   I visited with some friends. The food was good — I’d give it an 8 out of 10. Everything was served in plastic to-go containers, which wasn’t a big deal for me, especially since it made taking leftovers easy. The music was a vibe, and the outdoor patio added to the atmosphere. Our only complaint was the drinks. They weren’t good at all. I had a Moscato that didn’t taste like Moscato, someone else ordered a Long Island that tasted more like Coke, and the Lemon Drop just tasted like Simply Lemonade. Overall, I would go back for the vibe, but definitely not for the drinks. It could also be that the place is still fairly new.

   I was really looking forward to visiting this spot after seeing all the buzz on social media—the ambiance and music looked amazing. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite and honestly, very disappointing. I made a reservation on Tuesday for a party of four (inside seating) at 10pm Friday. We received confirmation with the usual notice—15-minute grace period and 90-minute table limit. We drove in from Greensboro (almost 2 hours away), arrived promptly, and were at the gate by 10:01pm. That’s when things went downhill. We were told—very nonchalantly by the hostesses—to wait for a table. No apology, no update, just “wait over there.” We waited 40 minutes before we were finally seated—outside, in the middle of the pollen storm. This only happened after I had to flag down someone who introduced himself as the owner. Still, no acknowledgment of the delay, no empathy, no accountability. What’s the point of making a reservation if guests still have to wait 40 minutes? To make matters worse, there were two empty tables inside the entire time, yet we were told they were “reserved.” Make that make sense. While I’m always eager to support Black-owned and up-and-coming businesses, this experience was simply not it. The food was decent but not remarkable, certainly not enough to excuse the long wait, poor service, and indifference from staff. And to be honest, for the price point, being served on takeout plates with plastic utensils just cheapens the whole experience. This place clearly has potential, but there’s a lot of work to do on professionalism, hospitality, and honoring reservations. First impressions matter—and sadly, this one made it clear I won’t be returning anytime soon.

   Waited over a hour to be seated with a reservation. Had to chase down a waitress to get a drink while we waited on our table. After we where finally seated we waited an additional 35 mins before we were able to grab a waitress to get our order by far the worst experience I have ever experienced at any establishment highly do not recommend.

   Overall very good food and atmosphere. The drinks weren’t the best for taste or value. Service ended not so great
