Under Chef J. Steve Brockman’s direction, Ten 3 is poised to join the area’s distinct, burgeoning culinary landscape. Our menu features international, Mediterranean, New Mexican, and American dishes, all thoughtfully and responsibly prepared from scratch, emphasizing the unique flavors of the region, and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. We strive for straightforward beauty in every dish with the hopes that each bite will create moments of communal joy you’ll want to return to time and time again.
Although the alpine dining experience can present amazing opportunities to create lasting memories, weather can occasionally present unexpected challenges related to our remote tram access - please be patient with the rare and unavoidable delays or cancellations that may result due to high winds or adverse weather conditions.
This is a special occasion kind of place, mostly because it's on top of a mountain with the only access being a Tram. The atmosphere is pleasantly modern with a phenomenal view of Albuquerque. Prices are understandably on the high side when you consider the logistics of having a restaurant at 10,300 feet. We started with the tomato soup and a raisin-walnut salad which we thought were very good. For the main dish, we ordered the Filet - which was cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth. The potato and vegetables they give you with the meal are tasty, but a bit mushy and not pleasant to look at - they could make a better choice here. The servers were attentive and excellent. Overall, we recommend, but the chef should rethink the side dishes.
Wonderful view. Fun to take the tram to get there. Service could use a little work, but they are new so I will give them a break. Excited to go back.
We chose this restaurant as a part of an amazing weekend trip to Albuquerque. We wanted a nice romantic evening out. We were greeted warmly upon arrival. Our server, Clementine, was incredible! She paced our meal perfectly. She made great recommendations from the menu and even took photos of us. The sunset from this restaurant is incredibly beautiful! If you are visiting the area, this is a must do!
The views are so beautiful. Our server was very good.
This is not a complaint, more informational, while we were advised to plan out timing to arrive early enough to ride the tramway, it is the same going down! It took us an hour waiting in line for the tramway to return to the parking area.
Great food, excellent service. . . the view was pretty good, too.
Delicious food, magnificent views, pleasant wait staff, great overall experience.
Absolutely loved it. Stunning views, elegant decor, fantastic waiter and mouth watering food and drinks.
I would recommend 10-3 for views and drinks in the bar. While our food was really good (steak and salmon) and drinks were good, the experience of patrons is too inconsistent and the price too high for me to recommend. At these prices, it should be a sure thing every time. Quality of food, service, attentiveness, and correction of any errors. I never saw a floor manager. If you get a really awesome floor manager who is looking over and minding the quality of everything, talking to patrons, thanking them, fixing any problems to make sure experiences are consistent you will thrive. Invest in an awesome manager! Otherwise, the reviews will kill you. I almost cancelled my reservation night of based on reviews.
Best meal in Albuquerque in quite a while. Ten 3 is truly unique and a seriously enjoyable dining experience. Beautiful restaurant with great staff - the lamb was possibly the best I've had since Stephens Restaurant closed on Central. We'll look forward to our next ride up the tram to Ten 3.
Over priced! More options on menu , the server spilt coffee on my grandma and said dessert on us than we ordered 3 deserts and he came back and only comped 2 of them..
Ordered the pork belly appetizer, which was good. The recommended alpine martini was not great. My ribeye was chewy, clearly a lower quality meat. Husband ordered the short rib, which was dry. Service was subpar. The view was outstanding, that is clearly why you come here. Not the food, especially after $200+.
Beautiful environment...great food, beautifully presented! Wonderful service - easily one of my favorite restaurants!
I would recommend 10-3 for the view and ambiance, not the food.
My husband and I went there for our wedding anniversary which we noted on our reservation but crickets from anyone at the restaurant. The only way to get to Ten3 is by taking The Sandia Peak Tram which was fantastic with great views but at $25 per person it would be great to get it discounted if eating at Ten3.
