhelming.
Great modern Italian place! First off, the ambiance is a little nicer than I had expected. It looked to me (online) like this might be a more casual and less intimate setting but it is actually kind of upscale. We had a party of seven for a 50th Wedding Anniversary dinner and our table was ready (with reservations) immediately. Our waiter was fun, knowledgeable and willing to make solid recommendations. He failed to ask for other drink orders after taking the order for one bottle of wine ( with three kids at table) and didn't refill waters promptly or bring the bread before we ordered, but whatever...it happens. Speaking of bread--super good! Everything we ordered was very good. Those who ordered the veal marsala said it was outstanding and the two gnocchi dishes were incredible (one tomato based and one with cream sauce and artichokes). Also, my daughter said the meatball appetizer featured "the best meatballs she's ever had." I agree and the extra tomato sauce was perfect for bread dipping! The mixed plate of fried food appetizer was a hit as well. I had the grilled beef dish (forget the name) and it was fine but not special (very little flavor and no salt on the table). I wish I would have ordered something else.
Overall, a great evening at Terra & Acqua!
Wonderful staff, delicious food, highly recommend!!!
This was a great way to end the week with our date night. Our waitress recommended the Bibb Lettuce which combined avacado, mignonette, cheese fondue and crispy pancetta. We also loved our choices for our entrees which were Tagliatelle Boscaiola (pancetta, porcini mushrooms, plum tomato sugo and cream) and Lasagna. The restaurant also allows you to bring your own bottle of wine for a $15 corkage fee. We finished our meal with Lemonchello Cake, Lemonchello and an Espresso.
Reserved on Open Table for our 37th Anniversary and requested a "Nice table". Arrived a little before our reservations and was given a table in the bar area, that was not clean. Refused that table, then given the table next to it, which was even worse. Stated that this was our anniversary, and we would like the dining room only, and a nicer table, and we were led back to the dining room, where a table was cleaned for us. After that, the night was just fine. The restaurant isn't real formal like we were hoping, but our server was excellent and food was delicious. I think restaurants need to read the requests on reservations.
Way too hot, unpleasant. Suggest calling ahead to see if ac is working!
Awesome!! Had the Grouper Ragu and garganzola pasta. Highly recommend.
The food, service and atmosphere was fabulous. The variety of dishes, appetizers and desserts made for a very enjoyable family gathering. Our server , #7 and name was D Myles was terrific. She was very attentive.
Sat outside due to Covid concerns. Service a bit slow. Food was plentiful and tasty but unremarkable. No fans outside so too warm for dining.
Another great experience. This time just appetizers and wine to top off the day. Wonderful
Absolutely delightful food. Fresh and tasty. The server was great, very attentive and friendly. We would recommend eating here to everyone.
Everything was really good Paul behind the bar did a phenomenal job as well as serving us and gave us a great table in the corner! Will definitely return!
Picked this as a spot for a birthday dinner. The space felt safe and sanitary with the current Covid restrictions.
Service was decent, but the server had more of a laid back trying to be a cool guy vibe - not what I would expect from a higher end restaurant.
Cocktails were great! The Caesar salad was a bit odd with the large hunks of hard boiled egg, and if the grissini was house made, it was stale. They had none of the pasta with wild boar, but the pasta with ragu sauce was pretty tasty! My partner had the linguine with clam sauce, and while the flavor was excellent, 3 of the 12 clams were served unopen. Any skilled chef should have caught that rookie mistake.
Overall decent place, but we would not go back as there is better food and/or value in St. Augustine.
Ribeye was incredible. I also loved the gnocchi with spicy sausage. Can’t wait to try the wild boar next time! Love this place. Tiramisu was a great way to wrap up a lovely anniversary date!
This was our first visit here even though we're locals.
The staff was wonderful, the food was delicious( I had the lobster ravioli and it was fabulous! ) My husband was in the mood for wild boar and unfortunately they were out of it, So he chose the pappardelle and said it was very good.
