I personally think that restaurant business is not only for foods business but also and more of people business. Why? If it is only for foods business, you do not have to put makeup on, to dress well, and to go out there. You just stay at home, wear PJs, and have your favorite foods delivered. When I need to see someone and need to talk, I want to go out somewhere with nicely designed interior, quiet nice music, good foods and drinks, AND good service. TEISUI is perfect for that. Their menu is very creative; done by Chef Mr. Taguchi who always stands behind sushi counter. The place is perfect size for Mr. Taguchi to watch his customers how they enjoy his foods. I recently started tasting his sushi yet I have gone the restaurant quite often. I thought that I know sushi very well but I was wrong. How he prepares of his fish for sushi was new discovery for me. He ages some fish for 3 or 5 days depending on what kind. I had 5 days aged striped jack nigiri sushi. It was just OMG sushi. Sweet fish fat, adequate chewiness, flower like flavor, WOW! every bite was mouth watering. This restaurant's remarks are not only the sushi. The servers OMOTENASHI (Japanese word for "hospitality") is really outstanding. I became a big fan of this restaurant and can rely on any special occasion; eg special friend's birthday, guests from Japan or any other countries, or meeting for boy friend-to-be!!

Last time we were there, the Sushi was delicious. This time, it wasn’t as good as the last time. We hope they resume Yakitori menus.

Sake selection was quite good and enjoyed the flavor. I came here for Yakitori but they were very tiny size and not remarkable as well as other appetizers. I would go Yakitori Totto or Torishin for yakitori next time.
