    We celebrated our anniversay at Tei Tei Robata last weekend, and it was our first time visiting. No wonder it's been around for such a long time! The food was excellent (fresh sushi, wide range of options, etc.), the service was impeccable, and the vibe was just right - intimate, quiet, and very zen. While it's not cheap (as is the norm with most sushi restaurants), it's a great place for a special night out!

    Alway and always the BEST time at this jewel sitting in Knox-Henderson area! Sushi is always fresh, and I don’t even need to say anything for robata - it’s the best!!

    One of (if not The) best dining experiences we have had in Dallas. Wonderful service, welcoming cozy environment, Every plate of the Omasake was even better than the last, amazing flavors and incredibly fresh. This is now at the top of my essentials list!

    This place is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to in my entire life. Amazing service, amazing amazing food, prices were extraordinarily reasonable. Love it here. Place is seriously a hidden gem Dillon & Wynona are perfect servers. Ask your server for recommendations you won’t be disappointed. I love this place

    One of the best Japanese food we had tried in the metroplex. The place is cozy and feels authentic. Not over crowded but I recommended making reservations. We love it! Will be coming back for sure

    We made reservations about three weeks in advance and informed them that it was our 20th-anniversary dinner. knowing it was anniversary, the waitress seemed to make very little effort to make it a special occasion for us. We were seated in the walkway of the restaurant. We asked if we could be moved to the vacant sushi bar area, but she informed us that there were no reservations available there and those seats had remained empty throughout the evening. The food was great, and our water glasses were filled. At the end of the evening, we had hoped for a complementary desert considering we had spent over $200 and it was our 20th anniversary. Instead, we were offered a menu with a $6 dessert, which we gladly paid for. We weren't expecting anything extravagant, but we had hoped for a little more attention to detail for our special event. In terms of ratings, we would give the food a five-star rating, the value a four-star rating, the ambiance a 3.5-star rating, and the service a 2.5 to 3-star rating. Would we go back for a special occasion? Probably not.. there are many other places to consider.

    Probably just my order choices, but I’ve ordered Aji before at other places and it was perfectly tasty and crispy without the grittiness. Also ordered the beef on the rock and found it to be surprisingly gristly. The smoked salmon sushi was awesome, as was the mocktail and chocolate mousse. Service & atmosphere was excellent and exactly what I was looking for on my birthday.

    I’ve always gone for the sushi which is top quality and good portions. This time a ventured to the cooked menu. Miso sea bass is cooked over charcoal and so tasty. Must try with Yuzu spicy rice ball and corn on the cob cook the same way. Excellent side for the sea bass. Of course, must still start with sushi roll and sashimi with a Sapporo. Chefs welcome you in and the service makes for a wonderful dining experience. Thank you!

    There's not enough words to describe how delicious everything was. We had washu beef on a rock, cornflake crusted shrimp, yuzu marinated pork jowl, miso sea bass, corn and baby back ribs. The beef and potato croquettes were wonderful. Service was great and the staff is very friendly. What a nice unique way to celebrate my birthday

    Tei Tei is an amazing traditional Japanese fine dining experience. It has just enough style and ambiance without being too modern or too trendy. The robata grill is the distinguishing feature, but the sashimi and sushi is of a exemplary quality. We like to order a fresh whole dish from the robata grill.

    We always have a great experience at Tei Tei. We had Zoe as our server and she is so sweet and kind. She is very thorough and very attentive. All the food was so fresh. We were taking a family member here for the first time and he was blown away! Thank you for always giving us a great dining experience!

    We have had great experiences here in the past - this was sub-par. We were celebrating our anniversary and had an early (5:30) reservation. Had no idea the restaurant didn’t open until 5:30 and were curtly turned away at 5:20. We pivoted and went to The Porch for drinks first and that was fantastic - the pretzel at the bar is outstanding.

    Food is fresh and tasty. Cornflakes fried shrimp is the dish you want to order. Drinks are okay nothing to drive home. Overall very good and will come back.