A lovely evening, we'll definitely be back.
Great diverse menu. Star of our meal was the FIOCCHETTI PERA ROBIOLA - purse shaped pasta stuffed with a slighly sweet soft cheese in a pear-cream sauce. Chicken under a brick was too charred. Waitress was cold and oddly indifferent which surprised us given past great service here and the fact that we booked this as a special occasion dinner.
Terra & Acqua was the perfect date night location! The food was incredible, and came in such great portion sizes. Our server, Callie was super sweet and attentive! She even gave great suggestions for both food & cocktails. We were also pleased by Rowan, the super sweet bus boy who kept our table cleared and clean!
We will be back! Great job!
The first 2 items we selected they didn’t have! Not cool for a Saturday at 7 pm. Pasta recommended by our server was delicious! Friend ordered meat medium rare and came well done!
Octopus was great and so was the focaccia!!!
Atmosphere not exactly what we were looking for. Food was good, drinks good. Bread was GREAT. Service was "in the weeds", plus a chef had just walked out, so I have to cut them a break for service. We will be back for pizza, it looked awesome. Young guy cleaning tables kept a dirty rag in his back pocket, that is what he used to wipe down EVERYTHING, never saw a spray bottle or new rag. During COVID times unacceptable. Plan on discussing with manager, hopefully some remedial training will remedy that!
WE love this restaurant and is one of the 5 best Restaurants in St.Augustine which has some great eating establishments
Food and service was great as always. Had the scallops and risotto special and it was special. Ordered a coffee and grandmarnier for dessert. Grandmarnier was served in a shot glass and not a snifter which every other restaurant does. Obviously a very small pour. Too bad a poor finish to a great dinner.
Great local place, great food (loved the butternut squash ravioli) and great service. Very expensive.
2 of sat at the Bar and Zina provided great service. Liked the menu and the by the glass wine list was fine. Was only there for an appetizer and a glass of wine. Got the feature pizza with ricotta, prosciutto, arugula and figs. It was good but for $22 felt the toppings were minimal.
They were all wearing masks and the space is set up nicely for social distancing.
Risotto was overcooked and the lobster ravioli sauce was too thin. The bread and calamari appetizer were both delicious though.
outdoor seating is the way to go! Service was spot on great salads and wonderful homemade pizza, cocktails are overpriced but what restaurant isn't. Loved! will go back for sure
So good we came back for a second meal- this time we split a caesar salad and a pizza. Both were excellent!
Fabulous food, service and experience!
Fabulous food and great waiter with good recommendations!! Will dine there again in the near future!
Our first visit to Terra & Acqua and definitely will not be our last. From the appetizers to our dessert the flavors were yummy and the wine selection top notch. Thanks for a wonderful 36th anniversary celebration.
Food was great. Ambiance was nice. Service was lacking. If I buy a $50 bottle of wine I expect the server to open, correctly, pour a taste, then ask if the bottle is accepted. None of thus is being done. Training needed.
This is quickly becoming one of our favorite places to go to especially when we are wanting a break from the “beach” spots. Consistently good food and service and there is plenty of room for social distancing.
Scallops with Butternut squash risotto, excellent!
The food here is consistently good. And, our server was extremely respectful in maintaining distance and wearing his mask. We were seated well away from the only other couple in the main dining area, so we felt quite comfortable. I would say, though, those tables not in use should still be either set properly or removed and not left empty and oddly cocked (unsightly) without chairs, which seriously takes away from a complete dining-out experience. Surroundings and ambiance still DO matter.
Yummy everything! Great atmosphere, food, wait staff!
Hubby had the White Pizza special and enjoyed it. He brought home half of it to enjoy later. I had the Butternut Squash ravioli and it was excellent! I ate the whole thing!
Our server (Miles) was attentive and helpful. She helped by making some suggestions...she was right on!
(This was our first time back to Terra & Acqua in quite some time. We had a very negative dining experience several years ago on Valentines day. Glad we went back!)
