Located in the iconic Beekman hotel with it's 9 story atrium & fascinating art collection is this gem of a restaurant. Interesting choices, well prepared, nicely served. Highly recommended.
I love this place. They always have a great menu selection and excellent food.
The skate is too salty，everything else is good
Amazing food, good portions and very attentive staff. The restaurant week lunch is an amazing deal. Unbelievable tasty and special food, large portions for such a low price! We were super happy and will dine here again.
Excellent Food, ambience, and the service was outstanding. At our table we had Halibut, the pork chop as well as the steak special. All were flavorful, unique, and substantial portions. Highly recommended and if you get a chance try the bar as well, excellent vibe.
The place is so cozy and it was nor empty nor full. The food was delicious, probably one of the best skirt steaks I have ever eaten. Dessert was also good (apple pie). Service was impeccable so will definitely return there.
Food was great.. This time service was bad.. Had to wait and wait for drink orders to be taken. Constantly had to try and find someone to help us.. Very strange.
We went for our anniversary. Champagne and canapés really made it special but the service was hands down the best part of the night. Every person was friendly and personable and welcoming like we came every weekend. Our server Matt was one of the best we have come across. Add on delicious food and it was a stellar night out. Thank you!
Fabulous dining experience, we celebrated my husbands 50th and it was just perfect. Thank you.
Delicious, inventive menu and a truly gorgeous spot...and the staff could not have been nicer/more helpful. Plus we had a cocktail afterwards at the Alley Cat bar downstairs. A really memorable night.
Actually I should have said... Maybe. It depends on the friend. Some are "Steak House" friends, others are "healthy Eating" friends, even others are "Sandwich & Coffee" friends. This restaurant is on the expensive side but worth it. It is for particular friends who would appreciate the food, the service, the ambience and the great distinction of pursuing a dinner conversation without trying to yell over the noise. One of those rare places that comes with the name Tom Colicchio.
Live jazz during brunch! Tuna nicoise was amazing. Beautiful setting
The food is excellent and the ambiance is wonderful. Give it a try!
Fantastic food and attentive service in a timeless venue.
Great service. Food always delicious. Looking forward to returning.
Cool place but dinner service left much to be desired. Lots of busboys with no direction from waiters. Ordered mushrooms got potatoes then after notifying waiter mushrooms came 3/4 after entree.
Ordered oysters with horseradish and hit sauce waited 15 minutes for it.
You can't go wrong with this Tom Colicchio restaurant. Perfectly executed food and the best service. Wonderful atmosphere that evokes NYC if yesteryear.
Service inattentive despite a light crowd. One of my guests ordered a side of fruit with his breakfast and when he asked the waiter the third time, after all of us were nearly through the waiter questioned him if he still wanted it? He then proceeded to get the order and then charged me for it. I still gave 20% tip but should not have. Only because all the food when finally arrived was excellent. Totally different experience than when I was there before. Dr. MASCARENHAS.
Delightful and the waiter Matt was one of the best we have ever had. Deserves a raise! Will be back soon definitely.
Temple Court is part of the Beekman Hotel. It's a lovely restaurant with great food at a appropriate price in New York City. The service was wonderful and the food amazing.
45 minute wait after being seated to have waitress ask if we wanted a pre dinner drink. Then ignored throughout most of the meal. Food average at best. Exorbitant price for a Christmas Dinner with average food and extremely poor service. Embarrassing effort by Mr. Colicchio’s team. We will not return despite the beautiful architectural setting of the hotel.
This was my first time at Temple Court, I've eaten next door at the Augustine and had a experience so my expectations were high. The environment and service were both great. But the food was subpar, especially for the price. We had the Christmas Prix Fixe menu - perhaps the regular menu is better. My entree was only fair (duck breast, no side, and room temperature). I took one bite of my dessert and couldn't eat the rest.
Our pre-fixe Christmas lunch was 100% fantastic - excellent produce cooked to perfection.
Service was wonderful and especially since they had to work Christmas Day.
Left full and completely satisfied!
We had Christmas dinner at Temple Court, which was presented as a very reasonably priced prix fixe menu. The entire experience was exceptional: the food, the service, the setting, the atmosphere. We enjoyed seared foie gras and sea urchin appetizers, and entrees of roast duck and baked turbot (with caviar sauce). All delicious. The space alone is noteworthy: set within the landmark Beekman Hotel, the tasteful contemporary design meshes harmoniously with the art deco design of the hotel, classic of New York buildings of that era. The generous layout and tall ceilings create an environment that affords both privacy at tables while maintaining an overall energetic and lively ambiance. A truly enjoyable experience that we will certainly return for soon!
Exemplary service. The staff went over and beyond to accomodate our young family and make us feel at home. They provided knowledgeable, attentive and caring service throughout the meal. A very memorable experience. Thank you Justin and team for a very special Xmas day.
The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a memorable dining experience.
Food is Delicious
Everything was very good. The venue is beautiful, the service was excellent, the food was delicious (especially the appetizers) and their Two Doors Down cocktail is very, very good.
The only reason I'd give this place 4 out of 5 stars is because this venue is quite expensive, and these days you can get a comparable experience in other places for a more affordable price.
Portions too small for that price. Felt like a tasting Menu
Feels like a big buffet- food not hot just warm
Mass production- processing
Our server, Jose, answered all of our questions and was prompt. The food was delicious. Perfect Christmas Eve Dinner.
Beautiful setting with wonderful live jazz trio for brunch. The food was very good, service was also good although drinks arrived after the food at which time we were informed that one of the drinks was not available. Slight damper but the cocktails were delicious once we got them.
Perfect NYC treasure The brunch menu offers a good selection. The room was warm and inviting. The music relaxing!
Family holiday dinner. Great experience . Service and food was wonderful!
Will be back excellent service and food and staff was amazing
Great service and setting.
Duck sauces/reductions terrific; duck itself overdone and frozen too long
Seared foie gras and caramelized onion among the best ever
Service was tops
Great warm vibe. Standout spot for holiday celebration. High quality food and drinks.
Everything was great! I took my colleagues there for lunch and everyone loved the ambience, food and service.
Overall everything was very good. The wine we had choses was not available and the waiter suggested another similar wine with the words : I guarantee you you will like it. Well, we did not and he was a little short and smug when we rejected it. He eventually bought the bottle we then ordered, but we were not crazy about this attitude.
It's a nice place. Intimate. Food and service is good.
