Could not think of a better place to spend July 4th. Front of house and Wait staff exceptional!! Food consistently delicious.

Amazingly fresh raw bar, excellent service. Happy hour has a disappointing and limited selection and tiny portions but main menu is always a good option. Lively room with small pockets of manageable conversation. Will be back.

While I enjoyed my meal, I found that it did not measure up to what I was accustomed at the older Mermaid in on the Upper West Side. I ordered the pei oysters, they were fine. Green bean tempura was good as was the charred asparagus. Unfortunately an otherwise tasty if not superb lobster roll (not enough Mayo in my opinion, was overwhelmed with an enormous helping of French fries. Don't get me wrong, I like French fries, but not to the point when they are overflowing on the plate and too peppery. Essentially lost my appetite as a result of such a daunting amount. A little coleslaw would have been better than all those fried potatoes which after all in the day and age we live in, are not the best for your health. I also missed the free chocolate pudding at the end of the meal. It was not offered.

Always awesome. This is our favorite neighborhood restaurant. So glad it’s back on the UWS!

It’s all ways a great and tasty experience at the Mermaid Inn / Great greeting and awesome food and service and for me the best burger on the UWS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Happy Hour Drinks & Appetizers were fantastic! Dinner menu is selective, yet has something for everyone. Ambiance was warm and welcoming - relaxed, yet you felt like you were out for a nice dinner. Service was top notch! We were very pleased with all menu items we ordered and look forward to returning again soon!

It is a nice restaurant with lots of atmosphere but unfortunately we were seated in the back area.

Fiun spot and amazing service. Server was delightful appetizers and milk came out moments after ordering.. the quality of the food was very good if a little simplified. Clam chowder was wonderful.. only suggestion would be a little better pacing
