The Telefèric Barcelona doors were first opened twenty-three years ago, and finally the Telefèric family has landed in the states. Our passionate team in Walnut Creek has grown to include some of the world’s most creative and innovative chefs and mixologists, including two chefs directly from Barcelona. Our downtown location features the first second-story outdoor patio and bar in Walnut Creek, which is available for reservation in addition to our exclusive private dining room.
Celebrated my daughters 25th birthday
As always, one of our favorite restaurants -- great & innovative food, wonderful service, and a festive atmosphere!
Because the staff are lovely and the food is so so delicious
The food is great, only negative thing I have is that that place is loud. There's no room to enjoy conversations with friends.
We're fans of Teleferic Barcelona, but we were underwhelmed this time. The menu changes routinely, which is good. Unfortunately, only a few of the pintxos grabbed us. The ham croquettes could have used more ham; they were very similar to the cheese fritters. Also, the meat paella didn't have as much meat in it as would be expected and was not very flavorful. On the other hand, the sangria was very nice, as usual. The red wine selection by the glass was tasty, but not plentiful enough. All said and done, we'll return for drinks and pintxos but pass on the paella next time.
We had a table for 4. Shared vegetable paella, octopus and prosciutto tapas. Salmon, shrimp and steak were all beautiful. Pinot noir was excellent.Service friendly and helpful.
We waited 15 minutes before anyone came and asked for our drink order. When we got the drinks, another 15 minutes later, the waiter spilled one of them spilled on of them on my friend. He didnt even apologize. And joked when he brought the replacement drinks that he wont spill these ones. We didnt even get the drink for free or any discount. We ordered 3 of the special appetizers and they only brought 2. I did not want to wait another 20 minutes to get the 1 item we were missing.
I have been to Telefric several times, but this experience may have me reconsidering coming back.
Took one hr to get our small orders. The Paella came first which they said will take 45 min. The 2 small orders crispy pork(not crispy) and hanger steak took a long time until we told our server when is it going to be ready? They gave it to the wrong table. He did not take our Patatas Bravas. But the food was so good!
We are from Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain) and this restaurant is the best spanish/catalan restaurant in Catalonia. The people is outstanding and we enjoy trying our most tipical food. Amazing!
We had family visiting and were really excited to get everyone together and eat here. All the food tasted bland/the same and we were sat right under a music speaker, in the cover outside seating, which felt like we had to practically yell to hear one another.
Great place to meet with friends for an enjoyable experience!
Love this place!
Great food, amazing flavors and aromas. Everything that was ordered and tasted was fabulous just like the time before! Love it and definitely will be back. They definitely have created some regular clients with us!
Cane here for our anniversary. Was excited that it was flamenco night, but didn’t get to see any performers. We were seated outside where it was too windy. It was also way too loud. As usual the food was delicious, our server could’ve been more attentive.
Every time we've come to TF, we've experienced excellent service, and incredible food and drinks. They also exceed our expectations. Great place to take family and friends for a memorable occasion.
Most of the food items were delicious especially the crispy pork. The drinks were fantastic.
We went there for the payeya and we were very disappointed. It was more like a risotto
A FUN AND AUTHENTIC Spanish place.
The food is excellent
Wonderful date noght
Great food and service. Love the Flamenco Show on Monday nights.
Food that reminds me of Barcelona and other tapas that are very unique and a but of fusion with California cuisine. Bravo.
I love Telefèric. The food is very authentic and the service is outstanding. Different every time.
Celebration dinner and Flamenco show with my husband and two close friends.
We were seated in front of flamenco dancers and had a great time. The food was very good, service was excellent and the flamenco dancing was very engaging. So much fun, thank you.
Food is really good, price s affordable and excellent service. The music is too loud though.
It is my favorite place to take my daughter who spent a couple of years in Spain. Thank you for having a choice of a couple of non-seafood paellas this time.
I love that Catalan restaurant. Service is friendly and well-timed. Food is delicious. I recommend all their plates, but you should try the octopus and any paella :-)
I am from Catalonia and I can assure you that Telefèric Barcelona's paella it is better than some Barcelona's restaurants' paella.
When I miss my country, I come here :-).
The octopus is to die for, so tender and flavorful. The service is awesome and the ambiance great! I just wish they were a tad less expensive, but overall totally worth it.
We had a lovely lunch! Great cocktail and food. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive
I’m from Spain and I have to say this is the best Spanish restaurant I’ve tried in the Bay Area!
The paella is not to be missed mixed drinks were perfect and the staff was very attentive Would recommend this to everyone. There’s a tapas you will like —no matter how fussy you srr
Went for the first time to this restaurant. Having never had tapas we did not know what to expect. We ordered four different plates and found that while the portions were a little on the small side for us, we absolutely loved it. It was so good we actually wanted more of each portion, so that was a bit disappointing. But none the less the food staff was great, ambiance was cool and the food was beyond yummy.
Good place and i highly recommend it. The only thing that i don't like is the noisy level, some people almost screaming here, but overall this is a good place.
Lobster paella was excellent. Service was friendly and consistent. Will definitely return.
beautiful cocktails I loved the gin and tonics. Those shrimp poached in spainish olive oil are to die for, and of course like everyone else I love the octopus
I went to visit this restaurant with family and we had a great experience there. I visited the restaurant at the Barcelona location this past winter so I was looking forward to comparing the experiences. We had a reservation and waited at the bar to be seated. I noticed that this restaurant was much larger and crowded, the design was more lush, and that the restaurant more loud than the Barcelona location. All of the staff that served us spoke Spanish, which was a plus. The drinks were a little pricy and weak, but they tasted delicious; we ordered Sangria and Estrella beers. The tapas we ordered were great: crab croquetas, empanadas, and tuna tostadas. I will admit that the tuna tacos at the Barcelona location were my favorite item on the menu at both locations, but the tuna tostadas were satisfactory. The salads were my favorite dishes of the night, do not miss out on these. We all shared the lobster paella and I concluded that I liked it more than the Barcelona paella as the Barcelona paella tended to be more dry. We finished our night with the French Toast desert. It melted in our mouths and was very sweet, but flavorful when mixed with the orange garnishes. Unfortunately, they ran out of our first choice, the chocolate cake, however, the french toast was impressive. Overall, decent service, great food, and trendy decor.
The food was amazing. The staff was friendly. The only comment I have for improvement is that when you’re at the bar waiting for your table, the hostesses should tell you that you’ll get a text when you’re table is ready. That wasn’t clear and we couldn’t tell how they were going to call us. Finally, 30 minutes after our reservation, we stopped a hostess and she told us we’d have a text. It was so “hoppin’” in there I never should have heard the ding if I hadn’t been looking for it. This just needs to be relayed to the customers, because it was confusing. Everything else was terrific!
The paella had a good flavor, but protein was minimal. There were four of us, but only two small pieces of meat. Not worth $34. Tapas were ok.
We've been to a variety of restaurants in Walnut Creek, and truth to tell, this is our least favorite. Portions are small and the ambience is just okay.
I like this place
