We are a large family pub, with a great value-for-money selection of food and drink. Our extensive menu has offers for all of the family, from ‘just a nibble’ to a ‘mouth-watering steak’. It’s our excellent food, great drink and our friendly atmosphere which keep our customers wanting more – and we would love you to become a part of it.

We also have SKY, with a large selection of channels, so you can enjoy watching your favourite sport on one of our many flat-screen TVs.

This was a good meeting place for members of our family who all happened to be visiting the area. The menu consisted of fairly basic "pub food", and unfortunately there were no steaks in stock (so the Mixed Grill was unavailable. But alternative choices were easily made, and the food and drink were enjoyed by all. Some of us also chose items from the small list of desserts, and found them very tasty. The food overall was good value for money.

Considering how busy it was, as there were lots of other people eating between Commonwealth Games athletics sessions, the food arrived quickly. The waitress was so friendly and had a lovely smile. It was very reasonable especially as we are used to London prices. The food was good and we enjoyed our visit.
