Love the food, service, location. Whats not to like, the great experience paired with great food. Who cares what you order, have fun!
Moms birthday dinner
Food is pretty close to the real thing in Spain. Croquetas are very good, bravas too, and so is the octopus (albeit a slight variation of the original recipe). Crema catalana is excellent but the churros are not what they should be compared to Spain. The ambience and services was very pleasant and overall we had a great time.
Love this restaurant; great service, terrific food, nice ambience, tasty drinks.
Other than the fact that they gave away our reserved table, tried to seat us at the loud bar, and didn’t offer anything to make up for a 20 min wait for a reservation-once we were seated everything was fantastic! The food, service, and ambiance were top notch and we will definitely be back!
Food was great..!!!!
Front desk person not friendly, had an attitude.
Rest of personal very friendly and profesional
Awesome Tapas and good pintxos cart selections. Extensive wine and cocktail list! Definitely a must try food find in the area!!

- everything on th pintxos cart!
- mojito Dali
We had a wonderful evening here. Food was delicious. We were a little worried that our kids would not enjoy but they loved it. Staff was attentive and the Chef even visited when a dish was presented with an ingredient that we had an allergy (dish was complimentary). Wonderful place with great menu and cocktails.
Great food. Delicious margaritas. Great service. Wonderful time!
This was my third visit to Teleferic Barcelona, and I have never been disappointed. Not only is the cuisine authentic and innovative, but the service is great, and the food is outstanding. My only regret is that I couldn't try everything at one visit. Be sure to try the lobster paella. Dynamite!
I have been to TB five times since they opened. The service has always been good, but continues to improve with time. Our last visit was Mother's Day. The service was really great: friendly but professional and nicely attentive.
As for ambiance, it is a very mixed bag. The location is great - worthy of nice appointments. Nevertheless, I continue to wonder why such a seemingly sophisticated restaurant uses a random blend of cheap chairs, nestled around diner-style tables. Are they that cash-deficient? Strange.
As for the food, they seem to be improving. The pulpo (grilled octopus) is great! The "truffled" duck was nice - the duck was nicely prepared, but the quality of the truffles was so poor that it was impossible to sense them (I've attended truffle auctions in Provence and while I'm not an "authority," I am educated enough to know when the product doesn't produce.). We avoided the paella's altogether. Again, this is dish we have experienced throughout Catalonia and have taken workshops (Spanish Kitchen, Berkeley and Chef Jerard) and find TB to really fail at this signature dish. Great paella is as much a function of the process as it is of the ingredients. "Socrrat," the crispy rice that binds the flavors of the spices and other ingredients at the bottom of the pan is the prized product of this dish. TB just isn't willing/capable to make the dish in this authentic way. We asked them to do so for the first 4 times we ate there - and there was zero socrrat in all cases. Note: kinda sad that a Catalonian restaurant can't produce its signature dish in an authentic way.
So, why did I give the restaurant such good ratings? Simply this: the things they do well, they do very well (service, sangria, house cocktails and pulpo).
Mother’s Day with family and friends
Unbelievable! Very authentic from the tapas to the sangria. Everything was incredibly flavorful. Can’t wait to go again.
Super crowded and loud. This place used to have great food but the last 2 times we have been here the food was not great at all. It’s too expensive for the lack of flavor. We are not giving a third chance.
Great place for large parties. Awesome food and love the ambiance in the restaurant.
From the food to the ambiance to the service, this was one incredible dining experience! A must go for date night or with friends!
Very good experience. Food and drinks were incredible. It was a little hard to talk because of the noise level but very good overall.
This was our third time eating here, but first time for dinner. Previously we had enjoyed great service and the creative delicious tapas. This time once seated we were given great water service but no food or drinks. We mentioned the lack of service to the staff twice and eventually one of them stepped up to cover our table. We had asked if the cart with special tapas would be going around and were told yes it should cone out soon but it was greatly delayed until the end of our meal.
Busy night for pre Mother’s Day dinner. Ate dinner at the outside area by the bar. Food was great as usual. Service was ok. Waitress was extremely busy. Staff brought out food but forgot a dish. This is still my wife’s favorite restaurant so will be back.
We really enjoy this energetic restaurant and the bar. We there on a hot day and the sangria was wonderfully satisfying. This recipe, we're told, actually takes 2 days to make and extract all the flavors from the fruit... really terrific. The food is always special served tapas style. Various Paellas are available and the 40oz tomahawk steak is amazing. Make your reservations a few days ahead for the weekends. We'll be back!
