Overall enjoyable,music nice,outdoor seating
All food with appetizers, salad came out at once,
Ordered oysters and clams, very disappointing, they were micro size. Not worth it. If your going to serve food, then serv food. Waiter was cordial and polite ,attentive. Overall ok/good will go back but not frequently.
The staff was outstanding!!! The only thing I was disappointed with was the beef on weck roll. It was a hamburger bun with too much salt and caraway seed, need to scrape it off. The bun became soggy and falling apart . On the other hand the Steamed clams were absolutely delicious
It took a longtime to get our food and to get seated but that’s just what you need to be prepared for eating out anywhere these days. I couldn’t think of a better place to sit around and wait for my food! Our server was awesome! Food was great as well.
Will not go back . They were not prepared for the reservations they had. We ordered our appetizers (soup) and entries at the same time . After an hour of waiting we only had silverware. When we ordered We were told our entries would take over 45 minutes to get due to not enough staff in kitchen. The table next to us got their entries an hour after they were ordered. They never received the appetizers they ordered. . When we told out server we were leaving he seemed relived. The room was warm . Seemed like the air conditioning was not working well. Just because they are one of the only restaurants on the water does not give them an excuse for poor management. It is no wonders this restaurant has gone under do many times!
Went to dinner with a reservation for 6:15, we were seated at 6:10. Server was decent but not very attentive. 20 minutes later our drink order was taken. 10 minutes after that we ordered our appetizer and entrees. An hour and a half later no food, no semblance of a manager trying to manage expectations… server came over apologized for the delay an hour past our order. Extremely disappointed. Left after 2 hours and watching for couples leave as well after they had been seated after us with no service either. Finally gave up with no food.
The place is in a perfect location. The location advertised Happy hour in the lounge, patio and dining however they did not offer it any where except the lounge. The bartender also often charged people full price.
The woman bathroom has dust on the molding and was out of paper towels. The landscaping could be touched up
Totally revamped recipes. Everything was delicious and the views are still amazing. Staff was friendly and we received great treatment.
Drinks were slow to come out. One drink was not the one we ordered and they were not quick to offer them to make the correct one. We went during happy hour, when the check came they charged regular price for more than half of what was ordered. They went to fix it and still came back with a check over charging us. On the third try it was right. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and had maybe three bites, was the worst I’ve ever had. View was nice but horrible experience.
The view from the patio is always amazing. The fish fry is always so good and enormous! However, this time our piece was smaller than usual but it still tasted great. I am defiantly a regular customer based off of food quality taste and awesome selectin of adult beverages.
We had only drinks, so no food. Servers consistently checked up on us. The patio is beautiful!
We ate on the waterfront. Accommodated our seating request if we would wait 15 minutes after our reservation time. The food was delicious.
Our waiter was very inattentive, our food was dropped off at the table, waiter stating I’ll be right back with your fish… 10 minutes later we asked another waiter to send him to the table. About five minutes later he comes back saying yeah, sorry, your fish fell on the floor and they have to start all over… The manager was wonderful, comped the fish and also bought us drinks. Overall he made the experience much better, and the ambience is always beautiful.
Great view, great meal & great service! Even though we couldn't enjoy outside dining, inside was very nice.
The service wasn’t bad, the waiter was nice and mostly on top of it. The food wasn’t as good as I expected to be, I ordered the pan-seared perch, the Parmesan fries were not good, the rest was OK. The layout and atmosphere were excellent. I wouldn’t recommend them for their food but I would recommend them for the scenery and atmosphere if you like being by the water and such.
My Sons 16th Birthday. Everything went very well.
I was told I didn’t have to wear a mask if I was vaccinated, which I am.. so I took off my mask... on the way out of ladies room I was told by the hostess that I had to wear one??? While other people walked by her maskless?? By the hostess .. I felt I was singled out? Made no sense...FOOD WAS EXCELLENT! Service was EXCELLENT!
This establishment does not honor the reservations booked through open table. The host and managers attitude literally suck. I made reservations a week in advance because we have a baby at home and kind of on a time crunch to get there and it’s 45 minute wait. Don’t even waste your time - it’s a joke.
It was not what i thought it would be! The artichoke dip was very good to say the least!
I don't think the kitchen and bar are ready yet for the 2021 season. Everything took too long, including even drinks and just the bread that was offered after we arrived, but only got to us about an hour later after repeated question with the entrees. Our server seemed to be stuck with the problems in the kitchen and bar, although he could have been more on top of solving the problems.
