Food was exceptional. Service was good. The restaurant seems to have an issue with different water requests, maybe using different glasses for sparkling vs still would alleviate the confusion.
We have been to temple court a few times and really love it. We were having a cousins reunion and needed a place to go, we chose to come back and recommend it to the 2 other couples! They loved it as much as we do. The staff was friendly, service amazing and the food great! Thanks
Was disappointed. Food was served lukewarm. The service was slow. I expected more from a Colicchio restaurant.
wait staff was superb. the food delicious .. a wonderful time was had ..
The physical space is both historic and so very handsome. I was disappointed that my salmon had been sauteed, leaving it with an unfortunate oily taste. Other than that, the food was excellent.
Celebrated our first wedding anniversary and they couldn’t have made it more special.. highly recommend!!
Really gorgeous restaurant, great service and delicious food. Only problem was that I didn't have room for dessert. Will have to go back!
Me encantaron dos ambientes. Nos atendieron muy bien. Pato y pollo estaban deliciosos. Postre de higo fue sobresaliente. Decoración espectacular
45 mins after we ordered we asked the waiter why it was taking so long and we learned they “lost” our order. Very apologetic but then took 30 mins longer to get our appetizers.... after finishing those we wanted another 30 mins and they had to check on the kitchen again... still no entree. Told them multiple times that we were running out of time and had to leave... didn’t matter. Finally after nearly two hours had to leave; no lunch.
Excellent food and service.
Becky was 5 star
Fabulous restaurant. Best night out in a long time. Waiter was fantastic!
Food was great, service was very very slow. Would have ordered dessert but just took too long for server to checked back. Drinks took forever. Not clear the excuse, wasn't that busy.
Beautiful room food nice service inattentive very disappointing
Thank you Temple Court team for this wonderful time with you. See you soon m
Love the atmosphere (upscale retro), love the architecture (fabulous, especially the atrium), love the service (extremely professional but friendly), love almost all of the food. The desserts were a bit of a disappointment.
Amazing vibe and ambiance, good service, very low quality food
The food and atmosphere were wonderful. The service was generally ok.
Beautiful restaurant, not a normal hotel restaurant. The service was excellent. Great menu.
They treated us exceptionally well, even though our reservation was late (and one of our party was later still). No one hovered over us trying to encourage us to get out (and it was a late night for them, I'm sure). The food is exceptional and we had a wonderful time—it was a splurge for us and I still recommend it highly!
Food is pretty good overall. Some dishes like the pasta were better than others. Service was extremely slow. We were seated 15 mins late and spent almost two hours there. We only ordered entrees and dessert.
I had my birthday dinner with friends at The Temple Court and everything was amazing: service, food, staff...
We will definitely be back...
Gorgeous surroundings, delicious food and very good service. Will definitely go again
Loved the look and feel of this restaurant. The bar area was gorgeous. Our server was kind, helpful and efficient. I gave the food a less than outstanding grade because the chicken listed on the menu did not mentioned that it was a smokey-grilled chicken which would not have been something we ordered.
Everything was spot on ! Our sever was great and the food was amazing. Looking forward to going back . especially for the dessert
Everyone at Temple Court was amazing and made our experience at the restaurant truly memorable. Special thanks to Jose and the chef! The food was delicious!
I always had great experience at Temple Court.( 5 times ).....from front hostess, service , food...but Sept 4 , Thursday was NOT at all favorable. It will take me a long time to go back .
Fantastic food, service, and ambiance.
Outstanding service, food, and atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back again.
They made my birthday very special. I will definitely be back with more friends!
What s fantastic restaurant! The food was amazing. I had the swordfish and my girls had the steak. Simply incredible!!! Michael was one of the best servers I’ve ever encountered!!! 5 stars all the way!
Everyone was wonderful and accommodating. The food was superb, the corkage reasonable, the front desk and waitstaff were welcoming and professional. The personal touches for an anniversary celebration were unexpected and delightful.
Can't beat the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. The best restaurant in the Financial District. If you want to experience the ambiance of yesteryear in NewYork and want perfectly executed food, Temple Court is the restaurant you're looking for.
The service started poorly with a sour-faced hostess who sat us and then walked off without a word. Then, we never got the amuse bouche that everyone else in the restaurant received, then we sat around waiting for our entrees, all the while our server would look at us but didn’t come over to say anything. Then, he comes over and starts exchanging our cutlery for dessert spoons and says “oh, I’m so sorry for the delay- I thought you were waiting for entrees but you’re having dessert now” to which I reply, “umm, no, we haven’t had our entrees yet.” He gives us our cutlery back and apologizes and runs away. Then he comes back and tells us our food will be right out but- surprise! It’s another 15-20 minutes. Then we wait another 20 minutes for dessert after we finish entrees. I think it was someone’s last night at the restaurant in the kitchen, there must have been a party going on back there. No real apology, no offer of a comped drink, no nothing. Not even a “have a nice night” on the way out. Crappy service, and we were quiet and polite. Meanwhile, the table full of drunk, demanding monsters (I mean, one of them left the table to order a drink from the bar to bring back to the table- that’s how drunk they were!!) next to us got everything they wanted, quickly, and the couple next to us who were seated AFTER us got all of their food BEFORE us. Real shame- the food was great.
My wife and were at Temple Court during restaurant week. What was really nice is that the whole menu was just restaurant week's selection. And the selection was varied compared to other restaurants during restaurant week. The service was excellent. The mussel appetizer was quite spicey but the spiceyness was short lived and didn't disrupt the palette from enjoying the rest of the meal. The gnuri was delicate and flavorful.
The hanger steak was superb. Although while the portion size was perfect for me, I'm sure real steak eaters would think it was on the lighter side. The snapper was very good and plentiful. Desserts were decadent!
Let me start with, food was delicious! Besides that everything else was a complete joke. The hostess greeted us and didn’t make eye contact once. Then as we stood there 20 minutes to be seated, mind you we arrived a couple of minutes prior to our reservation. The restaurant was 2/3 full. Our server never bought us our drinks, the app was bought out quickly however we waited 45 minutes then we tried to get the attention of staff no one makes eye contact. Then we tried to get the attention of the managers several times however they were busy taking selfies! It looked like there were three managers but it could have been one of them was just a host. Either way after I walked up to someone they finally bought us our entrees after about 55 after the app was served. Then we were ignored for another 30 minutes, no one check on us NOTHING! We finally got the check with the drinks we never received still on it. The FOH staff are all horrible at what they do, not one person makes eye contact and how does not one person realize there is a two top just sitting there staring at them for attention? Never ever again!
It was our first time to dine here at Temple Court. It is a beautifully decorated restaurant. We were taking advantage of Restaurant Week.
My entree was the salmon which also included three mussels. Salmon was cooked perfectly. I like mine done well. The other entrees of tuna salad and skate were also enjoyed.
Desserts of peach melba and baked Alaska were delicious as was the proffered glass of red wine.
Service was attentive but not bothersome. One thing I really like and notice is that my water glass was never below half.
Food wasn’t as good as the previous night visit but overall this place is great with friendly service and inventive drinks. I will definitely return to sample their regular menu
Been coming her for the past 2yrs, food always delicious and taste even better with the ambience and best service.
Food was delicious and ambience was on point. I can’t wait to go back
