Very nice dinner experience and helped set a great mood for me and my girlfriend. Highly recommend.
Lovely restaurant! Ambiance was excellent, especially for a special occasion. My only complaint was how long we had to wait despite arriving on time for our reservation. Excellent service otherwise!
Beautiful decor and ambiance, service was great, food was notably good, would recommend to friends overall.
Every piece of food and drink were superb. The staff was friendly. We felt a little out of place the night we went, as the crowd was more over 50 year old sophisticates, intellectuals and business men.
It was my friend’s birthday. They called for a confirmation and asked for the name of the birthday boy to “make sure that they highlight it.” because I put in the reservation that it was a celebration dinner. And we didn’t even get a candle on the dessert that we ordered. It was quite weird that they just ignored it.
What a great experience, awesome service from the hostess, servers. All are personable. Beautiful place. We will come back again and again. The food was very delicious!
Lovely brunch, would have expected a little better service as we waited to get cocktails for quite some time—they said they were missing an ingredient but I would have preferred they suggest an alternative vs. waiting for 20 mins.
What a hidden gem. My sister and I were starving and there was a table available at the time we wanted. When we walked in the staff was friendly and our Hostess shared the amazing history of the place. Would definitely go back.
The tasting menu was very good. Beautiful atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit
came for my husband's birthday, it was a fantastic spot.
The food was great, but portion size a little inconsistent. Some of them were generous and others (apps) were a couple of bites!
Service started out strong, and while everyone was nice, dishes were not cleared in a timely way (or the bussers were too aggressive, even trying to take away my plate as I was still eating!) and the longer we were there, the slower our server was to attend to us.
Overall, it is a great environment with interesting decor and an appetizing menu, but I would have expected a little more from a restaurant of this caliber.
Skate was a little salty, but other than that, the prix fix meal was overall very tasty and the portions were fair. Love the ambiance and the service was attentive.
Excellent on every level.
The food was sublime; the atmosphere a kind of vintage NYC - dark and moody. Fantastic when the weather is cold. Service can vary - but mostly very good. Subtle touches made for an amazing birthday dinner for my wife.
Went with some friends and it was really great with the live music, Christmas tree and the ambience.
Very nice space, super attentive service. Great food. High NYC prices but loved it.
The ambiance and decor of Temple Court are top-notch. The food however needs improvement. For the price of each item, I expect more flavor. The Burrata was tasteless and needed more citrus than the flavorless heirloom squash. The Oyster Rockefeller was good. The Monkfish Osso Bucco was interesting but was too salty. The Duck L'orange was better with the crispy skin and balsamic vinegar sauce. I loved the aioli sauce with orange rind.
It was just truly amazing. Steak was totally awesome. Ambience, service and food are just top notch. There is a cake carry in charge (more than 20 dollars) and I was informed about only after we celebrated a member’s birthday with a carry in cake so and that was not so good..but I wasn’t so upset because everything else was perfect
Birthday dinner with my husband. We really enjoyed it!
The decor and ambiance is very nice. Has an old library feel to it with bookshelves included. Service was attentive. Food portions were on the small side and pricey. Seasoning was ok. Would come back but not in an empty stomach.
I come for drinks at the bar and/or meals at the restaurant. The wine selection is incredible and the food never disappoints. Been here alone, with friends and family, my bf... and always had a pleasant and lovely experience. Highly recommend the Gnudi, Duck and Baked Alaskan.
The restaurant and bar ambiance is just what we wanted- beautiful and lively! The place was very busy so service was slow and sloppy in the bar area. We had a reservation for 6 pp at 845 pm and were sat at a very large (too large for conversation) wooden table, minus the table cloth that was on the surrounding tables. Service was ok, slightly miseducated on the menu, but overcame with two amuse Bouche appetizers for the table. Food was mediocre at best. Highly recommend bar and apps, skip the sit down dinner for this price range.
Lovely evening and the place was hopping!! Service could be a little more “on it”
Nice atmosphere in a beautiful hotel. Food is delicious and substitutions were made to orders which is always nice. My only complaint is that the service is quite slow. Some people enjoy that as they want to linger and not be rushed, but I felt a little forgotten about - coffee and dessert were not offered, they just brought our bill, which is a little awkward when dining clients.
Food and service didn’t match up to price. Disappointed. What is with babies and small children dining at 9PM? While the restaurant can’t control that aspect, it killed the dining experience.
Its a wonderful setting for any meal or just for drinks. Service is professional and the menu provides some twists on the usual, such as grilled Caesar salad. The décor is special as well, mixing vintage and modern.
The overall experience is just great! I will definitely comeback and highly recommend anyone wants to have dinner here.
nice menu selection, but no flavor. nothing memorable.. small and pricey wine list. the hostesses polite but aloof. were the first in the dining room and was offered and undesirable table and settled for a secondary banquette. no, i would not go back.
The jazz singers are phenomenal and they accompany the food graciously and elegantly — definitely a set up to keep - we are coming back every other week end
Was a very good experience except the side dishes were very small for what you charge. We will try again.
We had a reservation for 5 and once we were seated, we waited over an hour for our breakfast of eggs, toast, and waffles- all very straightforward orders. The eggs then arrived cold. I would not recommend this restaurant if you plan on eating in a timely fashion.
Super slow- not ideal for a large party
We came here for a 'friends reunion' dinner. Service was very cordial although a bit unpracticed (i.e. serving soup but forgetting a spoon, etc.). Food was very good - not over the top amazing but certainly very good. We had the tasting menu with wine pairings. Often, we had to ask what the wine being poured was or for some details about it. Usually for a pairing the information is given when the wine is poured. If you are far downtown, this is a great spot to hit. We didn't use the bar but it seemed very lively and had a happy vibe.
Another delicious meal. The service was impeccable. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about wine and ingredients in each appetizer and entree we asked about. A special thanks to Mathew Feldman, General Manager, a true asset to the restaurant.
Had been here for lunch a few times and loved it! Went for dinner on Friday and the service was awful. We actually had to have someone get the waitress so we could order. They tried to take dishes away while one in our party was still eating. The food was average - overpriced for the quality.
Lunch menu is much better!
There were absolutely lovely, beautiful ambience, and have delicious food. Thank you.
Food good, service very unprofessional.
Recently was there for lunch with some friends. The squash bisque with smoked mussles was served luke warm by the time it came to the table. Skate main dish was excellent. Service was very disorganized and haphazard . Nice enough setting but elevator type pop music was annoyingly loud.
The food was great and so were the portions. It definitely lacked ambiance/energy
