    After reading previous reviews, I booked the reservation hesitantly, but the location and timing met our needs. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised and very pleased with our visit to TST and we will certainly return. My husband had the spicy fried chicken which though lacking in heavy spice was quite good, cooked well and accompanied by 2 sides of potatoes and Brussels sprouts that won him over as a brussel sprouts denier. I enjoyed the Wagyu beef burger though it could have used more aoili and was a little dry. The fries were perfect and I might appreciate a creative ketchup to dip in. The service was thoughtful and prompt. Overall, a great visit that we will repeat when we stay in the city again.

    Went here for Thanksgiving dinner with friends. The food far exceeded our expectations, and they hit all the holiday favorites. It was a good deal (buffet, $50pp) Will have to come back and try the regular menu. Recommend.

    I was concerned that the food was not goi g to be great because for thanksgiving it was a buffet menu, but everything was outstanding and the service was attentive and friendly.

    The food was an excellent selection of Thanksgiving favorites plus a couple extra comfort items (mac and cheese and fried ravioli with a delicious pumpkin puree.) Brussel sprouts and sweet potato were excellent too. Both the turkey and the salmon were delicious. Two salads and various cheese and meat appetizers. They had a nice selection of cocktails on the menu as well. Not cheap but just in budget for a holiday dinner buffet. Nice ambiance even with several families with well behaved kids there too. Its cozy enough that it doesn't encourage misbehavior. The only complaint was the pumpkin pie which was sort of gelatinized, like a pumpkin version of the filling in a pecan pie. (Couldn't help remark to my spouse that the Costco pumpkin pie is one of the best around.) But there were several other desserts there to compensate. That said, we're gonna be looking for an opportunity to check out Taylor Street Tavern again before Thanksgiving next year. It was just right.

    There was only one other table yet it took over 20 min to get 3 mixed drinks. The server was friendly but not in any hurry to do her job. Food was incredibly mediocre and clearly sat in the warmer for a while before being brought out because the whipped cream was completely melted. We won’t be back.

    Experience was the exact opposite of the first time we visited. Although the restaurant was much less crowded, the service was horrible. Orders not correct. Salads were very good, but the pizza came before we could take our second bite. Tried to switch and eat pizza first, but the toppings were so hot they slid off the slice. So, ate salad first, at which the pizza was cold and also tasted off.

    Ate here before a concert - just noshed through their appetizers - only 1 of the 5 things we ordered was worth it. Crab cake was overcooked, deviled eggs were bland, ahi tacos were overcooked and over spiced, fried chicken sliders were meh - too much breading. Only the Korean wings were good enough to have again. With so many dining options in Portland, this is a place I don't need to visit again.

    Pretty slow service. Heading to a show at 7 at the Schnitzer and thought a 5pm reservation would give us plenty of time - we had to ask for our food at about 6 … think it came about 6.10. Drinks were painfully slow as well.

    Taylor Street has become our go-to when going to the movies or just a fun night downtown. Their pizza, grilled steelhead, and salads are excellent and they have fun cocktail options

    It was a full restaurant, and the kitchen staff was unable to prepare meals in a timely manner. We waited an hour and a half for our food. When it finally arrived, my potatoes were cold and my salmon very undercooked.

    Everything was great, except the service... I'm not complaining about the server, but more like the kitchen service. I was there with a party of 11 taking out my clients for lunch, and our food all came out in waves. My dish was the last one to come out, it was a pizza- it took them 1 hour and 10 minutes to serve me this dish. Half of the dishes were salads, those took about 40 minutes to come out... My reservations were made weeks in advanced for lunch, so it's not like we surprised the staff with a big party. All the dishes we got were not dishes that would take a long time.. so not sure what happened. Disappointed because the food was good, but not sure I'm coming back.

    Our dinner was disappointing. This was my 2nd disappointing experience at this restaurant and had decided to give them another chance. We ordered an appetizer to share with our cocktails. It never came. We finished drinks and pushed glasses to the side and they weren't picked up. Our main dish came and we asked about the appetizer and then cancelled it. We shared the cheesecake for dessert and found it overly sweet with not much flavor otherwise. I won't likely go back, unfortunately, because it's such a great location for downtown things.

    Rating Sunday Brunch for Mothers Day. Realizing how few restaurants offered a Sunday Brunch but wanting a special meal for my mom…it was a total disappointment. Staff seems very nice but when seated initially so inattentive. It got better through the meal but by then the “good intentions” but poor delivery of the buffet became apparent. It wasn’t a Denny’s meal but for $50 it was less than satisfactory. I understand how difficult finding staff and cooks are right now but it was obvious the lack of training and thought that went into making a brunch special. Three buffet meals and 4 drinks was over $200 and you couldn’t help feel taken advantage off because of the occasion. Next year brunch at home and back to more consistent restaurants for dinner.

    My family and I went for Mother's Day brunch and it was actually very good, but the service was a little off. Our waitress seemed new so she didn't know a couple of things but she was very nice. The management seemed a little scattered with doing certain task so, that was a little distracting. Other than that, I would like to go back and try their lunch and dinner.

    We've been waiting for the chance to visit the restaurant all through their remodel and Covid. We enjoy The Taylor Street bar,but did not expect the menu to be so much the same on the restaurant side. The food was good, but the menu seemed limited. Service was very good. We will return, mainly because it is a lot quieter than the bar side, but generally I would prefer more menu options

    We dined before the symphony. Tuna dinner was very plain . The tuna appetizer was better but sliced vegetables were blah. Cocktail, wine, and dessert were good.

    Great place, the busier hours are kinda loud but not bad. I didn’t have to yell to be heard by my table. The drinks are strong and the service is great as long as the manager is there. Tony is amazing
