Teresa Caffe Ratings and Reviews
Teresa's Cafe has consistently good food. It was great that they now take reservations since that was not the case in the past. Our party split the bruschetta to start. It was very tasty and well plated. I had the eggplant parm, my wife had the pumpkin ravioli and the other member of our party had the chicken dish. Everyone was happy with the choices. The bread and olive oil that our waiter asked if we wanted was very good chewy but crusty on the outside. I cannot resist the bread pudding when we are here and it did not disappoint me.
A great meal at Teresa's, as always. We were looking for a place that would be open for a later dinner and were glad to see the restaurant open until 11pm on a weeknight. The menu has changed for the season, but we were all able to find something to enjoy. The mushroom pizza was a particular hit.
Nothing was bad by any means and in fact was very good. However, firstly, they said I had no reservation, although obviously I could show my confirmation through open table. Luckily there were tables. The service was rather haphazard. Staff were pleasant but somewhat unengaged.
I visited this restaurant 18 years ago and had not been back since but remembered it to be very good. I returned in 2016 when I took my daughter to Teresa's Caffe for her birthday dinner. We returned this year for her birthday and just visited for my upcoming birthday. Teresa's is consistently great food as well as good service. I would highly recommend it if you are visiting the Princeton area.
My family and I favor Teresa's as our brunch spot. Cute location, great for casual dining. It's a great place to catch up with the family and enjoy good food. Our go-to meals of choice are the prosciutto cotto breakfast pizza and the French toast - both are absolutely delicious!
We were wanting a restaurant where we could have a drink with dinner. We enjoy Mediterra and Eno Terra so we decided to try Teresa Caffe. The outside seating area is adorable but there was no availability so we were seated toward the back of the restaurant which seemed a little run down.
The food was fine. Not sure if I would go back here again
The food is excellent-lots of various spices, veggies, etc with amazing sauces. Service was prompt, friendly and not at all rushed. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Sat outside and it took us back to the small cafes in Europe. Just wish they had ice cream for affogato! Always a pleasure dining here.
Teresa Caffe has authentic Italian food. Our party of four split the asparagus pizza as an appetizer. It was fresh and bright, with a hint of lemon zest . . . the perfect summer pizza. It took a while for our order to be taken, but overall the service was excellent. Our water glasses were refilled numerous times. The server was able to separate out our checks, as two of the four of us were here on business. The tables are close together and not particularly large, but the consistent quality of the food makes it all worth while.
Food and service was as good as always. We were seated outside, which is usually lovely. However, there was a strong breeze blowing from the alley between buildings, bringing with it the aroma of the trash cans! This is not Teresa Caffe's fault, but it did make it unpleasant.
The food was very good. It is by far the best food we have eaten at Teresa's after several visits. We really enjoyed the arugula salad and the margarita pizza. The salmon and the fedelini pasta was also quite tasty.
Our only complaint was our table and our surly waitress. We arrived on time for our reservation. Several groups without reservations were waiting to be seated. A group who arrived just in front of us with no reservation was taken to a better table. We then got seated by the front door. When we asked if there was a better table we were told no. Ten minutes later a better table cleared and a group without a reservation was seated there.
Our waitress was somewhat nasty from the start. We brought our own wine which she obviously didn't like (they do charge a $20 corkage fee). We quickly ordered some starters that took forever to come. She dropped off our wine glasses and then moved on to another table to take their order rather than opening our bottle. I had to ask another waiter to open our wine. The manager took charge noticing we were feeling ignored and from then on things went smoother. The waitress also became more friendly later.
Besides the waitstaff issue, I would go back there again. I just hope I get a different waitress.
