We got there at 5:45. The restaurant was packed. They informed us they did not take reservations for that evening!! Why did Open Table take our reservation if reservations were not available that evening?!?!
We eat fresh-caught walleye all summer long, and I thought it would be good to try a possibly new (and good) recipe. However, the walleye looked (gray) and tasted OLD. We've eaten there several times before and never had any complaints, so it's just a reminder to not order the walleye.......
The food was good. The portions were on the smaller side, but still very fine. The service was marginal though. No one was rude, but service was limited (didn’t see our server more than ~4 times total) and slow. I was fine with the overall experience, but likely won’t go back.
We liked it. The food was good, the service friendly and the ambience is modern and comfortable. It has changed very much since we were here years ago.
Very good value for quality of food. Lunch Menu is pretty short, but nicely balanced for variety.
The house salad was hard to eat, a little too cute
Excellent food. Great service! No waiting :)
The noise ("music") from the adjacent area was MUCH better than before: we could actually hear ourselves talk!
Food was OK - certainly not gourmet, but it's what we'd hope for in a busy hotel catering to many needs/interests.
Server wasn't very polite and seemed rushed. No host, had to ask bartender for help. Booth seat to the table was very far. Plate of salad seemed very small and greens were falling off. Hotel is beautiful but our lunch experience was very unpleasant. Food was okay.
Great breakfast. Fun menu options.
This is a fine restaurant with outstanding service, fine wine and beer (many brew pubs represented), and an interesting range of choices (even buffalo wieners!). Seating is spacious and comfortable. Best of all, prices are reasonable. We'll go again!
Amanda, our server has a great personality and this carries through on the way she treats customers.
Always nice to be in your section Amanda!
For the price, NOT a good time. Seated quickly, server was attentive. A short drink was $11! I had the Buttermilk Chicken, which was too salty, and substituted asparagus for the side, which was very good. My friend had the pork chop, which was very good, but her risotto was horrible. Nothing appealed on the dessert menu. Too expensive for less than quality food!
No service. Asked for refill of water- none. Then suggested to be given a water pitcher for water- none. We had three at our table. 2 meals brought out. Third one was 10 min. Later! Server never came back. Had reservation , had to wait 20 min. Then we were seated in an area with at least 5 empty tables. Food was excellent though.
Food was excellent Service was fine but food took a VERY long time. One hour from sitting down to receiving food. It was New Year's Eve and very busy but we arrived an hour and forty five minutes before the concert and left ten minutes before the concert started.
Pleased with the food and wait staff but with Vikings fans and mn orchestra visitors and the Christian youth conference, the place was chaotic. Service was slow. Won’t hold it against them and will eat there again.
The staff and their service were excellent and the chef clearly knows what he's doing :)
Very nice. Staff was very helpful, food was great.
It is conveniently located across the street from Orchestra Hall where we were attending a Christmas concert after dinner. The waitress was very cordial and accommodating and gave us good tips on menu questions that we have. The food was very tasty and served at the right temperature. The prices are reasonable. The ambience is nice and it is not noisy. All in all, we will return.
Ordered at 8:10. Entrees arrived at 9:00. Appetizers arrived at 9:10. Service painfully slow. Entrees okay. Appetizers not. Will never eat there again.
We chose this place because it was very close to our office and we were in a hurry. We wanted a tasty but quick lunch.
As we walked up for our 11:30am reservation, the 3 people standing at the host station all walked away. We stood there for five minutes then walked in and asked a waitress to get the host (who was one of the 3 that walked away).
We were seated and it took another 10 minutes for someone to come over and offer drinks. He took our order and it took 30 minutes to get our food. I mention that because we had two bowls of soup and two salads, and a 2-item - charcuterie tray.
The food portions were very small. The watercress salad was bitter. The pepper/tomato soup was lukewarm. The charcuterie tray was 5 thin slices of cheese the size of a triscuit and 2 slices of bison sausage the size of a quarter that I couldn't cut with my fork.
We were there 11:30a until 1pm on a weekday and there were no more than four tables with people the entire time we were there. We all left hungry and in agreement we would not be back.
Hangar steak was fantastic. Ten 01 Steak (for almost double the price) was over-cooked and the salt overpowered everything else. Everyone else said their meals were too salty as well. Service was great.
Great location, close to orchestra hall for really good food.
Slow food delivery, cold, muddy sauce on grim veggies.
We had good service and good food. We will return.
This was my first experience and it was a business lunch. The menu options were varied. The items we ate were prepared as requested and were good! The location is good as well - you could walk from almost anywhere downtown. Lastly, the service was fantastic!
I picked this restaurant because of it's new-ness and proximity to Orchestra Hall. I saw it had been remodeled and was excited about going there -- We ended up VERY disappointed . . .
> the waitress was trying to keep up but appeared to have too many tables
> they ran out of the item my husband ordered and he had to choose something else
> they brought out our entrees before our appetizer, so they took them back but it was VERY evident that they put the plates under the heat lamps and I ended up with dried out fish
> both plates were a very messy presentation and the veggies on both plates were overcooked - having sat under the heat lamp
> we were overcharged for our appetizer - only by $1.00 but still overcharged
> we didn't have a chance to raise any of these issues that night or we would have been late for our concert
Nice lunch after the morning Orchestra concert. Braised venison was new on the menu and was very good.
We've been to this place before. In each case our attendance was dictated by the closeness of the café to Orchestra Hall and for no other reason. We enjoyed our pre-concert dinners at Harmony much better that the current place.
While the place was beautifully designed and comfortable, the food and service is in need of improving. The only reason we were there was the close proximity to Orchestra Hall.
The service and the food are amazing. It's relaxing and I enjoyed every meal.
Our first visit. Food was ok. Most ordered burgers on, what I thought, was a somewhat limited menu, so did not really test their preparation and creativity. Service was attentive. Will probably go back
Great food and excellent service.
The new Ten 01 Social replaced an awesome SkyWater restaurant in the MSP Downtown Hilton unsuccessfully. Menu is on the edge and should be pushed off to take it out of its misery. The burger I settled for was good but was looking for bigger variety to choose from. Service was very slow for not being very busy - and server absent for long periods. Find someplace else - I know I will!!!
Food was very good, and Tracy was beyond profesional.
A nicely renovated space which was open and fresh. Many different seating options-- bar, restaurant, lounge chairs, group tables . The menu was not large, but it was appealing. What we ordered was very nice. A great spot for before or after the symphony.
Good cocktails, good service, and good food. Dominick and Jordan treated me very well.
