Our Server Waynie was amazing 😍
We eat at Ted’s every Saturday for breakfast and two of our last three visits we had to wait over 9 minutes for the server to take our drink order. On both occasions the manager stepped in and got things moving. Though we had to wait this morning our server Kristina was excellent and will ask to be seated in her section on our next visit.
It was all good, except it was on an unexpectedly cold day and the temperature in the restaurant was frigid, probably colder than outside. I had on a sweater and was still cold!
Wife had the salmon and that evening was violently sick from both ends Not a good night and food in general was only fair institutional level food. We will not return.
Great date option. The food is good, prices are reasonable for Arlington Area, it’s an all around nice place. Also the deserts are amazing, so easy to just grab a drink and some desert if a first date.
Went with 3 others got a Saturday reservation at 715pm Arrived seated right away -even though quit busy. A little noisy but we were seated toward the back and it was fine for hearing dinner conversation. Food came rather quickly after drink orders. Waiter was very good. Prices a little high but great food quality. Had chicken parm, swordfish, mexican salad, and crab cakes. Good portions even had some leftover to go. Overall 8 of 10. Will go again.
It was okay, not great.
And requiring 50 characters is a pain
Simple and good. Tasty, quick, friendly, and variety.
Breakfast at the bar.
Food and service were really good. Like the crabcakes. Wish they had a better chard on the menu. The current one tastes like a pinot grigio.
Service was extremely slow. A baby carriage blocked our table. My dinner was cold but the restaurant is pretty.
Just ok nothing special.
Server was a little overwhelmed, but was friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious and hit the spot.
Requested an outside table, but none was available. We were given a table right next to the kitchen, which was not iideal.
Our server was phenomenal.
We had a reservation and were seated in the booth by the kitchen and another service door. The waiter was friendly. I ordered the Mexican salad. The waiter asked how I wanted my steak. Only later did I realize that the steak was an "add-on!" My salad came without dressing, and there wasn't any cheese under all the lettuce either. The dressing, avocado, and steak were good, but the advertised poblano stuffed fried tortillas were rock hard and tasteless. Another in our party tried these and had the same reaction. The manager came by, smiling, to ask how we liked our food. So I told him about the tortillas. I had put them on my bread plate, so the manager asked if he could take them back to the chef, which he did. We never saw the manager again! Another in our party had a different salad, rated "nothing special," but another friend raved about the spare rib pot roast.
We liked the place a lot. Food and service were fine, but it is NOISY. I guess that's what people must like, but I hate having to yell to be heard.
Great new place in Ballston! Service is a little slow so if you are in a hurry just account for that! Wide variety on the menu and serve breakfast all day!
Love the design of the new Teds and the food is on point. The chicken parm was really good and make sure to get a salad because the dressings are really good.
The food was delicious, the service was fantastic (excellent recommendations), and overall the experience was flawless! We will definitely be back.
Great options, good food. Shakes are not to be missed.
The staff are clearly excited to get this location going and to make it a great dining experience. We really enjoyed them.
We had a really good meal and a wonderful time.
We had a fabulous time at the new Ted's Bulletin in Ballston quarter. It's a little more modern than the Ted's we're used to on Barrack's Row -- it's got more of a swanky vibe, but still totally fine to bring your family (we brought our 2-year-old and 3-motnth-old). Our service was great and the food was delicious. Can't wait to go again.
Excellent service and food quality is consistent with original Ted’s. Great addition to the neighborhood!
Beautiful place and excellent service!!
Food was disappointing
Our server was terrific and very informative and attentive. The fired cauliflower appetizer was good with a spicy zing, but way too salty. The salmon entree was delicious and well prepared. Meatloaf was excellent but carrots were undercooked. The open dining room creates energy, but also creates a lot of noise in addition to the background music that is fairly loud to cover the talking in the kitchen. This makes it difficult to have a conversation without raised voices -- even with the server. Prices were a bit higher than what we have seen at comparable type restaurants. Looking forward to trying the breakfast options.
The service was amazing and the food is even better. We had a new server, we could tell he was a bit nervous about his service, however he did a very good job. I had the best burger I have had in a while and my girlfriend had the best pot roast ever.
Looked great! Good atmosphere. Looking forward to seeing it on a regular day, especially for breakfast.
My husband and I went for their soft opening last week. It was absolutely fantastic- the food, the service, the ambiance (GORGEOUS inside). All the good vibes! The menu is smaller than other locations, but it is a small menu with all of the right things as options. I would highly recommend Ted's Bulletin- Ballston to everyone (gal pals, families, for a date).
Great food but a bit pricey. Also very noisy.
soft opening and training
Food was great. Great vibe! Love the look of the place. The waiter (Francisco) we had was THE BEST!! Good guy, made sure we had everything we needed. Overall a good time!
The food was delicious! The waiters still need to have a routine down and we were seated next to the kitchen where we could hear the chef yelling out orders so it wasn’t the most quaint atmosphere. Other then that I would recommend this place! But just asked to sit away from the kitchen!
Alanna is a spectacular server. Professional, polished and great at her job. She ROCKS. Food is pretty good. My medium rare steak was too rare. Eggs were perfect. Salmon toast good, but a little bland. Noise level is way to high. I love Teds. Am so glad it is near me in Ballston.
