Excellent whole fish and completed deboned. Grilled squash needs to be tasted.
Thanksgiving
Great space, great service, food was very good, would be nice to have more than one vegetarian option at a cosmopolitan restaurant in NYC at this level. It's a shame, I have no problem with the $600 bill for 4, but if my wife only has only one choice of main course it's off the list.

We loved the restaurant. It was a Birthday dinner and the signed souvenir menu is a lovely touch.
The food and service were exceptional.
Average food, poor service, I expected more, but at least I gave it two dining attempts since I love the hotel and atmosphere. The hotel should really try to allow another chef a go at this location, one that compares to the food quality of Augustine.
Food iwas amazing. Very innovative cuisine, presented beautifully. Service is polite and very knowledgable. Love it.
Last night of a weekend in NY with my wife. Not bad not great. Service hit or miss depending on the individual and food just average. Much better to be had at the same price in NY.
Stunning setting -- and what bliss to be able to hear ourselves speak! Kudos to Temple Court for figuring out how to manage noise levels. And it was fairly busy, especially taking into account that it was a November Sunday evening in the Wall Street neighborhood. Service was impeccable, and as wine lovers we very much appreciated the Sunday evening BYOB option. Perfect place for a special occasion, a business lunch or dinner, or just a wonderful evening of great food, wine and conversation with friends. We will be back!
The service and attention to detail was impeccacble. Will definitely be returning!
We went for our 25th, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer, acknowledging our celebration throughout the night, and presenting us with a signed copy of the menu. Temple Court, inside the historic Beekman Hotel, is a gorgeous combination of romantic, eclectic, and old-world charm. The food is classic with a touch of adventurous without straying. Simple mashed potatoes are silky, creamy and flavorful. The halibut is golden outside and moist inside, while the un-classic Duck à l’Orange is satisfying, yet needed a helping of those mashed potatoes to enhance the experience. Magnificently prepared cocktails and extensive wine list offer delicious support. Their version of Baked Alaska, is a smaller, attractive version of the classic but no less satisfying. This place is an experience for all the senses as even the musical selection and volume is absolutely on point.
Temple Court exceeded any and all expectations. Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday & the attention to detail from the moment we arrived was outstanding. The service was very professional and on point and the staff signed menu was a nice touch. The food was delicious and the atmosphere only enhanced our experience.
Great food, service and atmosphere. A little noise bleeds in when you sit at the first table in the dining room by the opening to the bar area, but it is still quieter than most restaurants. You can actually hear the music in the room which is very nice.
Loved the hangar steak! Had a lovely dinner - very nice ambiance
They did a fantastic job on the food and service. They even have us a signed menu for our anniversary.
I went to Temple Court for the first time, and had the most wonderful experience. The dining room is absolutely gorgeous. I enjoyed the Waldorf salad, the halibut and the apple pie. Everything was delicious. My server Matt was outstanding and made sure that everything was perfect. He's one of the best servers I've ever had. I look forward to going back!
Delicious food, beautiful setting and very good service. Would definitely recommend. Not cheap, but worth the money for such a lovely evening.
Thank you for a wonderful experience. Truly a gem in the downtown area.
It’s not surprising that Temple Court has such a great reputation for fine dining. It lived up to our expectations in every way. We enjoyed professional and attentive service. Our meals (Pork Chop and Hanger Steak Dianne) were prepared perfectly. The restaurant atmosphere is both elegant and comfortable. We look forward to a return visit!
Excellent good value lunch with very good service
beautiful spot, service could be better, but not bad; food was good
The service was excellent, attentive. The décor was old world charm. The food was a bit eclectic and pricey but good. I would recommend a few more staples on the menu, though, like a good steak, which they had as a special for $75(pricey as I said) and some different fish dishes. but overall a nice experience.
Temple Court does not disappoint. We had six people with a broad range of tastes and one with significant allergies and the care and attention of our server was superb. The food was fresh and well prepared in a natural farm to table style. Definitely one of my go tos in NYC.
We went for dinner here during our holiday to New York. The bar and dining area were lively, and we had high expectations of the food. We had pork terrine and mixed leaves to start, the bread with the terrine was so hard I thought I might break my teeth. The mixed leaves which came with champagne vinaigrette seemed to be lacking any champagne. We then both ordered the steak, which was 3 small pieces of steak each, 3 potatoes and a lot of wild mushroom, which overpowered the dish. Very disappointing for a $38 main each. We skipped dessert and returned to our hotel. Overall very disappointing and we wouldn’t return.
Wonderful meal, perfectly prepared. Service was very attentive. Only minor concern...booth/banquette a little too soft & squishy, hard to snuggle up to table. But, as I said, MINOR! Great experience!
We were looking for a new favorite restaurant in our neighborhood and we think that we found it: The food was very good (with one exception, see below), the service was excellent, and the ambiance very pleasant. The only thing that was a disappointment was the cheese platter for dessert: It is one thing to have non-common cheeses, but at least make sure that they taste! They were all very bland and the toasted slabs of bread did not enhance the experience either. We left most of it and seeing that we love cheese for dessert, that is pretty uncommon. We will come again, but skip the cheese dessert and dessert wine until someone revamps that part of the menu.
I thoroughly enjoyed my bday dinner. The restaurant is beautiful and the service great. The staff signed my menu as a bday card, which is memorable. I had the salmon which was very good and I liked the figgy pudding for dessert.
The structure is beautiful, the food was mediocre and the service was terrible.
Wonderful service, had an elderly Couple to visit NY for the first time and Temple Court offered to imprint a special Welcome Note on the Menue for them. It was a great success, they were impressed with the attention to detail. Also, my friend ordered a Waldorf Salad, expecting a traditional Waldorf Salad. It was not quite to her expectation, so the chef made a new one for her with much more Celery. The rest of the meal was outstanding as well as the service. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of our waitress, I think it was Barda? She was wonderful.
Great place...fabulous service and delicious food....highly recommend
Pricey for what we had. My wife’s vegetarian roast squash and wild mushroom dish with sage would have benefitted from a sauce or at least a sprinkling of Parmesan. My chicken fricassee was cold.
Not particularly taken with the restaurant and would see it as a destination of choice - we had just arrived in NY and were staying in the hotel.
Food was exceptional. Service was good. The restaurant seems to have an issue with different water requests, maybe using different glasses for sparkling vs still would alleviate the confusion.
We have been to temple court a few times and really love it. We were having a cousins reunion and needed a place to go, we chose to come back and recommend it to the 2 other couples! They loved it as much as we do. The staff was friendly, service amazing and the food great! Thanks
wait staff was superb. the food delicious .. a wonderful time was had ..
Was disappointed. Food was served lukewarm. The service was slow. I expected more from a Colicchio restaurant.
The physical space is both historic and so very handsome. I was disappointed that my salmon had been sauteed, leaving it with an unfortunate oily taste. Other than that, the food was excellent.
Celebrated our first wedding anniversary and they couldn’t have made it more special.. highly recommend!!
Really gorgeous restaurant, great service and delicious food. Only problem was that I didn't have room for dessert. Will have to go back!
Me encantaron dos ambientes. Nos atendieron muy bien. Pato y pollo estaban deliciosos. Postre de higo fue sobresaliente. Decoración espectacular
45 mins after we ordered we asked the waiter why it was taking so long and we learned they “lost” our order. Very apologetic but then took 30 mins longer to get our appetizers.... after finishing those we wanted another 30 mins and they had to check on the kitchen again... still no entree. Told them multiple times that we were running out of time and had to leave... didn’t matter. Finally after nearly two hours had to leave; no lunch.
Excellent food and service.
