Everything was perfect except for the noise factor. Forget having any meaning conversation. However, your dinner and wait service will be terrific.
A huge disappointment, particularly as it was my mother’s birthday dinner. 15 minutes for someone to arrive at our table. We put in our orde right away, including the paella, as the menu stated 25+ minutes.
Service picked up for a while; tapas came at a brisk pace, and a server promptly took away empty dishes. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. After 40 minutes, I asked about the main course. We ended up waiting another 15 minutes, for a total of 55 minutes between courses.
The paella was ok; not very flavorful and very little saffron. Everything seem to have Mayonnaise on it. The croquetas were awesome, though slightly cold in the middle.
Most surprising though was the 20% tip that was automatically added to the bill, on a tab for a party of four. ¡Ay caramba! I don’t think we’ll be dining here again; the quality has totally fallen in the past year.
Oh, and hardly any of the huge windows were open, and most of the diners didn’t seem to be concerned.
I have loved this restaurant since it first opened, and, surprisingly, it just gets better and better. My favorite thing to do is to bring newbies to it, especially out-of-towners, and watch their faces as they taste the tapas and paellas. BIG smiles all around! It is a gem in the heart of Walnut Creek.
One of my favorite places in the Bay Area, the best Spanish food I can find outside of Spain. It's always a treat to be able to dine at Teleferic. Visited this place four times and will be back for sure.
Great atmosphere and quality service. We live Spanish tapas and this place is one of the better places in this area. The music was great and the food was not disappointing. We will return here.
The food here is amazing if you’re looking for a really good Tapas and Spanish food. The ambience is wonderful especially eating outside in the courtyard area. Food is very fresh and the service is great.
Server was very good.
Good food, paella a little greasy but everything else was great.
It was my husband’s birthday and we went for a family lunch. The service was great and presentation of the food and beverages was beautiful. The flavor was missing from every dish that we tried. We spent $280 for the worst meal we’ve had in years.
Teleferic has the best sangrias. My friends and I always come to Teleferic for the sangrias
Absolutely delicious. Only critique, it took a while to receive our entrees.
We had an extraordinary evening! From food choices , cocktails and excellent service provided by our waiter Collin!
Being a local of Walnut Creek we enjoyed your restaurant before but unfortunately last night our main course of 2 orders of paella the presentation were horrible and not even same level of paella we used to order before, very salty and portion is way out of price. Crab paella cannot be recommended at all.
Very nice place. All dishes were great but the fresh oysters. Those were not of that place level. Service and ambiance simply great. Really love that place. Wish they had brought back the carts with little plates 😊
The place was really pretty, and the music was nice, also the service was on point and the food was amazing, very good place highly recommended.
Service is always great! The food is excellent.
The food was delicious but expensive. I asked a couple of times to refill my coffee and never got it. The rest of the service was good otherwise.
Awesome food, drinks and great vibe. It is a spacious spot but it fills up quickly. Easy access to via stair or elevator.
Everything on the menu is delicious.
A go-to for my girlfriend and I on our girl date nights :)
Many times a this restaurant, always disappointed by waitres poor & careless service. Music extremely loud, I was expecting Music from spain (since it's a restaurant from spain) but instead the have very loud reggaeton music.
Overall, gave many opportunities to this restaurant but no more, will only come back to take out the tomahawk steak but not dinning there anymore.
Great experience, as always. Perhaps tone down the music a notch.Thx
Always a good meal and experience, although a tad pricey. Friendly efficient staff without making you feel rushed. So many choices yet somehow we always seem to order many of the same yummy dishes as our last visit. Noted that a 20% tip is added to all tabs regardless of party size and there is a noted time limit for dining...not a problem, just an interesting feature that is new.
A great place to have a sublime dining experience.
Went here for date night with the hubby last night. I made a reservation for 8pm, came early, and was able to get seated at 7:30pm. The hostess was very warm and welcoming. Overall, great experience. Food was amazing! We want to come back and check out the rest of the menu. We didn't take pictures since we were so hungry. We ordered the following:
- 1 dozen oysters (Bomb! Loved the gaspaucho on it)
- Pulpo (Bomb! So crispy!)
- Spanish meatballs (Loved it. Hubby liked the meatballs but was not a fan of the Masala)
- Roasted cauliflower (Bomb!)
- Tomahawk steak for hubby (Bomb! Hubby was too full to finish it so we packed leftovers)
- La porca for me (So tender and crispy!)
- Top trio selection for desert
- 2 teleferic sangrias
Our server, Adrian, was the sweetest! We both loved him.
Tapas were fantastic, wine was superb. Everything was beautifully served.
Beautiful setting. I’d seen the building but had not been in. So glad my friend picked this for her birthday lunch. We were seated inside—our choice—as it was pretty windy out.
We ordered and shared the tuna taquitos, crab croquettes, shrimp in broth and Brussel sprouts.
The Virgin drinks were lovely as was the dessert!
Brought my wife here to experience authentic Spanish cuisine. Overall a good experience. Not something we would crave for
and rave about. The hanger steak we ordered was under seasoned and lacked flavor although very tender. We tasted the
funky Iberico ham. Too much serving for just the two of us but we wanted to try it. Wished there was a half order option. The paella was okay. Felt like it was mostly rice and not enough of shrimp chicken pork squid it supposedly came with it. Taste was good though. Value I would say is poor to okay. Happy to have tried it once.
Some of the guests at our table felt the service was a bit lacking but overall the experience was great. All of the food we ordered was excellent!
Too loud - very poor presentation the food was ver avg not worth the price
Paella truffle was delicious!
My whole family went here for the first time to celebrate my birthday. Everybody enjoyed the food! Everything was awesome…the paella wasn’t crispy though but it was still good. We will definitely come back again!
Paella had little fish or meat in it, rice was very tasty but overcooked.
awesome place. One of the best places in WC
Such a cute first date spot! It was pleasant sitting in the outdoor area. Loved the ambiance, and staff. Such friendly, and empathetic service.
Just an over all great experience!
Amazing food, good place! A little bit crowded but delicious!
The food was very good. We had paella micro, which was very good. The Brussels sprouts were also quite good, though a bit undercooked. The music was a techno- hi hop and u bearable loud and annoying enough to detract from the food. Hope they turn it down!
Food was really good but service was bad. Bad enough to just ask for my food togo.
