Best tortellini I’ve ever had. Butter nut squash filled with browned butter/sage sauce. Definitely far from cheap but really delicious.
My family got the truffle fries and they were truly amazing! The tiramisu was incredibly delicious. The only con I have to mention is that it took our waiter a while to take our order and a while to deliver the check. However, when they took our order the food quickly came!
We are returning customers but brought friends with us who had never been to Teatro. Everyone enjoyed it tremendously. Food was fabulous and the staff was friendly and helpful. Big shout out to our server Wilson who was phenomenal!
Great menu options, food was delicious and our server was great. We loved everything about Teatro and would definitely visit again!
Wonderful cocktails staff were very friendly. Wonderful experience for a casual dinner.
Called re parking, totally hospitable hostess. Wait staff great, food yummy, parking discount great, close to Wilbur so all perfect! Thank you.
Delicious food and ample menu choices. Pleasant servers and front of the house.
Will go again!
Food was great; service not so. After having to wait repeatedly for service while sitting at the bar, we asked to split the bill in half and they came back with an additional $79 charge - glad I checked closely before signing.
Service and food was terrific! Will definitely eat here again.
Great service at a clean and delicious restaurant right in the Theater District. The shrimp scampi and butternut tortellini were scrumptious and well proportioned. Service was fast and friendly. The arugula salad was tossed in a salty lemon vinegar that I didn’t love but the prosciutto plate with fig chutney was great (and could feed a party of two). Will go back again next time I’m in the area.
We were early got our reservation so we decided to eat at the bar. The bartender was excellent, recommended a great wine and all the food was perfect. It was our first visit to Teatro and we will definitely return next time we’re in Boston.
The food and service was excellent. My wife and I really liked the whole vibe of the restaurant. We can’t wait to return for another great meal!
Always so delicious
The service really stood out. Nice food menu (something for everyone but not too much) and a very solid drink menu. Everything fairly priced.
Always enjoy this restaurant . Service good but my entree was more charred on the top than is desirable. Pricey for what I got
Delicious food and great service. We really enjoyed our dinner.
Teatro never disappoints - food was delicious, the service was impecable and it was everything we were expecting, and more. Thank you for always being consistent and always offer the greatest quality. We greatly enjoyed our first night out before the Boston Marathon.
highly recommend before show. Service was wonderful.
The food is tasteless. Caesar salad no punch. Should be a sharp flavor with mustard and Worcestershire and lemon. Very bland. The pasta w eggplant just plain boring. Please do better! We’re neighbors and want to come once a week. You were busy so maybe your clientele doesn’t care. We’ll give it another chance. But only one.
Don't order the chicken malinese nothing special about it. Order the calamari appetizer and risotto truffle - that was awesome. Friendly service. Noise levels and music was a bit too loud 📢
Great staff. The Manager was doing multiple duties, and was so friendly. We sat at the bar and had an excellent meal and service. Anna took care of us and I’d go back to Teatro just to have Anna working the bar. She was amazing. Will definitely come back.
The server was friendly, attentive, just all around perfect. The restaurant is so lovely, but I don't think it's a good choice for a date, or maybe a first date. The tables are sooo close together, and it can be a bit noisy. Someone brought an infant who was quite fussy, so it takes away from the ambience.
Great experience! Even met Doris Kearns Goodwin. Wonderful food as well.
Fantastic food and fantastic staff. Everyone was very attentive and they kept the table cleared and clean throughout the meal. The meatballs are a must try. Would absolutely return again.
Sunday night not much going on, service unremarkable but the food was outstanding. Waiters should upsell the grilled ciabatta with 5 different spreads - such a great starter. The tortellini was the best we've had in years. Super fresh pasta, wonderful cheese and sauce. I'd eat it every night if I could.
The food and staff were excellent! We ordered the calamari, and 2 amazing pasta dishes. Also a great vibe although the tables are a bit close together and getting up meant invading our neighbors space a bit. Otherwise excellent and fairly priced
Thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Thanks. We’ll tell folks about you.
Food was all disappointing. Very under seasoned.
Staff was courteous but it’s was clear entire operation was understaffed.
We waited forever for our food and it showed evidence of being kept warm vs. just being plated.
Teatro is always a winner!
First time at Teatro - and it will not be my last!
Tall guy with glasses is the best server (forgot his name) excellent service
Always love everything about Teatro
First night in Boston and this place was less than 5 minutes from our hotel. Seemed to have all kinds eating there and had a nice dim ambiance without feeling too romantic. Tables were perhaps uncomfortably close especially during COVID times. Feel bad that the table next to us basically got my butt served to them while shimmying into the booth. Most if not all dishes had half and full sizes very reasonably priced. Staff made sure to wipe downs the table multiple times during dining. Probably one of our cheapest meals in Boston and by far the nicest. Only real complaint beside the tightness of seats would be the noise caused by a curved ceiling but for the most part that can’t be helped.
Great food. Amazing service. It was just very hot inside. They need to turn up the air!!
I would bathe in whatever sauce they put on the mussel. Backstroke, like scrooge mcduck in this vault of money. In all seriousness, the food is delicious. Mussels and meatballs for appetizers were fantastic. We had pizza and the risotto for dinner, chanterelles were fantastic in the risotto. Affordable bottle of wine for my finance was a huge plus.
Have been here multiple time and will be returning ASAP.
Great chicken parm and milanese. Nice wines by the glass. Beautiful room, nice atmosphere. Good friendly service. Loved the panna cotta.
La comida no me pareció como la esperaba , servicio bueno y buen ambiente , pero no para repetir ..
Our food was delicious, inventive and beautifully plated and served by a friendly and professional staff in a very attractively designed space.
Overall a very pleasant experience, right before a show.
Food was wonderful - we had salads followed by pizza, more than enough for two. Deliciously lightly charred crust and zesty topping. Bartender able to be attentive despite the crowd. Great for pre-theater experience.
