A very nice barbecue spot with seats inside and outside. Parking lot is a bit crowded due to competition with the 9 hole golf course.

Servers are doing their best, but have zero idea what they’re doing. The tables are packed together with golfers walking through to the first tee. Parking lot is a nightmare. There was no point I which I could relax because there was so much going on around me.

I’ll start by saying that we were there on Fathers Day, and it was apparently their busiest day of the year. So I will cut them some slack. But there were too many problems for me not to say something. We arrived for our reservation at 6pm and were sat relatively quickly. We ordered drinks, which took about 30 minutes to arrive. We put in our food orders (sampler platter, pizza, sandwich, two pounds of wings, ceasar salad) at 6:30, and that was the last we saw of our server. A different server let us know around 7:15 that our food was almost ready, and that they were out of ceasar salad. Everything except the pizza arrived around 7:30, and we were told the pizza was just getting made then. The place was clearly overbooked for the size of kitchen and nobody else was getting food (the table next to us still didn’t have food when we left a little after 8). The food was good - no complaints there. We flagged down a different server around 7:45 and said we would take the pizza (apparently still being made) to go. At 8 we saw our original server fly by and asked for the bill. At 8:15 (still no bill) we went to the front and paid there. Apparently the pizza was not even being made yet, so we didn’t pay for it but there was no other offer of compensation. Our server never came back to our table after taking our food order, so our water and drink glasses sat empty for over an hour. Overall, the food was good but the service was terrible. I understand it was a busy night, but if you can’t handle that many people, don’t take that many reservations and don’t seat walk ins.

The service was extremely slow and disorganized. The first time a waitress came we ordered an appetizer pizza and drinks. We were told that she would be right back to take our dinner order and we didn’t see anybody for over 20 minutes. Tables that came in after us were already getting served their food before we had even placed our order. After waiting 45 minutes, we then asked if our pizza would be coming and they realized that they had given it to a different table. There’s no apologies. We were just told we had to wait three more minutes for a new one to be made. The food overall always mediocre. It wasn’t very hot and we waited an extremely long time for it. We were not offered any discount for the mishaps and we just overall or not very pleased. We used to love going there on a regular basis, but we don’t think we’ll be back.

We shared the Sampler Tray: a-mazing! Brisket melted in your mouth, chicken was very flavourful, the baked beans were fantastic, corn bread muffins were very moist…all of it was wonderful!
