We only use the best produce available and source our meat from local farms and butcher it all ourselves in house.
We serve this alongside cornish fish and seafood on corn tortillas and flat breads we made in house.
Each week we have ‘Sunday sharing specials’ for the table.
We have 180 seats which you can book but we always reserve room for walk-ins.

GREAT FOOD SAUSAGE AND RIBEYE WITH THE SIDES COMPLEMENTING THE MEAT NICELY. HAD A NICE TALK WITH THE CHEF AND GOT A TOUR OF THE MEAT LOCKER. VERY GOOD SERVICE.
Really lovely restaurant with an energetic ambience. Food delicious and would have given it a 5 if we didn't seem harassed to finish a course before the next one was plonked on the table before one of us had done with the starter. Not good. One of the floor managers knowledge was amazing and really helped with wine & food choice - perhaps they need to work on some of the waiting staff to get to the same level.
Service very friendly and very helpful.. I am a waitress and I love see the people smile in a restaurant. Food amazing very very outstanding!
Lively atmosphere and tasty meats. We sat at the counter right in front of the fire and watched the chefs grill and prepare all the mains. Very interesting but it was a busy night and service was a little slow. Highly recommend the cheeseburger tacos and the filet!

We fancied steak, so we went to Temper SOHO. We took place at the bar, we had a great view in the open kitchen. Because it was a Sunday, they only had the Sunday roast. We are both from Holland and my girlfriend never had a British roast before. She choose the beef and it was absolutely delicious. I had the pork and that was good as well. We shared the potatoes, veggies and Yorkshire pudding. I was still a bit peckish so I ordered a starter, the nachos with aged beef. That was a bit of a disappointment, to be honest. It was to salty in our opinion. We shared a dessert and that was a bit of a letdown as well, it was really sweet.
A friend and I visited Temper for Sunday lunch. After reading the reviews we were looking forward to trying the dishes. We ordered the the roast porchetta and the cauliflower mole along with “roast garnish” (accompanying vegetables) for two. We were told that the food was sharing plates “family style” and two main course dishes would be enough. All the food was delicious, however we were surprised that the porchetta comprised of just two slices of meat for £10. The cauliflower mole was also £10 and for that price we’d expected a whole cauliflower, however we guessed we probably had a third of a cauliflower. If they’d positioned it as tapas style maybe we’d have ordered another dish but we were told one each was correct together with the sides. I don’t usually have room for dessert, but we both had dessert as we were still hungry. The cookie dish in particular was very very good.

The ambiance is nice but the music too loud, food was delicious but small portions only two when you want to share
Have eaten at Temper Soho several times. The only thing I can say is it is consistently inconsistent. The previous time I dined, it was fantastic..this time it was very underwhelming. The goat very overcooked, the goat cheese taco..was slapped together, the hispi cabbage (which I was told by the server was the same as last time I dined)....was bland and vastly different than the last time. My friend ordered the guacamole nachos (note to other diners- these are NOT nachos..they are crisp tortilla chips with average guac as a dip)...which again when we asked the server upon ordering if they were proper nachos with cheese, she enthusiastically said "yes!" All that said, the chocolate chip cookie dessert is always on point. So that is a good thing. The atmosphere is fun and buzzy...which I always enjoy and will probably return as 3 out of the last 6 meals have been good...so again the bad will fade in the mind and I will probably be back again..but they really need to work on their consistency.

Some of the best food ever but my goodness it gets loud, I would also advise booking in advance a little bit as the late tables are awful, probably better at the bar

Delicious food and amazing service
Everything from the first greeting to the payment at the end was great. Staff great and very helpful. The Sunday Roast was delicious. Make sure you try the goat and sneak in a cheeseburger taco.

Sunday lunch was unfortunately a bit of a let down. Roast beef joint was good, as was the gravy, but veg was poor. Especially the roast potatoes. I know it's hard to replicate the ones you make at home, but they were very hard and dry - really disappointing! Such a shame as the restaurant has a really great feel to it and service was excellent.

Gorgeous lovely food across the board. Sitting at the counter, which I totally recommend , we were served tasters of each of the meats before ordering...sublime. Started with the goat taco and cheeseburger taco. Both incredible. Then on to 100g of each the beef, pork and goat with all the Sunday roast fixings. All was brilliant! The only thing I would say is the roast potatoes weren’t quite a 10/10 standard. Probably a 7/10. Everything else nailed it and I will be returning!
The food was terrible! More fat than meat... really disappointed
- Service was good, almost too quick. Sat at the counter and asked the waiter to move to a table (as quite a few tables were empty) but waiter never came back to me
- Ambience was great
- Overall food was okay, did not blow me away though. T Bone flavour was good yet meat was chewy and full of fat which had not been trimmed. Considering that you pay by weight i am not sure this is fair.
- Fish was being cooked on the same grill as meat, not ideal for vegetarian.
- Had a good night, but i would not go again / recommend.