I really wanted to love the food. At $42 and $41 an entree, dinner should have been great but unfortunately it was not. My husband .had the paella and I had the short rib risotto. The Paella was super dry, and scallops not seared at all. My short rib was dry, unseasoned and risotto was hard. We asked our server if Chef J. Steve Brockman was cooking and told it was his day off. Maybe our food would have been better if he was there to make sure the food was cooked to a “seasoned” chef’s standard.
We want Ten3 to succeed and they will do well regardless but it would be great if they served out of this world delicious food to go with their out of this world high prices which would then meet patron’s expectations.
Everyone should go though because the Tram ride and views at the top are magnificent and ambiance in the bar and restaurant is great! We got lucky and got to see a paraglider jump off the mountain and fly down the valley — amazing!
We had a very disappointing experience for our anniversary. There were problems with both the food (refrigerator cold meat which was sent back), slow service, and wait staff that appeared unfamiliar with the menu and food and wine in general. Expected much more for the substantial price, which implies a fine dining experience. No manager appeared to be on site to handle problems.
Ride the tram and have a drink in the bar. That was wonderful! But, Avoid the restaurant.
Very nice place for a special occasion as everyone knows the prices are high. the only reason I didn't give him five stars is the bartender tried three times to make a mai tai but couldn't. I ended up with a margarita.
Only suggestion would be that if you’re going to require your guest to have a dress code you should probably NOT have your wait staff in blue jeans!?!? Takes away from the fine dining. Maybe black slacks, white shirt, and black tie.
Started at the bar. Service was not good at the bar tables, so moved to the bar stools. Much better. Dinner was at a nice window seat, thanks to advanced reservations. The food prices were comparable to local restaurants; I expected them to be much higher, so that was a pleasant surprise. You’ll invest $25 in a Tram ticket, so it’s nice they don’t gouge you at the top.
The ease of making a reservation and receiving the best table in the restaurant made this visit amazing! The food and drinks were delicious and the customer service was above and beyond. So excited for more night outs at Ten3. Thank you for a wonderful date night.
We loved Ten 3! We were welcomed immediately and the always smiling, friendly Shanisha did a wonderful job of taking our order and insuring that everything arrived at our table in a a timely manner. We both ordered the salmon, split the watermelon/strawberry salad along with a S'Mores dessert and all were absolutely outstanding. Our dinner plates had been heated before the food was placed on them and cold dinner forks were served with our dessert...both little touches that were appreciated. Add to that the gorgeous views and the impressive decor and comfortable chairs and you can't go wrong at Ten 3! We were a little concerned with some of the negative reviews posted here and are so glad we checked it out for ourselves since none of the issues that were posted in those were in evidence the evening we had dinner here. After our experience it is now tied for first place for us for a lovely dinner in Albuquerque!
ordered wine at the bar. They had a choice of two cabernets - both were sold out. Ordered two onion soup. That too was out too. There was one other entree that was no longer available. It was a birthday celebration and they knew about it. Even Denny;s would give a free desert. Not Ten 3. Bring back High Finance!!
We had a wonderful first experience at Ten3! I had the salmon and my husband had the lamb and they were both delicious and the portions were generous. The blue corn bread was a nice addition to the bread basket and the Shrimp Ceviche was a great appetizer! We were seated close to the kitchen and enjoyed watching them work while we waited on our meal. Ten 3 was a fun experience, and the only change I would make is possibly a discount on tram tickets with a reservation.
Definitely a place I'd recommend if you're looking for something different for a special occasion. The tram ride up is always breathtaking. Day or night the views are incredible. However, that being said it's a $50 added expense for two people to ride the tram round-trip, thus the reason you might save this place for a special occasion. The restaurant has a pleasing atmosphere and good menu selection. Food was not awesome, but not horrible. You are definitely paying more for the experience of eating at the top of the mountain. We may go back sometime for another special date. Most likely we'd go back if we had out of town guests who wanted to ride the tram and then maybe just get drinks and appetizers.
Beautiful atmosphere and great food. A little pricey for meals, but that is to be expected. Will definitely tell friends and family about good experience.
