We love Teca! It’s consistently good!
Birthday dinner was delicious as usual! Love the skillets that the gnocchi is served in.
Saturday night, very busy, we made reservation via open table, we were at a 4top in the middle of the bar, people kept pushing into us from all directions. Good food just too many tables in a small space. VERY loud
Always a wonderful experience, from the great service, food and general ambiance. You can end up spending a lot of money, but you do get what you pay for. The aged NY strip is my favorite now washed down with a Chianti Classico. Recommend that you book a table on Fridays or Saturdays as it does get very busy those days.
Business lunch, everything was great. After we all had a black eyed pea soup with panchetta, which was light and flavorful, Had the agnolotti with a great cream sauce which was tasty but very rich. My wife had a buffalo mozzarella salad, enough to take some home, and our friend had the branzino, filleted at the table. Wonderful meal with great service, unrushed but attentive.
Our third time trying to give this restaurant a try. Service was horrible, the gnocchi taste like someone poured ragu sauce on it, the risotto was bland and mushy. The Chicken is always good and that is it. Had to get up and look for our server twice, the place was slow. Asked for bread twice. I called ahead and said it was a birthday dinner. We walked in and they asked if we had a cake, the birthday guest looked uncomfortable. Just all bad. We are done.
Teca is always great. My salmon was ok, not great and somehow the air conditioner got turned on, which made it pretty uncomfortable. The server had that fixed and everything else was fine. We will defiantly be back.
Wonderful Valentine's Day meal. We loved having the regular menu (not limited to 2 or 3 choices as many places do). We enjoyed sharing a plate of mussels in white wine garlic sauce. Both the filet mignon and tagliata entrees were perfect. As were the almond cake and chocolate fondant cake for dessert. Great service and did not feel rushed, even though it was a busy night.
Excellent Food Service and Atmosphere. The Burrata special is a MUST!
Had dinner with friends a table for 4. Waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. Great shareable appetizer and salads. All at the table had a form of seafood (Grouper, Salmon and Shrimp) everyone enjoyed their meal. We passed on desert.
Overall an outstanding experience! The food was superb and the service exceptional. We plan to return often.
It was our first time there and we went with friends. We sat upstairs and loved the ambience.
Our waiter Jameson was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. He definitely made our experience better.
Will come back....
Spouse and I out on “ date”. Had ben some time since had been to Teco. Too long as turned out! Definite good vibe as waited for table- friendly bartneder and forgiving customers in crowded bar made wait more than tolerable. Excellent food and excellent service made it an excellent date! The taos menu always seems fresh and innovative. Also got food drinks very promptly-especially noteworthy given how busy. Will come again-sooner rather than later!
Our dinner was wonderful along with our waiter. It might just be my new favorite restaurant.
For 6 adults it was pretty pricey for the quality of food we got.
Good food, good drinks, good service. Good God, let's eat! One of our favorites.
I have always enjoyed the food at Teca, however my last visit was disappointing. The eggplant rollatini was overlooked and dry
Food, atmosphere and service were all top notch at this fantastic find in downtown West Chester! They also have the perfect room upstairs for parties! Had my daughters 16th birthday party there and everyone had a blast! The staff was so attentive even though they had to deal with a bunch of screaming 16 year old girls! There really is no reason to go into the city when there are places like Teca in our backyard!
Not a lot of Gluten Free options. Food ok. I thought
Service was very good. Extensive drink lists, both wine and cocktails. Food was excellent and plentiful. This was a very nice dining experience.
Our sever Jameson was wonderful! Very knowledgable and passionate about the food he was serving. Food was delicious! It can get a bit noisy, but it has a fun atmosphere.
Teca is one of our favorite West Chester restaurants. I love their lasagne, but my wife and I shared the Dover Sole and it was delicious.
Sunday lunch with friends. However wish there were more brunch items available than the normal lunch menu. Server, Jaimeson was very attentive and thoroughly explained items for us. Everything was very fresh. Suggest Sunday at noon offer several brunch type items.
Small plates are the best bet. High noise level. Great service.
We went to Teca for New Years Eve. We were seated immediately and Sean our waiter was terrific. He explained everything and answered any questions we had. He was knowledgeable about every app and entree. Our food was delicious and we would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Teca is on every of our favorite spots in West Chester. We were upstairs in a very cozy room with a great atmosphere. Our latest visit was New Years Eve and perhaps that was why things were not as good as usual. The salad dressing had too much vinegar and the pasta was too al dente. However, the salmon and Branzino were excellent as expected.
Not sure what type of cuisine they specialize in but seem like a lot of pasta dishes. If Italian is what you want, go someplace else. I’ve had better Italian at any generic chain restaurant. Waste of time and money.
The food and service was great. We sat in the upstairs which doesn't have the same decor or vibe as the downstairs so it change the overall experience a bit. I expect that they will continue to work on making it more warm and inviting. Great spot!
Second time here, great place. Food and service very good. Good for groups or date night.
Had a delicious early New Year's lunch with a high school friend. Service and food was wonderful.
I Had the filet and risotto special, there wasn't any flavor which was disappointing. On the other hand the caprese tower was really good. The Service was just ok so for the overall experience and price I probably would not go back.
The food was good & the server was attentive . We were in a very small dining space near s bar - the noise level was such that we asked to be moved one table over ... that was a waste of time ... it was terribly loud.
We selected a wine from the wine list $38 with a second choice at $ 44 - the server said ... Well if you like this you will love .... such & such ... a $54 bottle -
This sales tactic has now happened to us at both locations .... not happy
I said " no thank you , we would like either my 1st or 2nd choice ... go figure ... the $38 was not avail - of course the 2nd wine was avail.
This restaurant offers an extensive menu. The food is delicious and the portions are large. Atmosphere is energetic with a hip urban vibe. We sampled the pasta dishes and they were very tasty. A regular Ceasar salad is large enough to share. Great service at the bar and creative cocktail menu. Will definitely dine there again.
Our first visit and a great experience! We’re really high on downtown West Chester eateries and Teca is now on the “go to” list as well!
Although the food was good and the waiter was very good, it was a little over priced and felt more like a sports bar than a restaurant.
Great food and service. Too loud for dinner on Friday nights
A perfect evening with friends! They made us feel special and the branzini was to die for!
I'm always impressed at how well trained the wait staff is. The food is excellent.
Second visit to Teca for a birthday lunch. Again, did not disappoint. For staters, I tried the caprese tower and the birthday girl chose the calamari two ways. Both were very good. The main course was penne ala vodka with shrimp, and lobster ravioli. Our compliments to the chef on both dishes. The lobster ravioli was silky smooth with bits of lobster highlighting each bite. The penne had a delicious "kick" that was a delicious surprise. Mini cannolis and creme brulee were the dessert choices and were a perfect ending to a great celebration.
The service, atmosphere and most importantly the food were all outstanding. Our waiter knew the entree's intimately and made a few good recommendations. We will return!