Our experience was amazing. Ray who looked after us was very charming & helped us navigate the menu. Definitely worth sharing food. We had the mezcal negronis which were great. We ordered a wide range of dishes from across the menu. Highly recommend the tacos & the fire cooked steak. A fantastic fun restaurant with great ambience.

What a load of B0ll0cks! I read a rave review in Time Out and thought it would be a cool place to meet some friends at. Too cool for school more like. 8:15 pm on a Friday evening. The Sh1t music was 1980’s throwback played at excessive volumes that I couldn’t hear the conversation of my friend opposite me on a circular table. The waitress couldn’t be heard explaining the concept of this dungeon that it was plates for sharing. The T bone steak I ordered was too thick, too rare, tough and cold served on a cold plate. Never again! The fish plate was a really smelly mackerel with tiny flat breads and the radicchio salad was nasty, watery and really bitter tasting. Save your cash, there are better places in London than this hell hole!

This was a great visit, really lovely people working, great food and atmosphere.
I had not been for over a year because the last time I was there, one of the supervisors was really rude to me.... there seems to have been a compete change in their attitude which is refreshing to see.

I am afraid I did not have a good experience. The table next to us had a group of 4 people who were so loud it prevented us from talking. The table was much too close also I am afraid I found the music too loud also. I was also unable to ready the menu without the light from my phone. The waiter did not ask how I wanted my steak cooked and it cam medium when I like it rare but it was too dark to see exactly how it was. The steak was also full of fat and again it was too dark to be able to cut it all off.

Amazing food, fun atmosphere. A nice balance of a restaurant where you can still get dressed up, but have a fun meal at the counter. Great experience all round.

Ambience is really good, especially sat at the kitchen bar watching the chefs perfectly prepare delicious steaks over wood burning barbecues. Interesting wine list and scrumptious desserts. Service is professional, attentive and friendly. Definitely will return and recommend.

Very cool place. The service and food were very good. However (and I know it’s a “hip” place) but it was too loud to have a conversation. It would have better to go by myself and sit at the bar than with a group. But I’m still glad I went bc it was very good and it’s a unique experience so I would definitely recommend just go realizing it’s going to be loud

We sat on the counter seats and we were very lucky we sat right by where the steak was being cooked! Was an amazing evening food was incredible, the staff and chefs were so friendly too
Great food - especially the beef carnitas and the rump steak! Delicious cocktails and attentive staff too. Dessert was slightly underdone (the deep dish cookie) which was disappointing, but overall a great experience and would go back to try more dishes!
Had the porterhouse steak. The meat was tasty, however, the steak comes pre-cut! A complete no no for many. Secondly, 50% of the meat was solid inedible fat. I informed the waiter and responed by saying: The steak will come with fat on it.
Well I know that, but I don’t expect it to be inedible. For 500g (including the bone) at £37, i expect to be able to eat everything and even nibble the bone! Manager gave a £25 discount off the bill.
Will not return as I expect a lot more from a restaurant that charges £45-50 for just a main meal and a couple of sides! Perfection requires at that price!
It has taken along time to get a table for your restaurant, and to say I was thrilled to be able to get a table was great, however, was devastated at the poor service from the waitress she was so rude. My son and I were out celebrating my husbands life., only to be ruined by an extremely rude individual. I did mention this to the lady at reception who just said oh dear. Not the response I expected
Good starters and cocktails. Mains appalling. Steak was barely cooked and fat didn’t seem to have even seen a match. These people need to goto Bazaar in Vegas to see how to cook meat properly. Fish was not deboned but was supposed to be for tacos. Staff throwing ice at each other and garnishes behind bar and kicking ice back and from between them. Avoid like the plague. Given the behaviour I would not be surprised if it closed down in 6 months. Management unable to refund on card or apologise for staff behaviour.

My hubby and I dined here on his birthday and we were so impressed with the ambiance, customer service and food. We fell in love with their tacos we ended up ordering different tacos and filled up on them that we didn’t have room for an entree. Definitely coming back.

Great food. Kept to the non-steak dishes. Spicy and great tasting. Even the cauliflower! Very quiet over lunch. Sure atmosphere picks up in the evening.

Based on TimeOut recommendation gave it a try for a small family gathering. Food quality was excellent, interestingly served and drinks were superb. The meat dishes were all excellent and the sides (yorkshire and veggies were superb). The smoked beef nachos starter were a winner. Highly recommended and at the end the bill was very manageable.
