Service was very good-wait staff was attentive but didn’t harass us, which was much appreciated. Courses were staggered perfectly, which lent itself to a relaxed dining atmosphere. I can see how it would get really busy, but downtown was basically a ghost town at that time, food was really excellent as well. The bartender made an excellent martini, and the wine selection was great as well. We had a very nice Pinot Gris. Fish was fresh and skin was delicious and crispy. The chocolate pie is particularly good. Prices are super reasonable for the quality of food and service. Would definitely return.
Tavolo wasn't bad, I just wouldn't recommend it because it wasn't great. I ordered an arugula salad with salmon which was a little overcooked. Not quite dry, but almost. I'm not a big salami fan but I ordered the salad with it because I thought it sounded good with the ricotta. Unfortunately, The salami on the salad was very disappointing. I pushed all of it off the plate because it didn't have that nice tang that salami should have. I'm sure it wasn't lunch meat but it was so bland it tasted like it was. I also ordered the tomato basil soup which again was okay, but not great. The waitress was super but the food left a lot to be desired.
Food was wonderful and waitress was very attentive. Had a great time.
This was our first time to eat at Tavolo and will definitely go back! The staff accommodated my dietary restrictions and were very courteous. Very nice ambiance!! I highly recommend this restaruant!
Great environment with excellent service! The food was amazing and portions were perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant!
The food was delicious. The pasta “rustico” especially. Austin was a great waiter. Service was impeccable.
The food was amazing - Service top notch! Beautiful and interesting space. I recommend the Baramundi!
We enjoyed dinner before a performance of Hamilton at the PAC. Our server was friendly and attentive but did not hover over us. The food and wine were amazing.
Food is good but took forever. Atmosphere isn’t great- cool space but decor is not very cohesive.
Service was great! Got us in and out before a show. They even have a menu designed specifically for that. Food was fresh and interesting.
Enjoyable early dinner ahead of Hamilton at the PAC. Chef’s tasting menu was excellent!
I like this restaurant because of the quiet ambiance atmosphere to get away from the busy stress of work for lunch or after work. They did accidently charge me for a much more expensive bottle of wine than I ordered on this particular visit, but when brought to their attention, the owner made it right for us on a future visit. I enjoy the atmosphere and the tasty chicken :) I will return to this restaurant because it's one of my favorites. My husband orders the pork chops from the evening menu and they are the best he's ever had - the sous vide method of cooking their meats makes all of their entrees so good! Also, Erica is the best server - love her infused waters that she conjures up! (so special) - ask for her - she's a gem!
Excellence food and the staff was very attentive to our needs. We will definitely be going back.
Great experience. Had a reservation prior to a PAC show. They offer a PAC show menu guaranteed to come out from the kitchen quickly. Service was fantastic. Food was very good.
All of our food choices were excellent as were the cocktails. Great for a special occasion. We ate early so it was quiet. Service was spot on.
Lauren (our awesome server) and Tavolo made our wedding anniversary celebration OUTSTANDING!! We loved our Caprese salads, our wine (Argiano NC Toscana 2016 Red Wine), the salmon Piccata, and chicken marsala. Our desserts were wonderful too with Justin’s chocolate pie and the special bread pudding served per my special request. Tavolo went above and beyond to make our evening special!! Thank you!!!
What a gem! Tu, a very kind, upbeat staff member at the Courtyard highly recommended this restaurant. I was warmly greeted by the male manager (I cannot recall his name) who made a special effort to find a place I could dine alone and make a few calls. He was a great host and made a very good wine recommendation. Then Lauren took over. She is the epitome of what an outstanding customer service ambassador should be. She was engaging, knowledgeable, professional, yet made you feel as if you were a VIP (regular) diner. I could see her "caring" truly comes from the heart. She was outstanding and reading what you needed without you having to say a word. She could easily be a Concierge at a Ritz Carlton like establishment, that is Lauren! The food was delicious and Lauren went above and beyond to make certain my dining experience was memorable. The manager, also made certain I was very well taken care of. The food was fresh, delicious and the chocolate dessert so scrumptious that I ended up eating all of it (which is something I never do -- I usually take 2 -3 bites of a dessert). I will definitely come back to Tavolo whenever I need to return to Tulsa area for work. Thank you Lauren and management for taking such splendid care of me!
