Ask for Kevin, he made great recommendations and was very friendly! The drinks are so tasty and not weak. I highly recommend the Pokè Nachos and all of the Temaki flavors we had were amazing! The only meh was the miso ramen. Overall, fabulous experience!

Of course the decor is amazing and innovative, but the service, food and drinks were wonderful as well! I loved everything we tried, from small plates to temaki to drinks to dessert. Our server was a pleasure to talk with and he gave us helpful info on the menu throughout our visit. Can't wait to visit again!

Everything we tried was delicious; however, the portions are small for the price. My husband & I shared the poke nachos, edamame, lobster gyoza, dumplings, 3 sushi tacos, tofu crème brûlée & I had 1 cocktail & our tab was a tad under $200, which included the tip! One sushi taco I would equal it to 3 sushi. Worth the trip just to see the 2-D decor.

Wanted to visit this restaurante because of the fun decor it presents, it I have to say the food is delicious. It was 100% a great choice! We were able to get some fun pictures and have some amazing food. The service was superb. We will definitely come back!

We came for an event at the Art Garden. I am pretty sure our waitress was a little drunk as they were doing a Whiskey Tasting event that night. She was very nice but not professional at all and at one point even dropped a F-BOMB in the middle of serving us. We were a party of 3 and it was everyone's first time. We started with the Lobster Goyza and they were AMAZING!!! The cocktails were also delicious, I had the Japanese Slipper. We had the Temaki; soft shell crab, and California and a Tonkotsu Ramen. We had to send the ramen back and were refunded for it. It had no flavor. The manager was very nice and checked on us and was very kind and accommodating. I will say for the prices I expected better service and food. Trinity Groves is a popular spot with amazing options and competition is stiff. This has the potential to be an AMAZING option but there are some details that need to be addressed. Would try again..MAYBE.

Everything is overpriced in this restaurant. The sushi is not that fancy if you compared to other sushi restaurants in DFW. Staffs are slow and inattentive. Restroom is limited therefore you are dine in and see a line of people trying to get to the restroom and negatively impact your appetite. I would recommend not going and save your money for somewhere else.

It's definitely an Instagramable restaurant, I'll give it that. But it made me a little carsick, to be honest. The ambiance is ok... great to visit once.... but I wouldn't go back. The portions are extremely small, especially for the price, and the menu concept is just kind of bizarre. The service was ok, nothing spectacular, and it wasn't busy. The restaurant, overall, just didn't feel somewhere I need to return. I did enjoy my cocktail.

Sat at the bar and had to chance to watch Dylan and Chris make hand rolls. They were extremely friendly and they positively contributed to our experience. The yellow tail sashimi was great and the tofu crème brûlée was fantastic.

A unique experience with friendly and helpful staff. The food was presented differently than other sushi restaurants but tasted great. The highball was excellent, and they did not skimp on the alcohol. :-)

Cool setting. Nice ambiance. Cleanliness was not up to par. My seat was dirty as well as the floor. The Sake & Haiku cocktail was really good and strong! The Miso Soup gave me life.

This was such a fun place! The whole aesthetic was wonderful. Our server Nathan was amazing and all his suggestions were appreciated! The soft shell crab with green curry was one of my favorites! But honestly there was nothing bad that we had! Thank you Julian and co for a fun delicious place!

The pros: Looks amazing! So cool. Feels fresh and unlike anything I've ever seen. The staff was friendly and attentive. The cons: Food was unique, but not super awesome. Definitely not up to the scene set by the design of the restaurant. I was expecting a lot, but it tasted just ok. Same with the cocktails – we all tried two and they were fine. So overall, I was energized by the view but not by what I tasted. Don't think I'll be back, but I wish them well because it was a cool experience!

The 2D concept was pretty cool. Mostly just on the inside of the restaurant and I sat in the enclosed patio. A/C was not working so it was extremely hot. Food was pretty bad, let alone being overpriced. Could get better sushi from a grocery store.

Really small space you can barely move on your sit and I don’t like the fact we’re sitting on the center with a bunch of people. The food was ok 👍 our waiter was really nice but I don’t know if i wanted to go back

The restaurant is such a cool concept. Service was OUTSTANDING. With that being said, the food was lacking flavor, I really was hoping for something more authentic and flavorful. The price, for the portion size, did not match up. It was a one time visit for us but do believe the place has potential to get better.

Bad service and mediocre food; our waiter was misleading in descriptions of the food. I have never ordered an Omakase per person and had one hand roll come to the table to share as a course.

Food was ok, nothing special in terms of flavor. Our group tried 8 different tacos, two apps, and 4 cocktails, and two desserts. All the sushi tacos tasted good. The vegetable tempura were giiiant pieces that should have been cut up to be shareable. Not 4 giant pieces of veggies ( like got a literal giant mushroom); was not sharable. Maybe I’m crazy but soy sauce didn’t seem right… like kinda bland. Cocktails and ice cream were both good.
