Located in the scenic and historic precinct of the Rocks Tayim aims to bring the wonderfully rustic flavours of the middle east to the forefront with a contemporary twist highlighted by the best sustainable produce from around Australia. Chef Ran Kimelfeld brings his wealth of experience and knowledge to present an exciting menu which will follow the seasons to excite the senses. The wine list and cocktail offerings have been curated to match the distinct flavours of the menu and will be will be a fantastic mix of the new and classics with a twist.

Exceptional service, beautifully minimal aesthetic, delicious food and a compact but on-point wine list. Will definitely be back.

The food and service at Tayim is very good. It is a well designed and interesting space. Plenty of options in seating and in food. Try it!

My hubby, son and I ate here on Sunday night. It was tricky to get here due to Vivid as many of the roads were blocked off. The restaurant is in a lovely little lane, however it is unclear as to where the actual front door is located! We enjoyed our meal very much. We shared a starter with dips, felafel and pita and the guys had the beef cigars. They then shared the lamb shoulder which was very tasty, soft and literally fell off the bone. The dessert menu is very small and we decided to give it a miss. It was a pity that they had run out of the fish and chicken options as we were keen to try them. The atmosphere is really good and overall it was a good experience
