Wonderful lunch on the patio. Tennile, was great, greeting me with a smile and making sure my meal was perfect. The All American burger was great! One of my favorite places for a great meal. Highly recommend!

The food was just okay. A friend recommended this place, and it was not great. I thought it would be a good lunch spot, and maybe the other locations are better, but this Ted's was mediocre. The crispy chicken sandwich was okay; it needed some flavor. My husband's steak was cold, chewy, and horrible, and my son's roast beef was cold and lacked flavor. My daughter's grilled cheese with the short rib was average too. We came here for a good lunch after her graduation but were sorely disappointed!

Went for brunch.. Food was really good, tasted really fresh, fresh drinks, I had a virgin strawberry lemonade I believe and it was great I could tell it was fresh as well. Tiffany was our server, she was great.

Great restaurant and the food really is fantastic. We've had several visits here and each dish is always well prepared. We had a couple of cocktails too and they were excellent. My only complaint on this recent visit was that our server didn't really know the menu as well as I did just by reading it. He didn't catch my order correctly and even when I realized he might have missed it and asked him, he realized the mistake. A minute later he came back and said, "oh well, you're getting both". I don't know what that meant but assume he meant I'd get what he incorrectly put in for me and also what I actually ordered. But when the meal came I had the wrong entree and the other (correct one) never arrived. The two entrees weren't too far off and we were headed to an event, so I ate what I received and it was very good. But ultimately, because the server didn't pay attention initially and didn't fix the error even when he knew the problem, I ended up not having the meal I ordered. Regardless, it's a great restaurant and I definitely recommend it.

Great restaurant with a good selection of menu items including all day breakfast. Good drinks, "boozy" milkshakes, and good decor. The service was very good too. I ate a dinner selection but my wife had breakfast for dinner and I ate a bite of her French toast--amazing! Almost like a dessert! I highly recommend Ted's Bulletin.

Food and service were top notch. Restaurant isn’t fancy looking inside but don’t let the appearance of the well worn atmosphere deter you. It’s obvious this place has served a lot of amazing meals. The staff have it down pat and are very welcoming. We will return on our next trip to DC. The Reuben Tacos were the highlight but all the food we ordered was amazing. Kids chicken and broccolini was honestly adult worthy in taste.

Not what we were expecting - but what a charming place this is! Not a huge place - we sat at a small booth near the open kitchen. The grilled cheese and tomato soup were fantastic and the reuben was the best we'd had in DC (not the best ever, but the best one on this DC trip). The boozy milkshakes were delicious and the service was outstanding. It was my husband's birthday so they brought him a complimentary housemate pop tart - it was fantastic! If I lived in DC I would order these by the dozen.

Great dinner and even better sercice for my family of 5. Manager went ablve and beyond by walking to nearby store to get soft drinks my kids requested that they didnt have. My wife and I were shocked and our kids were happy. Very rare to get that kind of service anymore. All the apps and food were great and a break from "bar" food while on our DC trip. I will make sure to eat there again and tell everyone going to DC to try Ted's out.

I was disappointed in the slow and confused service. It was obvious that our server was new and inexperienced. I understand that everyone needs to learn but it made for an awkward experience. Food was good but expensive for what we received. Was not impressed with their "famous" tarts. I had assumed they were a tart like a small pie. They ended up being like a "pop tart" only ours were a bit burnt and we couldn't finish them.

Loved it! Had breakfast this morning, hubby went for the burrito while I am fairly simple, and enjoyed the ted Tart with coffee. Well we were not disappointed. We had three tarts, the strawberry, s’more and the cherry blossom. The buggy throughly enjoyed his breakfast, and the staf found me a t shirt that I truly love! In fact, were were so overjoyed, that dinner is being scheduled there tonight! Can’t wait to try the PB& J shake! Thank you to Gustavo (the host) and our server with the Star Wars tie (whose name has escaped me but he was equally as charming). Not sure what we are are going to enjoy for dinner,, but what ever it is, I am sure will be delicious!

Slow service. Another server had to go find our server. It took 20 minutes to put in a drink order. Server brought out the wrong drink. Food and drinks didn’t arrive at the table at the same time. Some people had their food for several minutes before others. One dish came out cold. Not worth a special trip to eat there. Plenty of other places with better service.

First time at a Ted's Bulletin (capitol hill location) and was not impressed. Portions were small, especially for the price. Grilled cheese sandwich contained very little cheese; the Mediterranean wrap had very little chicken and was extremely small. The "seasonal" dessert - cherry cream pie - consisted of canned cherries (not sure what is "seasonal" about that) and a commercial tasting crust. Even though the "bottomless" coffee came in a carafe, it was inexplicably cold. Finally, the kitchen floor was incredibly dirty (you can see the kitchen on the way to the restrooms). The restaurant was full (mostly with young families) so they must be doing something right. But not for me.

The server was painfully slow, and inattentive to the point that we had to have our dessert removed from our tab because it took him so long to get through the other tables that he had. The food was bland, and my wife and I found ourselves adding salt and pepper to every single dish. It was not a busy night. I just don’t think he was very experienced as a server.

Coffee can be better. I feel latte is too creamy. Not sure if the restaurant uses real milk or creamer. Omelette is delicious.

Great food and atmosphere. A bit of a walk from capital south metro and a little iffy part of town. But worth it. The food was great and the Ted Tarts are a must!! Little pricy for a breakfast but good way to start a busy touring day

Great for families with young, energetic children, but not the best choice for adults only. The service was great and food was ok.. salmon was wonderful, with an overly large amount of Brussel sprouts and potatoes; the Mediterranean wrap with salad was great; the country fried chick way overcooked and the miso glazed cod was just “ok”.
