Nicely greeted, Seater was accommodating , service excellent...Foid very good and plentiful..Would definitely return
Absolutely enjoyed it. Food and service were top-notch and beautiful setting. Had a table of 8 right on the finish line .. Everyone raved about the experience
Wonderful experience, food, and service. We went for a family outing on a Saturday afternoon. From the valet parking to the racetrack and casino- we had a great time. Can’t wait to visit again.
Only problem was seating- hostess not to pleasant. Made reservation for inside near window- even though Restaurannt was mostly empty she kept insisting on seating us outside or the worst possible table- everything else was great
The seafood, salads, appetizer, fruits, veggies and desserts. All four of us were a bit disappointed with the other pre-cooked hot buffet items.
The service was great. We were there on Fountain of Youth Day so it was packed yet the staff was super accommodating.
Excellent food and staff. Only complaint was that they had tables reserved for people who never showed up and we got a table that was not that good and we were physically there
Fountain of Youth...not a winner but, still had a blast. Charles, fabulous host, handles the crowd like a pro. Indra our server...fabulous and Gina our human tote machine had the patience of a saint with some novice handicappers. Can’t wait to go back!
Good buffet and comfortable seating. Nice place to spend the day watching the races.
Service was not up to what it was previously. We waited along time and had to ask for everything.
No the lunch chicken was bad , the service was slow ,the tvS are to small, cant hear the race info over the speaker system. would not go back sorry ge
Excellent day at the track!
Good way to spend a day at the track. Great Buffett.
Service was responsive, efficient and courteous. It’s a nice location from which to watch the horse races. However, the food was the worst I’ve had in a restaurant in years. The nacho chips were soggy and the cheese was a processed, runny cheese product reminiscent of yesteryear. The pizza tasted like a cheap frozen pizza. And with this the restaurant charged a $35 per person minimum for meals.
We were greeted quickly, seated promptly at a great table overlooking the finish line, and the pleasant waitress was right there. The menu was filled with a good selection of lunch
items. Food was fresh and delicious and served hot. It was a very enjoyable afternoon at the races.
open table booked a reservation, for multiple groups of people, yet the restaurant was completely closed for that entire day. WTF ?
Exceptional in every way. If you’re into horse racing while having a top notch experience then this is the place for you! Just be aware that there is a $35. Minimum but you’ll wind up eating that anyway because the food is so delicious. Don’t miss this experience. Go and enjoy!,,
The restaurant is at a horse racing track. There was a lively crowd in attendance enjoying the races so the noise level was high, but it was a fun atmosphere. Also, to be fair I was seated in the bar area which was probably the loudest portion of the restaurant. I am sure it got much more quiet away from this location. The staff was busy, but still managed to be fairly attentive. The food was excellent.
Everything was great but the service. Natacha was not service oriented we were constantly looking for her. I have been there many times and never had an experience where the waitress or server wasn't all over us, especially outside. I feel we get the best service outside.
Don't WASTE your money! Go somewhere that is actually is worth your time. Staff and Manager are horrible as well
We've been to Ten Palms several times and we love this place! The dining room overlooks the race track at Gulfstream, and you can watch the races and place bets (and get paid) without leaving your seat. Given all that, it would be excusable if the food and service weren't first rate, but that's not the case. The food is very good and eminently enjoyable. I had pappardelle pasta with blue crab, and Pat had branzino. Both very nicely prepared (and the pasta was al dente). Another nice touch: when we ordered our appetizer (a hummus platter), the waiter asked when we would want him to place our entree orders. As a result, we were able to pace our meal. The cost for lunch is a $35 minimum per person. Since we don't drink, we rarely reach the minimum, but this time we were only a few dollars under.
The food is great and you can’t beat the entertainment! Love sitting in Steve’s section because we get treated like old friends!
This is a racetrack restaurant. High energy level because of concurrent racing. Tables are in a trackview setting. Food choices are between a buffet and menu a la carte ordering. Our a la carte choices were almost "bar food" like items----chicken wings, clam chowder and a shrimp Ceasar sald. Service was mediocre. Our server pandered to the regulars. Typical of a racetrack restaurant. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Great place to watch the races!
Great place to go to watch the horses. Food has gotten better over time. Not the best value in terms of food price vs. quality, but when you factor in that you're paying something to be able to sit and watch the horses, it's not a bad value.
Great place to enjoy the races while have a delightful lunch.
menu with many choices. food prepared and presented tastefully. SERVERS OUTSTANDING ! races easily viewed... wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
It is a different way of having a brunch. Our daughter in law (who is here with our son for a few weeks holiday) is a "horse girl" in the Netherlands. She has her own horse. Not a race horse but a dressage horse. For her it was nice to gamble a little.
Excellent, fun day with good food and friends add excellent service and you have a perfect day!
We have been to Ten Palms twice for the races and both times the buffet was fabulous! Crab salad is the best we’ve ever had! Service was perfect as well. However, on both occasions, the host and hostess were not friendly and acted as though they would prefer to be elsewhere. This will not deter us from going back to Ten Palms. The rest of the staff is great!
I recommend it if you are going to the races (not sure where else you would go). Food was generally OK. Desserts were not OK. AND we had three (3) - not sure where they came from but I would avoid . . .
Fabulous Gulfstresm experience. Excellent Bloody Mary to start, then awesome shrimp cocktail, and bronzino and to top it amazing Espresso martini!
we reserved a table for 1/22/2020. there is no racing that day because they raced monday should have told us before they booked the reservation
Très bon bonne ambiance
Great place to watch the races , great food ,i agree with some other reviews tip should not be automatic , service becomes spotty after the first half hour, you have to search out waiter, i think this in part they know 20% is added to ck
I was disappointed that we were charged for coffee and tea that has never happened to me before- and i have ate at buffets from west coast to east coast
Lot of fun, good food and a tv at the table. watching football and betting ponies was great...drinks and good coffee the 6 of us stayed like 5 hours...Enjoyed the day thanks
MY reservation request was for 2, 8 person tables by the windows close to finish line which we have had several other times. This reservation was made 2 months prior to today. Instead they put us on the upper level at a table for 16. Most did not have a view of the live track. There were plenty of tables below us which could have accommodated us. Further, the service was horrible in spite of the money being spent. It appears that if you are not "regular", your business is not important.
