   This is a pop up. They have no way of cooking or searing. Limited menu. Everything is a hand roll. Tasty but expensive. Not a typical sushi experience.

   We stopped in late night for sushi and were pleasantly surprised with the super fresh rolls, the great service and super fun banter with the staff. Loved it!!!

   Horrible quality, only 1 person taking orders who also made the sushi. Both of us got sick the next day.

   Hello, We deeply apologize for your experience. With great anticipation in the grand opening of Temakse Miami, we did not forsee any of the issues we ran into. With this being said, we took it upon us to completely revamp by taking some time off to ensure our staff, management, and food quality was up to our 100% standards that we take pride in at Temakase. We would love to extend an invitation back to our South Beach location for a complimentary meal to apologize for this experience.

   It’s the opposite of what I expected, it is NOT a restaurant, it’s a long table bar in a Hotel , the sushi ….it’s much better in a convenient store…..very disappointed about Open Table’s recommendation ….

   Hello, We apologize for your experience. We do pride ourselves in being a hand-roll sushi bar (It's what makes us unique!), and our location in New York has the same concept. In our 'About' section we do explain we are a Bar, and each roll is Hand Rolled (not like traditionally styled sushi rolls) so we apologize if you were misled. We have taken time off to revamp our South Beach location and would love to invite you back to apologize for your experience.

   We were excited to try this place but ended up leaving. The prices were 40% higher than what was published online. It isn’t much of a restaurant as the seats are only along a bar and there is nothing else there. 6:30 Friday night reservation and nobody was there. If ambiance is not important to you than this location could be fine, but I found it a little sketchy and I don’t want to eat raw fish from a place that gives me sketchy vibes. They did have more drinks available than published online but they offered no sake or hot sake and I enjoy getting some with sushi. I would avoid this location. It was a weird experience and we left because there are so many other places to eat.

   All of the fish was very fresh and the sashimi is the best we have ever had. The drinks were good but more expensive than the food and not exceptional, like the food was. Excellent service, clean restaurant and in a quiet setting. Overall, I would definitely recommend and will go back when we visit Miami again!

    We had a dinner reservation and apparently the restaurant was closed due to a private event. We got there on a Saturday night and no one was there to answer or even apologize. We didn’t receive a message or anything advising the closure of the restaurant and hotel. Not coming back.. to bad, I was excited to try the concept.
