A culinary collaboration between Tequila Comida & Cantina and Marina Grill, infusing the vibrant flavors of Mexico into the heart of Wilmington’s waterfront. Established in 2018 by Chef Ramon Villasenor and Miguel Villasenor, Tequila Comida & Cantina has teamed up with Marina Grill to create an exceptional dining experience.

Nestled beside the Riverfront Park and boasting an extraordinary view of the Riverfront Marina, Tequila’s Waterfront offers a unique setting. Our spacious outdoor area is the perfect spot to enjoy live music during the summer months. The food was ok- but pricy for what it was. You’re definitely paying for the location. We went at lunch and the service was bare minimum, with a manager walking by us several times but never engaging or offering to assist us when the server couldn’t be found. Unfortunately, the bathrooms and floors needed serious attention (only 1 working female toilet), having significant dirt and grime. The hostess was super friendly!

Despite The Riverwalk area being very busy the staff was all Working very hard. They were dressed festively for the 4th of July. It was fun , drinks were terrific, food was great. The vibe outside was terrific with the live music!

Our first experience there was great. This time, we had a slack water who brought out bottom of the barrel chips, was not around when we needed him, did not clear excess service plates between the appetizers and the main coarse. Food was good as it was the first time.

The music was waaaaay too loud and everyone is yelling to talk. Waaaay too loud. The brisket taco Tuesday tacos were flavorless. Absolutely zero taste and not much brisket at all. My wife’s strawberry chicken salad was good…she enjoyed it. Our friends said theirs was okay, not great.

Our waiter was terrible. My Mom fell and hit her head and even though staff stopped to help her no manager was alerted and no one came to check on her. Do better!

Ceviche was very good , good price for amount. The entrees were pretty good but not sure I’d order any of the 3 we got again. Food was fresh just not awesome. Inside was beautiful, great feel and vibe. Service a very good.