The food was good, meaning wings, clam chowder, wild mushrooms with salmon entree and perch entree. Couldn't taste rum in the rum and coke.
Had a reservation but when arrived, the guy at the front desk said table wouldn’t be ready for at least a half hour maybe longer. So we left
Overpriced and wait was ridiculous with reservations. Order was not correct. First time there and was sadly disappointed. Will not return.
We we very excited to come to this restaurant until we ended up waiting an hour and a half for our appetizers. To show up, and then our meals came 20 minutes after. Our waiter Ali was absolutely *GREAT* however, service from the back was very slow. Not sure if I’d go back to be honest, it seemed understaffed to begin with.
Restaurant has a good view of the harbor. Our server was very good and helpful. The menu is limited due to then reopening just in the last couple weeks. The drinks were quite expensive. The food was okay our calamari was very chewy, my wife was finding bones in her fish nearly every bite and my salmon was okay nothing spectacular. Overall the food was okay but definitely not worth the price.
Awesome food- waiter was great- view was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed myself
Loved loved loved this place! We went at 5:30 so noise level was pretty low since not too many people were there. But service was fast! And our server was so attentive and nice. We were seated inside as it was about 60 degrees and a little windy outside. But the view was great! Loved the alcoholic drink called the Miami Vice. Will be back again to hopefully sit outside!
The fish fry and white sangria were both delicious!
Menu was concise however my shellfish appetizers were top notch and my Ribeye Steak was out of this world.
Our 25th anniversary of wedding
Amazing food and view. Ask for Kim! She’s the best:)
Loved that they had a menu of hand helds for lite meal or higher end menu for nice evening meal.
Great food, great service! Even though is was raining and we were inside we had a nice view of the lake.
While the food and venue was great, we were disappointed in Templeton Landing. Before we went, we checked out the menus online as we always do. Upon arriving though, we were told - albeit by our very nice server - that there were only 3 out of the 6 listed beers on tap, there were no specials, and that there were no frozen drinks (also on the menu) as they had started to shut that down for the season.
All of that said, the venue itself is really nice. Even though it was raining the waterfront view was great.
Our soups and entrees tasted great, and the service was solid.
After dinner, we were told that they only had 2 of the 6 desserts that were shown on the online menu, which was disappointing. At this point, it felt like they were doing us a favor by being open for us to dine there, with the less-than-stated beers, desserts, frozen drinks, and no specials. It wasn't a great feeling. I wonder if they're struggling.
Overall we are glad we went but won't be in a hurry to go back.
My boyfriends birthday
Waited too long to get a drink order taken(20+minutes). Just as long to get a poor drink. Bartender didn’t know how to make a good martini.
3 of 4 served dinner, took 10 minutes to learn 4th dinner they were out of.
Four of us had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. We started off on the patio. The chairs all had cobwebs under them and needed a good cleaning. It started to rain so we luckily ended up inside at a high top table near the bar. We each ordered a different cocktail. They were all good. I ordered the fish tacos and liked them. I requested a swap for the accompanying nachos to french fries. Although the waitress didn’t seem like it would be allowed, the French fries arrived with my tacos. The fries were really good. One of my friends ordered the nachos but didn’t eat many. The cheese on them was extremely salty and they were not very appetizing, although the platter was huge. We ordered one dessert, the key lime pie. It was excellent and we later learned that it was made at the Village Bake Shop in Lewiston. Overall, the food was good, but I’m not sure this is a place I’d go out of my way for a repeat visit. They have a wonderful patio with a lot of potential if only it was better cared for.
We had a nice time, sat outside by the water and enjoyed the entertainment by the fire. We would return.
Excellent broiled fish. Beautiful sunset view. Phenomenal music on the patio by Chris Borgatti and friends playing some oldies and my favorite DMB. Thank you for a memorable night.
Templeton Landing has a great view of the waterfront and is good in every respect except for the noise level, which is discouraging for folks with hearing problems.
9/10/19 - Dinner for 4. Beautiful evening on the terrace. Doesn’t get any better. What a night!
Enjoyed Happy Hour drinks and appetizers. I had oysters on the half shell. Very good. My wife had French Onion soup. Unfortunately it was cool, not piping hot as it should be served.
Drinks were good. Wine pours generous. We stuck with happy hour specials. All good.
Blacken Salmon fillet was excellent. Served with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. All excellent. Good portion.
Others had Cobb salad, beef on wick and a fish dish. All very good.
Dessert was carrot cake split 4 ways. Very good.
We will return.
Brought parents before a concert. Server was great
