Superb service from Mark & Viktor! Thank you so much for the hospitality and to be knowledgeable about wine and explain which one is which best pair with our food and what region the wine came from, Impressed! In regards to our tomahawk, i have been a fan of teleferic in palo alto, i always highly recommend them, however the one LA i felt like the tomahawk was not seasoned well and thaw quickly it has a distinct taste that just got out of the freezer. The squid ink paella was not as the same serving in palo alto. Spanish cuisine is one of my top favorites i have expectations and this location slightly did not meet that. But overall will still recommend. Thank you guys.

Beautiful decor and ambience. I really wanted to love it but ….food didn’t not impress and so average! Selection of tapas is mostly focused on tapas made of potatoes and lacking seafood options and olives. Jamon is of a good quality but that’s about it. Lobster paella was okay, all it had was 4 large shrimps and lobster tail cut into 4 small pieces…In my opinion authentic Spanish places are more generous with amount of seafood as it’s huge part of Spanish cuisine. Comparable to quality of touristy restaurants except that it is not…. Drinks were solid and tasty. I wish music selection was something other than Bad Bunny.

It was a nice restaurant and pretty good paella. Didn’t love that they had 2 pieces of bread in an appetizer that was being shared by 3 and when we asked for more bread we were charged. Also didn’t love that 18% gratuity was included for a party of 3.

Another delicious and satisfying dining experience at Teleferic celebrating my cousin’s UCLA graduation! This is the best place for paella, and you must have it socarrat style! All the tapas are excellent too; you can’t go wrong no matter what you pick.

The worst so-called Spanish food I’ve ever eaten! Of 8 plates ordered, only one was good: the octopus. The croquetas, a very basic Spanish food, were very bad. Practically everything was horrendous. The food was flavorless!!! Lousy is the nicest term I can think of!!! The squid ink paella was the biggest letdown. We were a group of 5, including a chef and myself, a Spanish food aficionado, so at least we 2 were very well versed in Spanish food. The paella was so bad that 3/4 of it was returned uneaten. The waitress tried, but even she was short on her knowledge of the food. I asked 3 questions about the items on the menu and she didn’t have the slightest idea of what I was asking!!! The worst part about this is that on top of the bad food, we were smacked with a tab that we paid for in full, as if we had eaten a full meal. I’ll give credit to the hostess who came to the table to hear us out, but even that did very little to make us feel better. This was a horrible experience. Telèferic is a restaurant that I will never return to!

While the service and food were enjoyable, I was a little disappointed that the restaurant didn’t recognize that we were celebrating our anniversary. I had indicated it on the reservation (as I wanted it to be a surprise and not mention it to the host in front of our group) but it was not acknowledged at all.
