Terra & Acqua
Nice atmosphere, staff was wonderful and food was tasty. Impressed for sure!
Have enjoyed Terra & Acqua many times in the past. This visit was the poorest experience we have had. The service, via Jeffery, was excellent. He was the lone bright spot. Apps...the fritto misto has changed....its been dumb downed. Smaller portion, very little calamari, shrimp, or artichoke. Almost all of the veggies had close to zero breading/deep fried quality to them. There was clearly no effort put in to the construction or presentation. The steak was flavorless. Cardboard. Dont know if this has been frozen multiple times, but it was largely inedible. The lobster cannelloni, purchased by 2 of the 5 in our party, was bad. The dish was so hot that it could not be eaten for several minutes with steam pouring of it. And....seafood texture and flavor does NOT hold up to that kind of heat. Clear lack of attention to detail. The salut not a good thing when the least expensive entree is the only one that was enjoyed. Drinks were good. We opted to skip dessert after the main course experience. We did not complain to our server. Probably should have pointed out some of the clear misses.
Another solid experience at this spot. We shared a fresh salad to start and our main dishes were nicely done. My wife had the seafood with a little lobster tail and calamari (asking them to omit the usual shrimp) and it was nicely presented with some freshly grilled veggies. I did the ossobucco special which tasted wonderfully though the portion was small. Fresh green beans and polenta were a nice compliment to the dish.
We have dined here several times and the food has been freshly prepared and tasty with good attentive service from a knowledgeable and accommodating staff.
Very friendly, didn’t rush you and food was unbelievably delicious!
New Year’s Eve - In booking i was not told it was a fixed four course menu. While the choices were limited, it provided a greater range of choices than several other restaurants I had checked into prior to booking. Service was wonderful!
Our expectations for a big holiday were average, even though we are regular customers and love the food.
My father was a chef,so I know how difficult kitchens are at holidays.
We were beyond delighted; our server was attentive, but never made us feel rushed. The choices on the special holiday menu accommodated everyone, and everything came out hot and delicious.
Thank you for an exceptional holiday out!!
Food is fresh, delicious, very well prepared and presented (salad and main). The desserts were okay...would have been very good except the limone cake was way too cold, almost frozen and the pistachio “custard” was more of a foamy mousse and a bit warm...both had good flavor though. We were there New Years Eve.
We dined here New Years Eve 2019. The bad news is they had neglected to note on line that there was a Prix Fix menu only so we were surprised. The good news is the menu and food was above good. The only disappointment was the grouper was a bit over done. However the service was spectacular and everything else was wonderful. This is a favorite of ours when in St Augustine beach for a reason.
Great atmosphere and service! Food was delicious.
The food was amazing as always!!!
We had a phenomenal waitress - Cara I believe? Booth was a bit tight for 4 normal sized adults but nothing else was available. Place was packed. All ordered the seasonal cocktail which sounded better than it was (something with cranberry Prosecco and gin) Our apps were great - caprese, Caesar salad and Fritto Misto. Excellent bread. Mains included the pear pasta purses, short ribs and linguine with white clam sauce which were all delicious. The one exception was a special with short rib-chicken-pasta combo which fell very short - too greasy and the chicken and pork just didn’t work together. Dessert was tiramisu and cappuccino which was a strong finish. Overall great except the one bad meal was the only person who had never eaten there before.
Our server was awful.
Staff is professional, knowledgeable and friendly 🤗🤗
Five of us enjoyed wonderful food, drinks and service. Acoustics made it a bit hard to hear each other sometimes. Highly recommend, but I think better for couples than groups
Really appreciated how accommodating they were with many different requests and adjustments before, during, and after the meal.
Bread was good. I had salmon which herb covered but bland. Asparagus was underdone with burned taste...go figure. One person had lasagna which was formless and drowned in sauce. Meatball appetizer was clearly held together by breadcrumbs though obviously not just one near...a plus. It's okay...better than an Olive Garden but definitely not stellar.
We have been here before and we’re with my family who got us a gift card and celebrating the holidays . We were overcharged for many items than we did not order . We had to hunt done the server . We waited for it to be corrected and our gift card that was given to us was not deducted properly. The food was excellent but sadly this is the second time we have been overcharged and although the food was great we most likely won’t be back soon .
WOW, what a hidden gems! The food quality, taste and presentation were fabulous and outstanding! The ambiance was extremely trendy, comparable to those popular one in Manhattan. Staff was extremely attentive, friendly and professional! Value was excellent! Every dish we had was delicious! We actually re-ordered some of the appetizers! Though we were really full, we had to order coffee and dessert as we know that it will not be disappointed! If this restaurant is in New York, we’ll definitely be a regular!
Day after xmas was super crowed so service was a bit slow to start but then AOK.
Traveling w family, wanted a nice casual restaurant with GOOD food.
It was FANTASTIC
This was such a surprise find thanks to Open Table. Our meal was fantastic and Farid took wonderful care of us. Everything was delicious but the Gnocchi and Focaccia bread were the table favorites and were out of this world.
Food is always great!! Service not so much. Be prepared to wait. Server was disorganized so that may have contributed to the wait.
Great service, food was excellent, brick oven pizza very good. Will be back.
We took guests to the restaurant during the holidays and the food was wonderful. Our waiter was professional and attentive. We had a great experience and would be happy to return.
We were able to get a table on Christmas Eve, the place was packed and very noisy but in a festive way..our waiter was great and the food was as always, excellent! We love it here and it doesn't hurt that its practically across the street from us!
Wonderful Christmas Eve! Food and atmosphere great, and our server, Paul was typically spectacular!
Extraordinary meal on Christmas Eve! I would make the trip back to St Augustine just to have dinner there again!
Great service, food and drink. Has become a tradition on Christmas Eve (3years now). Highly recommend anytime of the year.
First visit. Tried a variety of dishes to share. Excellent quality and served professionally. Enjoyed all of our selections. A bit out of the way for frequent dining for us but it was worth the trip.
Seafood soup was outstanding
We shared 32ounce bone in rib eye with potatoes that were roasted to perfection
The four of us thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful meal
We just love Terra and Acqua...everything about it. Whether we order from the regular menu or try one of the amazing specials, we’re always delighted and amazed by the freshness, expert and loving preparation, presentation and friendly service. The freshly baked bread is wonderful dipped in EVOO and Balsamic Vinegar. The appetizers are amazing. We especially love the PEI Mussels and the meatballs. We haven’t found an entree we don’t love. And sometimes we’re in the mood for pizza. And, hands down, the pizza that comes out of the Terra and Acqua oven is the best around.
Lobster Ravioli was delicious!
My wife’s birthday dinner. Not overly friendly. But the absolute worst part is that the 3 chicken entrees we ordered were not even cooked through. We sent it back and it still came out raw!! No apology really. It was like they didn’t want us to come back. They did take off the chicken entrees from the bill. Won’t ever return.
Wonderful service even when crowded but so noisy that you had difficulty understanding our family members!
Terrific primo terra menu
Everything was great! The food and service! We always visit here when we come to St. Augustine!!
Great restaurant! The food was delicious and they had a great selection.
I had high expectations based on the reviews I read, however I found the food to be sub par and somewhere between an olive garden and a carrabba's.
Love this restaurant. The food is consistently good with some unusual options. The daily specials are a good value with a choice of fresh fish or meat.
Delicious Italian in North Florida! I was in town from NYC to visit my family and delighted to share a wonderful meal made with quality ingredients with them.
