   Made a reservation for Sunday night. Restaurant was not busy. However it was clearly understaffed. We were seated immediately but then waited 10 minutes for someone to come over and fill our water glasses. She thought we needed utensils as well but we did not. She assured us that our waiter would be over in a minute. Another 6 or 7 minutes later he showed up and tried to take our drink order. We gave him our full order since we were ready. Chips and salsa came out quickly after that. Followed by guacamole and salad. Dinner took a while but at least we had to chips to munch on. Dinner came out and our waiter stopped by 2 or 3 times while we ate to check in on us. But then we were done eating for at least 15 minutes and he was nowhere to be found. Had to go to the hostess and ask her to find him. Brought a box for leftovers and our bill. Tried to clear the dishes (finally) as we were getting up to leave. Appetizer dishes were still on the table. I’ve been a waitress before so I try to be sympathetic. But this was extremely poor service. It was very slow the first time we went and friends have had the same experience at the Dedham and Natick locations. The food is awesome but not sure even that makes up for the service.

   I’ve been to the seaport location a bunch and have really enjoyed but this location was a big disappointment. The server was ok but overall it felt like an overpriced, rundown, Tex-mex Applebee’s. We sat in the upstairs area and it was clearly the afterthought section because the floors and tables were trashed. And staff would just step over dirty napkins and food. Crushed tortilla chips in the rug and stairs. Plus the food felt categories less than the Seaport. It was clear items weren’t fresh because when we asked to modify for vegetarians we were told items were pre-prepared so there was one entree option or settle for a salad or app. We were there for a celebration and the guest of honor had to settle for average Luke warm veg tacos cuz there were no other options. I was honestly embarrassed that I had brought my friends there.

   Hi John, Thank you for giving us some feedback on your experience dining in our Mezzanine area on Saturday. We do share these with the team as a training tool to better serve our guests and community. Ongoing cleanliness is important to us as part of our dining atmosphere, this sounds as though we fell shy of that standard.    Delicious food and great service! Not that noisy, so you can actually enjoy conversation around table

   Meal did not come out as ordered but it was very good. The manager did come over after I finished my meal to make sure it was ok.

   I've been to Temazcal in other locations and the food has been subpar and a little pricey for what you are getting. I decided to try to the Dedham location, but was disappointed. I got the short rib tacos and they were dry. My friend got the chicken quesadillas and the didnt even look appetizing. There are much better restaurants to get Mexican and other cuisines than Temazcal.

   It was good but lacks vegetarian options which stinks. My Mum (a carnivore) raved about her main coarse - mine (fish tacos) was okay. Appetizers were delicious. Sangria was tasty but weak. Happy with overall experience

   Food is pretty bland, for some reason all the salsa is sweet too. Nice service though, just feel bad the food is so weak.

   I had a 7/10 experience last night for a Valentine’s Day dinner. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful in regards to recommending certain dishes and checking in on us throughout the night. That said, however, after we finished our appetizers, it took about 30 minutes for our salmon tacos to come out. Our waitress was nowhere to be found during this time, and it was quite frustrating. While the Mexican brownie was a pleasant way to finish off my dining experience, I still left Temazcal in Dedham a bit underwhelmed in regards to service. I would probably come back to this location, but perhaps not for a special occasion where I expect nothing but the best service.
