Excellent service and food. The owner worked along side of his team who were very attentive despite having every table full. I had the rigatoni with Sunday gravy and a veal meatball the size of a baseball. My wife got the halibut with artichokes and risotto. Both portions were hearty and the flavors superb. I set the bar high when it comes to Italian food and Teca exceeds the standard. We look forward to our next visit.
Always delicious and interesting selections
Try to sit outside if it’s nice weather
Teca West Chester never disappoints. This was the first year we tried Mother's Day Brunch and it was fantastic! Loved every bit of it and Xena our server was TOP notch!
A 7:45 reservation for 4 took nearly 3 hours to dine. I'm not sure what was going on but there was almost no communication on where our food was. While we waited over an hour and a half for our dinner to arrive the wait staff wasn't attentive, we had to ask for bread numerous times and felt abandoned.
It was crowded which is a good thing. We were put at a very small table without much privacy and in an isle e we here everyone was going past us on both sides! Food was good as usual and the waitress was super busy. Not my favorite experience with Teca, as I’ve dined there frequently
Great restaurant will be returning great food and drinks
Overall we were not impressed with this experience. While our server Cassandra was very attentive it was evident that the restaurant was overwhelmed or overbooked... took toooo long to receive our order and no response to a request to turn the air off/ down in the room where we were seated (wine room). Food was ok nothing exciting...been there done that probably won’t return.
Great food, nice servers, and very comfortable with my toddler and dogs. We will be back!
We ate outside, except for the noisy street traffic the setting was wonderful, comfortable, and wait staff very accommodating. Will definitely do lunch there again!
My wife and I had the Branzino dinner which was delicious. We can’t say the same for the Caesar salad, it needed more dressing and pecorino - tasteless.
My second Crown Royal Manhattan came with an orange slice floating on the bottom of the glass????
Great service and great food
The chicken Marsala was excellent! Huge portion, so great for leftovers. The mango martini is my go to!
It was a busy Saturday night. It took an unacceptable amount of time to get our orders. They acknowledged that and comped us our appetizers. Seems fair.
Perhaps it was pent up demand post-COVID, but the place was absolutely jammed. Outside, one could barely walk without hitting a table. Inside, every inch of the main dining area was taken up by a table. The main fellow (manager or owner, perhaps) saw our disappointment at our initial seat assignment and placed us in the wine room, which was a nice gesture. That room was isolated and initially quiet, but with all the hard surfaces, quickly became deafening once further occupied. The food was good. Perhaps given the reputation and pricing, my expectations were higher than they should have been. Nothing to really criticize on the food side, but nothing to rave about. My stuffed pork chop sounded flavorful when recited by the waitress, but didn't deliver anything unique. I ate a pork chop. We like West Chester dining but will avoid for a while until things settle down a bit with the crowds. Glad those businesses hit by COVID are getting a rebound. I'll sit on the sidelines for a while and try again later.
Food was fabulous. I love Teca. Wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable as always.
The food was delicious as usual and our server, Hannah, was the best!
Terrible experience. We sat down waited 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order. Then waited another 15 minutes still no drinks. The service was terrible and rude. We just left and will never return
Overall the experience was great and our server was awesome. My issue was that all three of the steaks our table ordered were way overcooked. We wanted medium rare and the steaks were well done.
I go here a lot. Always a great experience. Nice staff and great food
One consideration: I ordered a specific wine and only to find it was not what I ordered.
I learned this hearing another server telling my server they had been out of it. Another wine was served to me without telling me that what I ordered was not available. A bit annoyed about that ~ felt a little deceptive.
Teca has amazing tapas and cocktails. They were a bit short staffed during our visit due to Covid so the service was a bit slow but the servers were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Overall, we had a lovely and delicious outdoor lunch.
Always great food and great service... A bit too pricey...
Waitress provided excellent service. The drinks were great — we highly recommend the martini selection and we will definitely be back to try them all. The giant meatball appetizer was very worth it, but we could’ve used more bread to dip in that delicious tomato sauce. My partner said that he could’ve eaten the risotto special all night. Unfortunately we didn’t get to sample any desserts but maybe we will in the future. :)
The hostess stand situation needs attention. There was a crowd at the front door waiting to check in AND servers were going in and out with dishes and food through the same door! And shame on me for not remembering that when you order specials at Teca, you pay handsomely! I had the dover sole special and it was good, but not $48 good. It was basically prepared Picata style. I ordered extra veggies and no potatoes, but they actually gave me mashed potatoes instead of the roasted and no extra veggies. My husband had the veal chop which was market price at $38 and was unfortunately a bit tough and slightly over cooked. The burrata appetizer was FANTASTIC! The service was outstanding so thank you to Tara. If a friend were to ask, I'd say there are other Italian restaurants very close by that are just as good if not better but I would go back maybe in the summer and order a bunch of their amazing appetizers and small plates.
This was our first time at Teca and everything was perfect! Food was wonderful....we had a quiet area in the corner. I’m not sure how we would have felt if we were in the middle of the dining room.
Teca never disappoints. My daughter was in town from Pittsburgh and wanted to have a nice Friday night dinner. Our server Ava did a great job, very bubbly and kept the meal at a nice pace. All of us were very happy with our selections.
Food was great as usually. Very pricey however.
Noise from the street was excessive however waitress said they may close street in May. That would be great
My wife and I love Teca's outdoor dining!!! It is wide enough and spaced out enough to feel comfortable and it's like a unrehearsed dog show. Beyond the pleasant outdoors, the food and service is exceptional. Our server is always knowledgeable, engaging and well trained - they have a lot of specials that require a talented server. The food is always great as my wife ordered the Halibut which was amazing. I like a variety of things so I ordered the meatball - which is enormous and tasty - red sauce is thick and could be consumed like soup. I also ordered the Stuffed pepper special in red sauce and it was tender, meaty and filled with lots of cheese! We love this place!
Great food and service! Would definitely go back again!
Went during Easter weekend and they had a pre-fixed menu but food and service were good. Nice environment to go on a date, family or friends. Will go back.
We ate inside and the table distance does NOT comply with PA and CDC regulations. I did not feel safe or comfortable eating here. I wish I had read the reviews before making a reservation. Although I enjoyed the food and the service was good, it is extremely irresponsible of management to put customers and employees at risk. For these reasons, I cannot recommend and will not dine here again.
Went early and sat upstairs. Not crowded. Food was very good.
Nice lunch for four. Love the apps and the main course, Little issue in getting the correct order but it wasn't a big deal since all the courses and entries are great. Really had a nice time.
Great food and service. We ate outdoors and noted that the table distance does NOT comply with PA and CDC regulations. The hostess said, " I know" and when I asked why, said "I am not the manager." The restaurant management puts their staff and patrons in a difficult position with this. We were able to select a table away from others but will not return until they follow the policy as most other restaurants in the area do.
Great food and service as always.
Audriana was our server and she was wonderful! She made the night perfect! I can’t wait to go back and have her as our server again!!!
Good overall experience. Great food and service. Noise level is loud indoors, so be prepared.
Great food, great drinks and great service. Our go to spot when we're in the West Chester, PA area.
As always, food as excellent and service welcoming and efficient.
