   I love Tellers and have been there several times before, so I felt like booking Mother's Day brunch would be a good idea. Unfortunately, the food was awful, very unpleasing to look at (the plates are usually pretty and neat), and the service was okay at best. It was very disappointing, especially for a $400 check for a party of 6. I will avoid the restaurant at special events from now on.

   OK, so I will start by saying that we LOVE Teller's. It is always a good time and we enjoy it. BUT, it would have been nice a month ago when I made the reservation for Mother's Day to be told that it was a fixed price and fixed menu. Nowhere on the website or on Open Table did it say that either. Don't get me wrong, we can afford the price, but my husband had his heart set on the Brussel Sprout and Bacon pizza. NOWHERE did it say this, nor were we told, so honestly I think we would have made a different choice of where to dine for Mother's Day. Also, everything was delicious, but nowhere near what $55 each would have bought at a different restaurant. I really don't get it, but there you go.

   Delicious, wonderful server. Specialty drinks were approx $20 each which is outrageous. Our server and the service overall was impeccable. I highly recommend it.

   Great meal. Love the eggplant dip and Carpaccio starters. We had the pork chop, chicken, short rib pasta and the butter poached lobster ravioli. All great!!

   The place is absolutely beautiful and cleverly includes the original bank features like the teller windows. The cocktail is fun and eclectic - albeit The experience was a mix of highs and lows. While the menu leans toward the pricier side, the beef carpaccio stood out—rich and flavorful, though a bit heavy-handed with the balsamic. Unfortunately, the salad suffered from an excess of dressing, and the salmon was overwhelmed by salt. Dessert, however, redeemed the meal: a luscious, velvety cheesecake that was nothing short of divine. The real disappointment came at the door. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, the hostess attempted to seat us behind a massive pillar. When we politely requested a more pleasant spot, her response was less than gracious—snark delivered with a side of reluctance. Thankfully, our server more than made up for it, offering warmth, attentiveness, and a touch of elegance that ultimately salvaged the evening.

   Tellers is one of my favorite places to when I am downtown for an event. We had 2 reservations at 5:00 on Sunday for a 6 and an 8 and asked to be seated in the same section. We were told the only option was to sit on opposite sides of the restaurant, despite the fact that there were only 3 other tables in the entire restaurant. They sat our 8 top next to an empty six top, but were told that our other party could not sit there, they had to sit on the other side. Our waiter for the 8 top Lowel said we should all sit together and had the 6 top seated near us. Lowel, was amazing! We were going to a show and made sure we had time for a great dinner. He was so kind and attentive. He suggested great dishes, we were doing the Colbert questionnaire at the table, and he was a good sport and would answer when he came by the table, offered to get a group photo of us, and had us out on time for the show! He really offered 5-star service to our group, and we are so appreciative. 💕 The food was great! Our favorites were the buratta, cacio de pepe, lobster ravioli, salmon, and the cobler for dessert. Their pizzas are also great.
