We loved the 1/2 priced wine and the meals were all good. Beautiful seared tuna with greens, Osso bucco with risotto. Seafood pasta, i forget the other two but everyone was happy.

We brought my mother here for Mother’s Day and the service was TERRIBLE. The server seemed bothered by every request we had and the food took ages to come out. Every time we ordered something.. the server would respond with “we’re out of that”. Ideally I would have preferred knowing what the restaurant was out of prior to ordering. We also questioned if the restaurant closed at 8 pm to which our server replied “yup…” and stared at us. We tried to be extremely understanding but he was beyond rude and ruined the meal for us. We always stack dishes to assist with clean up and I personally handed him the dishes… he never thanked us or seemed apologetic for any of the Inconveniences. He also forgot one of our appetizers. Overall, probably will not return.

Understanding it was Mother’s Day and they would be busy, but to run out of bread at an Italian restaurant, it’s just not right. We had to wait for waters to be refilled constantly and then as we are finishing they brought us a carafe of water. The emergency door was constantly being used for patrons to exit. Resulting in us getting very cold, since it was pretty cold out that day. Food was good, but I won’t be returning to this location.

We went for mother's day and I guess they were only doing dinner service, however we were not told this and it was nowhere on their website or social media pages. I personally like to view the menus ahead of time and there are alot less options on the dinner menu than the lunch menu. They were also not doing the prix fixe menu either. We opted for the veal Parm which was okay and came with al dente penne pasta; the Italian grinder pizza which was just okay; and braised short ribs over parpadelle. The last was my entree, though I did try the others, and it had no flavor whatsoever and the pasta was obviously precooked and clumped together. The waitress also left us completely alone when it was obvious we weren't going to order drinks which would have bumped up the bill quite a bit. I noticed a drastic difference between how she treated other tables versus our table which I'm sure she deemed the "cheap table". I would not go again, but I think my mom enjoyed herself.

The service was ok-not the best, not the worst. Our server was polite and attentive. The food was subpar for our expectations. 3 dishes came to us luke warm, and a kids pizza - which looked like a pizza you could buy at the grocery store - was last to come out, way after the rest of our meals. The meal was a bit slower paced overall.

The manager made the experience great by providing the option for Chicken Piccata although it wasn’t on the menu. Server disappeared and possibly gave up on my table since I’m a bit indecisive but within reason. I viewed the menu before arriving and had in mind what I wanted. It was over an hour before the server stopped by the table again. Other workers in the restaurant other than my server was attentive and made sure that a solo person had a good dining experience. I loved the variety of wine and options to create a wine flight of three. However, the food was bland.

I sent a Basil martini back as it was so sour it was undrinkable. While our waitress was very professional, the female bartender needs some retraining in speaking quietly or in keeping comments about customers to herself. My friend’s rare steak was barely cooked so difficult to cut.

The risotto valls appetizer is a must try! The Burrata raviolis are scrumptious. The veal parm is so delicious. You can't go wrong with any dessert. Our waited Tom was very good and attentive.

Restaurant was a bit chilly, we got there at 6:45. Our waiter was amazing, perfectly recited four delicious sounding specials and was attentive. Food was delicious and they have an extensive wine list without being over priced. Their recessed lighting had these very bright daylight bulbs and gave the place a weird ambiance. Otherwise than that, we had a great dinner! We’ll be back!

First time here on a busy Saturday night but seated promptly for our 6:30 reservation. Enjoyed the decor while waiting for our drinks. Caprese salad nicely divided on separate plates as we were sharing. Could have used a piece of bread to sop up the yummy balsamic vinaigrette left on our plates, but probably would have gotten too full to enjoy our dinners! Eggplant parm is my very favorite Italian dish, and this one was one of the best I've ever tried. Eggplant nice and thin and crisp, topped with delicious marinara. Forgot to order angel hair pasta but waiter caught our order before it went in, so I got my wish of pasta. Thought I might finish the whole meal it was so good, but had to save room for dessert so took home a doggie bag. Clams and linguine is my husband's favorite dish, and this one was just to his liking...so good he ate the whole thing! Hard to choose from all the yummy desserts, but opted for the warm bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream and chocolate sauce. Hubbie doesn't usually like bread pudding, but he had no trouble dipping into this one...not a trace was left. Very nice first visit...wish we lived closer to return more often, but we're sure to be back the next time we're in the area.

As usual, we had a fantastic meal at Tavolo. The fried calamari and the fig and burrata flat bread were a great start. We had the veal chop special and my son had the steak. A dessert sampler was the perfect end. Everyone was full and happy and we had leftovers to take home. Great family dinner.

Located near TF Green Airport so we were able to meet friends who were visiting and grab a bite once their flight arrived. Our waitress was personable and attentive. Food was served hot and all meals were tasty. I've been pleased with the Smithfield location so decided to give this location a try. It did not disappoint! Also, made use of a Groupon special which was worth the value I paid for it.

Food was ok. Waiter was strange. I had eggplant rollatini. In my opinion, a rollatini should be crunchy and have breadcrumbs. Never seen a rollatini with just literal rolled eggplant around veggie. Bread was ok. Just average for an Italian restaurant. Bartenders were great. Much better than the dining experience.

First time at Tavolo Food was delicious, service excellent and attentive. Noise level for a Saturday evening very pleasant. We could hear each other talk without a problem. Very pleasant evening.
