Tempo Urban Bistro
Such a great place!!! For the Quality of the food the prices are GREAT!!! Chicken Marsala was soooo good and the PEAR martini was yummy and not watered down! I Will be a regular now for sure!
Brought our family to enjoy one of our favorite places for lunch. It was not busy, food took forever, and Reuben sandwich was burnt. Waitress seemed to disappear when we wanted napkins or drink refills. Did not live up to previous experiences. Very disappointing.
Happy hour was average. Short rib nachos were good , The octopus salad was tough and not fresh. Five dollar house was fair . The place is average
We love this restaurant. Food and service are excellent. Good value for the money. Nice to sit outside.
Food was excellent. Everyone at our table of 6 had something different and everyone loved their meal. Service was just ok, but not up to my expectations.
The food and prices are upscale but the ambience is not. Excellent food though.
Tempo is quickly becoming one of our favorite West Valley restaurants. We've eaten both lunch and dinner there and have never been disappointed. Excellent beer and wine selection. I highly recommend the grilled meatloaf.
I love this restaurant. The menu is unique and I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal. The owners live in the community and it is nice to see the restaurant do well.
A group of 8 and everyone's first time at Tempo. Most ordered different meals and all were outstanding!!!!! Everyone recommended that if we came back....we should order what they got. It was Sat night with live music, so expected it to be loud....but music was so good it didn't bother us. We will certainly go back!!!!
Way too loud inside. Sirloin was tough and uneatable. Waiter promptly replaced entre with substitute offering. Off night for me as last two prior exoeriences were superb.
Great place to hang out with friends and family. Live music on Saturday nights is awesome.
Absolutely wonderful. Finding a date for next visit.
Great ambience with terrific food and service. We sat on patio with great people-watching. Nice menu and wine options. I will definitely be back.
We take all our out-of-town guests to Tempo Urban Bistro, and are never disiappointed!
Great dinner with exceptional service!
We had out of town companies and we all loved our dinners. Excellent evening & great service.
The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the service was great! The food was awful. My Sea Bass was under cooked, the rice was clumped together and the cheesecake was frozen. Very disappointing meal.
We been to Tempo Bistro several times and always excellent. Had out of town guests and raved about the place and their good French fries, however, yesterday they were under cooked and not up to their usual standards. To top that, our friend ordered a turkey burger which arrived very rare and had to be sent back. Doesn't it always happen when you rave about a place to strangers and things happen out of the norm.
We’ve had many visits to Tempo and this was another successful evening. Their bruschetta never disappoints with several excellent choices in flavor and very generous portions especially considering we got the happy hour portions. My first time with lasagna and it was excellent as well. Very pleasant and perfectly attentive servers, and fast service. Very nice as a casual but slightly upscale experience.
Our server was excellent. Very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. The food was wonderful. Overall a great experience.
I rate the ambiance 5* because we sat outside on the patio. It wasn't crowded and we had a nice table. The inside is not quite the same ambiance...
Service was prompt, polite and appropriately helpful. Our table was ready and we got just the right amount of help from our server in making our decisions. The wine and small plate special was excellent for a starter, dinner was delicious and we never felt rushed. We look forward to bringing friends along the next time.
This is a great place! We took our kiddos there and ate outside. Our waitress was very good, had great recommendations and was sweet to my busy toddler twins. The food was fresh, came out of the kitchen hot, and very tasty. Definitely going back next time were in town.
The seared scallops plate was very skimpy. There were 6 scallops, which was good, but very skimpy on what was served with it. The menu said, "sweet potato puree" and "quinoa with tart apple salad". There was only about 1 teaspoon of the puree and only about 1/4 cup of the quinoa and tart apple salad. That's all there was on my plate for $25. Very disappointing. Other guests at the table were happy with their meals. I should mention that the noise level was extremely high. Don't expect to carry on any conversations at this place!
The much vaunted veal meatballs were nothing spectacular....bland marinara sauce. Would have been better with "Classico" herbs and spice sauce. the veal meatballs were not spiced, but were free of gristle and moderately soft. The shaved cheese on top the only saving grace. The "wedge" salad was truly 1/4 wedge iceberg with lots of fun things including 1 heirloom grape sized tomato split in half. The "crispy" onions were out of a can....NOT fried there. The scallops were very tasty. The windowed garage doors lead to an inviting patio/street dining area. If you ask for a "booth" it is one strip of soft couch on the right with cushioned chairs.... all of the other tables have nice wooden chairs with no cushions. Tables = no tablecloths or candles or flowers...
Loved it, always good! Our waiter did a wonderful job.
Fun and relaxing. Our go to option in Verrado!
Didn't like the room we were seated in. Otherwise great
Food was good if not special. We waited an hour for food. The menu had too many options.
Very noisy but food was good and service great.
Celebrating a birthday with family they were very helpful in trying to make our 99year old mother comfortable. And all of us thought the food was terrific!
5 star awesome as always. :) I love this place. The short ribs were astoundingly good.
My husband and I LOVE Tempo. Our experiences from the first visit about 6 months ago to the most recent visit this week have been exceptional. Wait staff is friendly, knowledgeable of the food and wine menu, and ready to please. I took my 96 year old mom there to celebrate a birthday...they were accommodating to her walker, noise placement and didn’t wince at our “sharing” an entree (she eats very little). Nick, our waiter, was patient with her and bent down so she could hear him instead of directing the conversation to me. That gave her the independence to control her order - so important. And...she LOVED his recommendation for the lemon cake, eating every bite on her own. (Sweet tooth extraordinaire) Edgar, one of our favorite waiters, made a point to say hello, chat a moment and wish us a Merry Christmas. The food is fantastic and fresh. We love the seasonal offerings Chef creates for the regular and special event menus. It’s become our go-to spot!
Hadn't been to Tempo for a while and forgot what a delightful dining experience it was. We'll go again!
We’re big fans (and frequent visitors) of Tempo. The pasta bolognese this time was heavy on the sauce and very thin on the pasta - a surprise since most everything is exceptional. Highly recommend this gem in Verrado though.
It was fantastic I will always go back.
Love the menu and the variety. The Veal Meatballs are to die for!
We arrived early for dinner at 5 and learned that Tempo has a great tapas hour between lunch and dinner. So we ordered chips and salsa, flat bread and drinks while we decided on dinner. For dinner we ordered the Kolbe burgers, Shepards pie and the Bronzino and all was very good. If we had room we would have ordered the ample chocolate fudge layer cake to share. Next time!
The meals were tasty with nice presentation! Our server was exceptional!! Even though it was quite busy, she was always available and checked on us frequently!!👍👍
We heard good reviews about Tempo from friends and are looking for good restaurants in the West valley, but we must have caught them on a bad night. We went to celebrate a birthday, just 4 of us. It started off well...easy parking, seated right away, welcoming hostess and server. The ambiance is very nice.... industrial yet warm. The service was very good and the menu was interesting. Three of us ordered pasta dishes and the 4th person ordered meatloaf. All 4 of us we’re disappointed with our food. Two of the pastas were watery and tasteless as if the noodles weren’t drained well. The other pasta was drowned in sauce. The meatloaf was so-so. Overall, all our dinners were rather tasteless. We wanted so much to like this place. We’re chalking it up to a bad night for the chef and we may come back for lunch.
