The tea is a lovely idea. The view is of the strip but the office buildings directly in front are an eyesore to look at. Was able to see inside office building and it wasn’t pleasant. The carpet inside WA was completely disgusting. Needs to be replaced. Tea choices were good. Scones and sandwiches were tasty. Desserts were too sweet and tasted sore bought.
Beluga caviar and truffle cream cheese!!! The egg salad was just as good though. Great service and beautiful china. Monkey oolong was delicious. Though my sister had a migraine reaction to the rich desserts, but she almost always does. Great scones!
We enjoyed everything on our visit. The ambiance, the waitstaff and the view were all amazing. The food of course was my favorite, I haven’t enjoyed high tea like that since I was in London. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Vegas.
It was exactly what I wanted in a high tea time! It had a great variety of teas to choose from, the ambiance and the service was all wonderful! The best was the view! Totally recommend!
I would have to say that my experience with a friend was disappointing. As a local I had been to the Tea Lounge a few times when it was the Mandarin Oriental and enjoyed it immensely.
We had a beautiful table with a view and the ambiance was very peaceful and upscale as you would expect. We both enjoyed our tea choices immensely. Probably the best I’ve ever had. Beyond that very disappointing.
The biggest critique I have is that from the finger sandwiches to the pastries, there was not much of any substance other than the one very plain ham finger sandwich. Everything else was a shell filled with a whipped something. The cream cheese finger sandwich was just that. No cucumber or anything that made it that special elevated something, which is why of course that we choose to go to tea at a place such as the Waldorf.
My friend enjoyed the scones. I did not, and only had one, and I have had many high teas and scones over the years as I think it is truly one of life’s luxurious pleasures. Unfortunately not in this case. At the end, we did not finish the scones or pastries. I had half a whipped something pastry and gave up deciding it just wasn’t worth it.
My birthday tea party with a few of my girlsfriends, has a blast the food and tea was so good. The mad hatter tea is beet best and smells soo good.
cute and tasty!
Great service, best tea selection around. On the last point, why do so many afternoon tea salons not have appropriate afternoon teas? E.g. oolong, Darjeeling, etc.
Went to celebrate a job promo and engagement -
Perfect setting for an afternoon tea!
Food was great, ambience was great, view was AMAZING!
My only complaint is that we could’ve eaten twice as much 😂
And they did give us a small celebratory dessert!
I took my mom there to celebrate her 60th birthday and she said it was the best bday gift ever. The staff was great and they treated my mom like a queen. Thank you so much!!
The Tea Lounge at the Waldorf Astoria was excellent. My wife and I came across this in searching for something to do in Las Vegas that did not involve gambling, alcohol, or smoking. We've taken in afternoon tea in a number of places throughout the world, including London, Ireland, and New Zealand and this, surprisingly, was one of our favorites. If there is any criticism, it is that the scones and the clotted cream were not the best we've ever had, but the shortcomings there were fairly minor. The view is of the Las Vegas strip from the 23rd Floor of the Waldorf Astoria, so it was great. Even the valet who parked our car was engaging and very helpful. If you're looking to get away from the "hustle and bustle" of the "The Strip," this might be your place. We really enjoyed it....
Beautiful view, a little expensive, but I felt it was worth the price. Ask for a table by the window or you are missing out!
I have always wanted to do an English-style tea service. Being at Vegas, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was definitely not disappointed. The view was amazing, the tea selection was good, and the bites were delicious! I would definitely come back here next time we are in town.
Beautiful view of the strip, excellent service and delicious food and teas. Very nice experience, worth doing.
My family and I were very excited to try this Tea Lounge.
I was expecting it to be in a big room, but we were seated near the check in counter by the entrance. Still, I had high hope for a great hospitality and food service, after all it is Waldorf.
Despite our excitement, the service definitely could use some improvements.
I made a reservation 3 months in advance but it happened to be on the same day that there was very loud, drank customer also wanted to have a tea right next to us. She was cussing the whole time we were there which made our experience unpleasant. What disappointed me is the fact that the staff did not do anything about it. They just stood there even when they actually acknowledged my disappointment.
I expect it to be much better experience when I’m paying nearly $60 per person for tea lounge.
Food is not all that. The idea and view is great. Waitress would barely come by to see if we needed anything. They wouldn’t accommodate us when asked to add 3 more people and the whole time we sat there, there were 4 chairs next to us that stayed empty until we left. Disappointing and they could have tried harder to make it work.
We celebrated our anniversary and they took amazing care of us. We did ket then know ahead of time. The view was the best also. Great tea service and the deserts are delicious as well.
It was a fantastic experience! Honestly the view, food and tea was amazing. Definitely will be returning the next time we are in Vegas.
Nice ambiance with good quality food. Love love love!
Beautiful view. It offers many hot tea selection and food was ok. If you love sweet, this will be a great place.
I’ve been here before and it’s always wonderful.
Wonderful and unique experience
The tea service was lovely.
I've always wanted to go here for afternoon tea, and it did not disappoint. I had the perfect view of the strip, and the food selection was great. As a vegetarian, I had a good spread of food items, and the staff even gave me a birthday cupcake. It was a quiet space, and I didn't feel rushed. It was the perfect relaxing event before going back out into the strip.
They were wonderful!!! Thank you for the extra treat and for making our anniversary memorable!
Celebrating wedding anniversary
The ambiance was wonderful. The food presentation was beautiful. For the Waldorf Astoria, I felt the service and food taste was just ok. Overall, I would do it for the experience.
Gorgeous view, yummy food, fantastic attentive service - they accommodated our dietary restrictions for half the party wonderfully - great experience
this is a great place for a first date to be able to enjoy the view and get to know each other in a quiet, classy place
Wonderful view! Loved the experience! Will definitely return!!
The tea and scones were delicious. We got a oolong and earl grey tea which were both very smooth. 2 scones were provided-blueerry and cream. I wasn't impressed with the sandwiches and some of the desserts were very sweet. But the ambiance and view made up for that. I would go back just to have the tea and scones.
Lovely respite from the strip. Fabulous tea. Intimate for a couple.
Waldorf-Astoria's Tea Lounge is a perfect sanctuary to enjoy and chill from the many distractions of the day. #PerfectPlaceToChill
Excellent service, teas are top quality, brewed to perfection. Sandwiches and deserts are out of this world.
It was the perfect way to spend the hot afternoon with my daughters!
It was a good tea experience with a nice ambience overlooking the Las Vegas strip. Service was good, teas were also good. Sandwiches tasted good. However, the bread was a little dry. Scones were nice and warm.
We appreciated the gluten free options - esp. the tapioca w/ mango puree and the gluten-free scones. We also appreciated your giving my b-day guest and I comp flutes of champagne when your gluten free cake ran out. The setting was divine and our waitress was charming and took a memorable photo of us we will treasure! Thank you for a fine dining experience.
Great and friendly service. Would recommend to friends and the view is wonderful. Had a really nice experience.
Food was and tea was amazing. Very small and intimate setting. Staff was friendly and explained the menu in detail. Will go again.