A great experience in every way. We went to catch up for a weekday lunch. The food is delicious. We usually enjoy the tapas but tried the lunch sandwiches this time. They were delicious. We were allowed to stay and talk long after our lunch was finished. We were never made to feel unwelcome. We will return over and over!
The food was terrific, but our server was a little rude to us to begin with. We sat for 30 minutes after receiving a menu, and I finally had to go to the front to ask for service. Service improved over the course of the evening, but it still left a bad taste.
What a find. Delicious food, festive atmosphere, attentive and knowledgeable staff. And after dinner, we discovered Flamenco. A memorable evening.
First, I have to give them credit for saving my table after I was late fir over 30 mnts! I ordered the Sangria Barceloneta. I did not like it. Is really just a cocktail. I also ordered water, waiter said sure, but never came back. After a while he came back to take the order still now water. I started ordering and after my 4th. appetizer he suggested I stopped because I may be full with with just the appetizers! I like to order a lot and share! but he was serious he stopped taking the order so I said maybe I would like to order an entree at a later time. I finally got some water from a different waiter! Sight... Food was OK service was not. Too bad the place is nice would of liked to try the other Sangria and an actual entree.
Perfect for a big group. Fun and a wonderful variety of food.
The server was excellent and food was amazing
Couple of distinct thoughts on Teleferic Barcelona. First the food; we found the food to be very good, but it could have been just a touch better (duck a touch undercooked, empanadas slightly greasy). On the other hand, the Lobster paella, brussel sprouts and French Toast desert where wonderful. Service was just okay, certainly nothing impressive. Last, the place is quite loud with several large tables in the center of the dining room. Admittedly it was a Saturday night, but the parties at the large tables and all the piped-in music where just too much. If I was still single and in my twenties, this place would have been a party. Too bad, if the noise volume could be brought down a couple of notches, this would be a real fun place for all.
Food was delicious and service was very good. Despite the crowd we weren't rushed through our meal.
I was dying to try it after seeing it once featured on “Check Please,” but it was just ok. It’s a trendy spot. The food was ok. Nothing really spectacular. We tried a lot of the appetizers and a main dish. Eh. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there again but if I happen to be nearby ... I would probably try a new place.
No te puedes equivocar con ninguno de sus G&Ts.
Food was wonderful. Lobster paella was especially delicious along with special heirloom tomato salad. Service was very good.
Such a fun experience! Loved all of the small plates, especially the octopus. Will definitely be back.
The quality of the food was excellent. Usually when I order octopus I find it tasty but chewy. This octopus practically melt in my mouth. By far the best I've ever had. The ceviche was great, too. We had two different sangrias, and they were not particularly flavorful and felt rather watered down, though. The price of the food is quite high for what you get, though. With prices like that, especially with the drinks, though, I don't see myself going there except on special occasions.
Basic food was good. For example, the grilled octopus, fried potatoes, and steak were excellent; the sauces on them not so much. Service was disappointing on the day we went for lunch. We may try again.
We we were really impressed with the flavors and presentation of all the food we ordered. I’m not really a “foody” but the different tastes were unusual and amazing. My buddy was taking photos of the courses and hunted down the chef afterwards to tell him how impressed we were - something he’s not done before that I know of.
This is a tapas place so the portions are not huge but the food was excellently prepared and we left without being stuffed. Even the coffee at the end of meal was above what one normally expects. This is one place we will definitely go back to. We were there on a Tuesday evening so not many people and noise level was low.
The only complaint would be that the wait staff was too quick to remove stuff even though there were empty tables and no one waiting. Had to stop two items from being removed before we’d finished consuming them and the bill was picked up before the other person added their card to split bill (ie I ended up looking like a hero for picking up the tab). So, service much better than the opposite extreme but still mildly annoyed to be rushed.
I was there for happy hour 2 days in a row Brianna, John and Jeff always make sure I am well taken care of. Management always comes to say hi, even kitchen management and they always make sure I always have a great experience. Thank you for taking such good care of your regulars!. I'll see you guys next week ☺
I’m a foodie and I LOVED this place! They have a cart they come around with (like when u go to dim sum) with lots of choices. All are $5. I tried 4 different things and all were really good and nothing like I’ve had before. Also ordered flatbread good but not a meal in its self as well as hanger steak which was very tender but a small portion. The sangria was good too. A lot of fun for a foodie!
What a great place! I loved the food and the atmosphere! I will definitely going to return many times and recommend this restaurant to others as well.
Excellent and imaginative cuisine. Our first time visit will certainly merit a return as well as a visit to one of their restaurants in Barcelona this fall.
