Ten Hope BK
A portion of our bar and dining room is held nightly for Walk-In diners.
The food was excellent and made to order. Service was great.
First visit to Ten Hope. Nice atmosphere, and good service from a genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Food quality is good to excellent. However, a few things that disappointed. Portions are small. My wife ordered the scallops, and there were 3 of them. Octopus was good, but not a filling entree for sure. Since we were still a bit hungry, we figured we would get some dessert. There is no dessert menu! And no coffee or tea. This was very perplexing and disappointing. Hopefully they will add this soon.
Nice little place that we never tried in Williamsburg. Waited about 40 minutes for the food and we were frickin famished! By the time the food came we scarfed it down, left nothing on the plate, and were eager to be on our way. The staff is super friendly but with one chef on the kitchen and a packed house, you can see how this was not the best dining experience. Still, we made the most of it. The food is simple fare with a few cheffy touches, but nothing to write home about. All in all, not a bad experience but certain not the best.
Overall, an excellent place that more people should know about. Their brick chicken was probably the best chicken that I've ever had. Along with that, the scallops were excellent, as was their Dark and Stormy. The octopus, while being absolutely delicious and the best octopus I've ever eaten, came with only one tentacle at $28 or $29 — that's simply not enough food at that price, even in Williamsburg. My drink (dirty savannah) was made with flat ginger beer and the drink overall didn't leave an impression. Lastly, they don't yet have a dessert menu, something I definitely would like to have sampled!
Brunch at Ten Hope was really nice. We ordered the pita with hummus to start and then I had the sunflower salad with an added poached egg, while my friend had the shashuka flatbread. I pointed out to the waiter that their menu said $15 for 1 hour of bottomless mimosas, however their website listed 2 hours for $15. He was incredibly accommodating, explaining they had recently changed it to 1 hour limit, but he still honored the 2 hours listed on the website! Such a deal!!
Service and food was above and beyond exceptional! I had the salmon and my husband had the Steak. Look forward to my next visit when I’m in town! Thanks again Ten Hope.
This is my second time dining in at Ten Hope and as always, the space is absolutely gorgeous! I love the ambiance. My last visit I had the Chicken Cooked Under A Brick and my friend had the Ten Hope Kofta Burger, which were amazing! This time I opted for the Pan Seared Atlantic Salmon - Highly recommend. Friendly staff, the wine was great, and the music fit the atmosphere perfectly.
Great atmosphere and really tasty and unique plates, perfect for sharing. Being pretty new still it’s not your typically over packed trendy joint where you can’t here the person across the table. Cozy vibes overall!
The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and attentive. I look forward to going back.
I liked the ambiance and decor inside and outside. I am sure it’s lovely to sit in a garden area in the summer. Our waitress was pleasant and quick. However food was very disappointing. Tiny portions and expensive. I guess it’s the norm for Williamsburg these days but we were all disappointed in quality and quality of our brunch dishes. I wouldn’t be back.
Shared the dips, sunflower salad, chicken under the brick and scallops and loved it all. The cocktails were on point and the scene was intimate/cool.