Food and service were great, as always!
Food was very good. Lauren provided excellent, friendly and professional service. It was an early appointment so the place wasn’t busy yet so no significant noise.
Tavolo worked with our crazy schedules. Flights were delayed and we even added two more people to the table. Always a great experience.
We were looking forward to our meal at Tavolo, but unfortunately this was not their night to produce a flavorful meal. I ordered the chicken marsala, which was recommended by our waiter. The chicken was tender and the sauce was ok, but you could not taste either because the dish was doused in black pepper. I like seasoning but this was ridiculous. My wife had spaghetti bolognese which was ok at best, rather bland. That said, our waiter was very personable and friendly. Perhaps we hit a bad night but we won't be going back.
It’s a nice place inside of one of Tulsa’s beautiful Art Deco buildings. Everyone was very nice and helpful and the food was very good.
Delicious food and our server was top notch!
We went to Tavolo to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We requested a quiet table and were seated next to a loud party of ten. The service was terrible. It took over thirty minutes for the waitress to serve us water and we had to go up to the bar to get our own drinks. After an hour and a half, our food finally arrived and it wasn’t worth the wait. At least they didn’t charge us for our drinks! I guess they can’t handle a crowd before a concert. Maybe it would be better on a different night.
We always have a great experience at Tavolo: an Italian Bistro. Great food and atmosphere.
It started with a delicious homemade bread however our appetizer was dry as well as my husbands chicken Marsala. My tenderloin and risotto were delicious. The old fashion he had was tasty as well. We were a party of two that was seated next to two tables of six so our intimate dinner was rather noisy.
Food, service and atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommend visiting this beautiful building and restaurant if staying downtown Tulsa.
We always enjoy the food and the service. We especially like the innovative cuisine. Thanks!
The only thing that marred the meal was loud mouthed fraternity bros at the bar talking about how great they are.
My husband and I almost always split meals because portion sizes are typically large. This was no exception. We shared the herbed chicken and added a side of risotto. It was all wonderful!
The noise level was OK. My husband has hearing loss due to law enforcement and military service, so we are pretty sensitive to noise levels. We were seated just below a speaker. Had we not gotten there before the evening rush, there would have been too much background noise for him to have been able to hear well.
I really wanted to like this place, I was given a gift card from my son and couldn’t wait to try it. It started off great, our drinks and salads came quickly. Unfortunately, our main course (Chicken Marsala and Chicken Alfredo) didn’t arrive for at least 45 minutes and it was disappointingly cold. We ordered desert, which also took some time to get there. The cannoli was ok, but the bread pudding was mushy. I realize there was a play at the PAC that evening, but my reservation was at 6:15, we didn’t finish until 9:15. I don’t understand why my meal should be held back because others didn’t plan properly.
The bolognese was absolutely delicious and the tiramisu was fan-freakin-tastic!
Wonderful service and awesome dinner! Highly recommended!
They ran out of the best appetizer. Other than that it was fine, just annoying when it’s a 60$+ meal that they run out of food.
It’s a nice date night place, but the food was just underwhelming. One step up from Olive Garden, but several steps down from Villa Ravenna.
Delicious! Nice wine selection. Good service. But most importantly, incredible food. Reminded me of Italy.
Arkansas was a great bar tender!
Tavolo is a great restaurant for any occasion. It has a NYC feel without all the NYC chaos. We went before a play performance and had a wonderful meal. The food was excellent and the service superb. We'll definitely return.
Food was good, not spectacular, but good. Some portions seemed a little small (gnocchi). Bruschetta was excellent. Bring a coat as the balcony was a little chilly.
It was the perfect place to have a quiet romantic dinner for our anniversary. The service was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious!
