Always the best service and food in NYC. A truly exceptional dining experience from the moment you walk through the door. Celebrated a birthday with a special friend and the birthday cake was a great surprise. Can’t wait to return.

Food was great. Selection was good. Ambience was perfect. Cocktails were fantastic. Service was slooow. Our waitress kept disappearing for long gaps. But overall it was a very good dinner.

We were disappointed with Tender. The menu was more limited than I expected. My husband and I decided to share the large ribeye. We ordered it medium rare and it arrived very rare. They recooked it but then the potatoes and spinach were cold. The shrimp were $6 each and not large. The total bill was $150 with tip and 2 glasses of wine, 1 streak and shared vegetables. Overpriced and very disappointing.

This was a pre-theatre dinner reserved for 5pm. We has to wait 10 minutes before being seated. Seemed awkward as restaurant was staffed and no one else was inside.

Filet mignon was ordered medium well but arrived red and had to be sent back.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing. I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Delicious!

Food is really good, and decent wine list. Service is rushed, felt like we had to leave ASAP. Great atmosphere and decor.

The food was tasty and delicious. The service was great. The ambience was very nice. I highly recommend this place for date night, or any night for that matter.

My grandnephew, who is in the military, and I were very impressed. The receptionist, Ely, greeted us with a big smile and cheerfully escorted us to our table. The lovely server, Andrea was just as warm, friendly, helpful, & patient with my grandnephew’s concerns about his many food allergies. So was Maria, who was the temporary reliever. The prix fixe lunch was a steal at $29. We both ordered the fried avocados for appetizer. I took the salmon & my grandnephew the chicken for the main course. . For dessert, I had the tiramisu & he took the cheesecake. Everything was delicious! To top it all, even though they closed the dining area for a break before dinner & they started fixing things for a private party, they did not shoo us away. I asked Andrea a couple of times if we might be on the staff’s way & she assured us we were not. (I have to say though that we got a little uncomfortable when a man who seemed like a supervisor (not sure) went in and gave us an eye.) So we happily continued our conversation which meant a lot to us because we hardly see each other especially when he was deployed. Keep up the good work, Tender!

Everything was great, food quality was excellent, service wonderful. My one complaint would be the
Drinks. They gave a very small pour. I ordered Dewar’s on the rocks and it was one sip and gone!
My fiancé ordered wine and she poured only about 1/4 of the glass. When I complained she poured him a fuller glass on his second.

Great place! Located at The sanctuary hotel, they offer a fine dining experience. The staff was lovely including our amazing waitress Andrea! Food was Superb!
My boyfriend and I ordered the ribeye. We like ours rare and they were cooked perfectly! Yum!
Paired with the lobster Mac and cheese and onion rings it was quite delish.

When we’re on the city again, we are going back!

My wife and I came for pre theatre dinner . We arrived at 530 for a 7pm
Show. We had to wait quite a while for entrees and ended up deciding to return after the show for dessert. While that was a very nice option to have we were a bit stressed about being late for our show. So we kind of hurried though our meals. We did tell our waitress about our show. My spicy rice appetizer and salmon entree were delicious. My wife had ceaser salad - so so- and the pasta which was okay. The cheese cake after the show was good. Would be nice to have a steak option on the pre fixe menu even if an up charge.

The ambiance was amaaaazing! The food was great! But my partners steak was overcooked and we wanted it to be medium rare! So it delayed everything.. I was done eating while he was still waiting for his steak to be done. The waiting times between alerones and entree was a bit long! But the staff was on point and attentive!!!!! I would come back again.

It was our Annversary weekend and I've been bragging to my wife about Tender for weeks now. I don't know if our server had an off night, but the wait was extremely long for our entree, however, the food was delicious, as well as our wine. She left a portion of our order off and we didn't remind her, cause it appeared she was more attentive to the hotel guests, rather than us. My wife was a bit disappointed, but we tried to make the best of a bad situation. The service was definitely reflected in her tip and she tried to make up for it in the end, but by then, we were ready to go.

Hospitality was outstanding. From the time you walk in to when you leave you are taken care of. Food was outstanding. Both had filet mignon. Cooked perfectly. And the cocktails were made perfectly. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

I have been to Tender several times but this time for a business dinner having the confidence all would go well.

I must say , food is amazing, service is top notch and you get value for your $.

We had a wonderful experience dining at Tender.
The service was courteous and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! Make sure you order the spicy tuna crispy rice appetizer and the fried avocados. They are both very tasty and seasoned to perfection.
The generous portion of branzino was truly appetizing and accompanied with potatoes and vegetables.
The crème brûlée for dessert sealed the deal that this restaurant is a winner ! We will be back :)

My steak was very expensive it was overcooked. The salad was very good, the service was horrible. She didn’t know what she was doing she disappeared it all at all I would never go back to this place again or recommend it. My friend chose it because a friend of hers had been there and it was just awful.

What a great find in the middle of the theatre district! We had a wonderful time celebrating my daughter’s 21st here. The sushi lovers enjoyed the omakase, the steak lovers could have whatever cut they preferred. Everyone enjoyed sampling the truffle fries and mashed potatoes. Even though we were all quite full after finishing our dinners, we somehow managed to share the incredible (and huge!) ice cream sundae, complete with birthday fireworks and song from the entire restaurant. Service was very attentive despite the busy Saturday night crowd. We’ll be back!

One of my favorite restaurants! Sushi is amazing & the steaks are savory! Highly recommend!

Took my daughter out to eat. The decor with the mirrors and wood was very chic. The wait staff was great, attentive and courteous. The food came out pretty quickly but the dishes we ordered were simple. Had the crab roll as a starter. Great blend of flavors. I tried the green tea old fashioned. That drink was ok. I next tried the raspberry side car. That cocktail was delicious. We both said that we would go back again.

Our waiter, Kevin was attentive. We had a "Groupon" that was given to us as a Christmas gift. I was not expecting the amazing food, the rib eye and truffle fries outstanding. Butternut squash soup was delicious (maybe a bit more nutmeg & cinnamon). I loved every bite. It was my husband's birthday and they brought out dessert with a sparker, so thoughtful. I cannot wait to go back!

Exquisite dining experience. We had the filet mignon, with garlic mashed potatoes and it was a culinary delight. We were there to celebrate my birthday and the ambiance was perfect. Service was 5 Star! We highly recommend this fine establishment.

Good spot for lunch or dinner. Need to ask for the Pre fix lunch menu which is a great deal.

Our waiter stopped coming to our table after we finished our dinner. It had been 45 mins after we finished and she still never came back around to check on us or give us our bill. We had to ask the hostess for the check. He ended up bringing us our bill with no explanation as to why our server just stopped taking care of our table. It was very odd. The food was okay and the prices were high.
