Very classy, both environment and food. Feel smooth and comfy after enjoying the food here. And it is worth mentioning that the entrance has unique oriental characters.
It was great food but I knew it was the limit 1:45 mins for table but I could feel from the stuff pushed us to order the food many times. I understand that 50% capacities makes hard for the restaurant, but we wanted to enjoy the meals. Hope that the next time will more relax it would be nice if we can sit the table more than 1:45
Amazing food & service! I appreciate this business practicing social distancing and COVID precautions even as other restaurants have opened things up completely. It made for an amazing dinner without concern of over crowding. We just love this place!
it was a really great experience! beautiful ambiance and delicious food. everyone was extremely friendly and took great precautions with COVID. i would definitely recommend this place to a friend!
Amazing food and hospitality as always! We love, love, love the fresh seafood; whether raw or grilled on the robata. And our favorites (curried tongue and maitaki mushrooms) were as they normally are - perfect!
Great service and amazing food
The interior is okay nothing to mention but the food is by far the best in Dallas when it comes to Japanese food. Far better than Uchi which terrible for a restaurant in the same price range.
Very unique and different restaurant. I highly recommend it. Great value, excellent food, and service.
We have been coming here for many years and have never bee n disappointed. One of our favorite restaurants in the world!
Very good, but a few dishes weren't up to par. Nice ambiance and excellent service. Beef tongue on hot rock was a bit tough, and the fried mini-crab appetizer was just weird, at least to my taste. Tiny crabs deepfried - the waiter likened it to soft shell crab, but this was not the vibe at all. Although edible, the tiny crab shells seemed harsh and rough. Sushi was good but less than great. Rainbow roll was beautiful and delicious. Grilled artichoke, okra, and branzini were outstanding - especially the fish. Pricey, but overall worth the cost.
best sushi in town, hands down. it has been this way for years now. no new twist on the classics, but the classics done better than by others.
I should have called to enquire what sitting at the bar ment as it was not the placement or experience we were expecting. The lighting was rather bright and the area smelled a bit fishy. I recommend the other dining options. The people clearing our table were super sweet.
The food has a universal salty taste.
Great food, we trusted the special and were not disappointed! Highly recommend the place.
Grand. Love it always
The best Japanese restaurant in the DFW area. The service is outstanding and the food is second to none.
The food and service was EXCELLENT! Zoey was our server and she was very attentive. We ordered the black snapper, grilled prawns, grilled artichokes, baby yellowtail carpaccio and sashimi special. Everything was so good and fresh! Highly recommend the black snapper.
It was an outstanding experience, food , service and environment all great
The fish was fresh as usual and very good quality. Tei Tei is amazing and never disappoints.
Best sushi spot in Dallas! Have the negi toro roll, octopus karage, and anything on the robota!
I ordered assortment of sashimi for one person and I was so surprised how generous it was. I think it had 7 different kinds and some were two pieces. Tried something new, crab soup with rice and it was delicious especially when the weather was cool. I love this restaurant. Highly recommend it!
Great fresh food. Love watching grilling in open kitchen.
Always amazing. Some of the best sushi in DFW and the best robata.
Service and food was good as usual. Biggest issue is our 6:30 reservation was capped at 1.30 hours. We wanted to order more food but the waitress told our our time was up! I like to enjoy and take my time with dinner and so for that reason I probably won’t be back.
Incredible experience- from the beautiful atmosphere to some of the best (of not THE best) sushi of my life, I cannot recommend Tei Tei Robata Bar enough. Service was perfect. Food was Perfect. Cocktails were amazing. Reserve in advance and sit at the bar like we did (and watch the action) or the cool authentic Japanese dining table.
Incredible food and amazing service. Will be back again.
Fantastic sashimi. Delicious food and great service.
We go to Tei Tei every time we are in Dallas. Love everything about this place!
Everything was perfect. This is THE place to go for authentic Japanese food. Phenomenal.
Our first time here and they exceeded our expectations. Would definitely go back and a must try.
one of the best asian restaurant in Dallas. Every thing was excellent
Incredible food and incredible service. Best sushi in Dallas, and fantastic cocktails! Our favorite place to eat in DFW.
Always the best sushi and service in Dallas
We made last minute reservations and they were very accommodating. Food and service were exceptional. Restaurant is doing good with practicing social distancing.
Hands down one of the best if not best Japanese food in Dallas
It was great!
Business partners in town from Korea
We went here for our daughter's 13 birthday. We hadn't been in about 15-20 years and it was still very good! The tables were spaced out and everyone had on masks. We had a variety of items, soup, sashimi, sushi, robata sea bass, tempura vegetables, wagu beef cooked on a hot rock at your table, cocktails, etc. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is nice and this place is very small and intimate. I consider tei tei a special occasion place due to the price point. My husband and I each had two cocktails and our daughter had a mocktail and the bill was around $300. The service is efficient and friendly. Thanks!