I couldn’t find a place to request seating by the window on the internet but when we got to ten 3 I asked if we could have a table by the window & the hostess checked & said a give us a few minutes to clean off the table & we had a great view. The food was really tasty & the ambiance was great. Waitress was attentive and pleasant.
Together with friends
Our experience was aligned to what we heard from the Tram operator on the way down. The staffing is limited Mon-Thur, compared to Fri & Sat. Although our server, Jamie V, was exceptionally outstanding, the kitchen made multiple mistakes and the beverage service was awful. Refills were only by request and once totally forgotten, having to ask the server for another beverage. The dining room was 50% occupied 6-8 pm, but felt as though the staff was overwhelmed. Other guests in the Tram car commented on how the busy bar was very slow due to only 2 bartenders also overwhelmed. My advice is to try Fri or Sat to hopefully get better service. Again, my server was awesome! The pork chops were a bit dry cooked at medium. The filet and salmon were better and nearby ribeyes looked delicious. The dessert menu has room for improvement and appears to have been created in a rush. The bread baskets and salted butter were a highlight of the entire meal, absolutely delicious. Kudos to whomever is responsible for the breads and accompanied butter. The chilled dessert spoons were also a pleasant surprise.
Very nice view and excellent service
Great views, great service, good drinks. Very pricey entrees, but very tasty (except for one grilled carrot that was completely charred yet inexplicably stilled served.) Lamb was most expensive yet had the smallest portion of our group's three entrees. Still a nice treat for special occasions.
Got lucky! Storm closed the Tram. Allowing us to take our time enjoying the view (a New Mexico thunderstorm from 10,300 feet), drinks, and food. Clementine was friendly. We enjoyed her spirit and recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful Anniversary dinner experience.
We went to celebrate our anniversary and could not have been more please for our date! It was one of the best nights we have been on in awhile! Great food, service, and ambiance! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion! I have seen reviews about people complaining about price but I thought it was well worth it for the whole package!
Love the elegance of the place, the view was gorgeous.
Great experience, but you pay for it---tram tickets on top of dinner. Fortunately, everything about the experience was outstanding! Great food, amazing location and building, great hospitality!
Food was over cooked. Waitress didn't check on us until we were done. Over priced. Not accommodating at all. Did not receive food per menu (no mashed potatoes).
Beautiful views, amazing food, excellent service. We had a table by the window that was breathtaking.
The food and drinks are fantastic. It's apparent that it's still a relatively new place (our drink menu was a cover only, no menu pages) and we had to wait for a table for our reservation (but not too long). Overall, this place is awesome. It would be nice to get a free/discounted tram ticket if you're going to drop $100/person (dinner, 2 drinks, tip and tax), but it's a great special occasion restaurant. Oh, and the views are killer.
This is definitely something to do while you are in Albuquerque.
Need a menu with more selections
Brussel sprouts were alittle hard. Overall
I would definitely return.
This is our second time to Ten-3. We were there opening night and had a reservation made for a Saturday a few weeks later to celebrate my husbands birthday. After opening night, we weren’t sure we’d go back, but we’re VERY glad we decided to give it a second chance. Our food came out perfect, the service has definitely improved, and our drinks were perfect. Our waiter was incredibly polite and knew what he was doing. I would’ve given five stars, but I feel we need to go one more time before I commit to a five star review.
It was a nice experience. Would have been amazing if the ladies checking customers in for the Tram were not so rude and condescending. One lady just gave us a lot of attitude. I understand that we all have our days but when you work customer service you need to learn how to suck it up and treat the customer with kindness and respect. Luckily my wife and I took a few deep breaths and shook it off. We had a great time on the Tram then at the top had a really good time while celebrating being happy in Love. Food was amazing and the service was great. I highly recommend it. When we were done the ride down was nice. Sadly the last thing we thought about was the lady that checked us in for the tram. The service at the bottom of the mountain didn’t reflect the service up top. (Kinda ghetto) My wife and I think that they should really do something to elevate how people are treated from the bottom up. The lady at the bottom put a sour taste in our mouths.
