Tavolino - Foxborough Ratings and Reviews
Tavalino is consistently good. The menu has something for everyone whatever your taste buds crave and whether watching your calories or ready for a splurge. Good value and delicious! A staple in our household and our favorite at Patriot Place.
We’ve been to Tavolino a bunch of times because it never disappoints. The kids love that they have a menu of their favorites—and the seats right by the ovens made it dinner theatre for them! They even got some dough to play with!
Our food—as always—was just fantastic. The short rib ravioli is really rich and meaty without being heavy, and the chocolate bombe was just the right amount of sweet without tipping too far into sugar shock. Service was great (as we have always found it to be), and we can’t wait to go back!
We have been patrons of Tavolino's Foxboro for the past few years. Because of Jill and Amy and the excellent service they have provided over the years. We will continue to rate Tavolino as one of our favorite places for dinner! However I refuse to order takeout! The quality of the food is not the same as when you dine in!
The service and quality of did was excellent. The only disappointment was I had put special instructions, this was an anniversary dinner, and they had not even been reviewed. None of my social requests were addressed, this my wife felt I hadn't or any effort into making our 12th anniversary anything more than just dinner out.
We tried to eat there without a reservation we were turned away. Then we made a reservation for another night, a Friday. We were seated promptly, but the waitress was slow to arrive. We ordered drinks which took a long time to receive. We ordered a salad, and 2 half dishes. The waitress asked if we wanted our salad first, which we did want our salad first. She said she'd bring us bread, which never came. Our meals were delivered, no salad, and no bread. then she went to get us our salad. The chicken Parmesan was tolerable. The sauce was not appealing.
The blue cheese pasta & sausage dish was enjoyable, & interesting.
That being said, we doubt that we would return, unless maybe for pizza.
Tavolino Foxborough never disappoints. My family and I frequent here for a last minute dinner or special occasion. A big plus is their gluten free menu. I wish they offered more gluten-free beer but I will keep returning.
I met some friends for dinner on Monday night. We all had the 4 course meal for $26.95 each. It included a soup or salad, appetizer, entree, and a dessert. Reasonable sized portions. Good deal and a great time with friends.
Took my mom out for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. We sat out on the patio as it was a nice day. The patio sits along a main walkway for the stores and restaurants at Patriots place. They play music throughout the mall area and I thought it was a bit loud. The service was friendly but slow. The restaurant was only about 1/3 filled and there seemed to be plenty of staff. We were there for over an hour total, which is a long time for lunch. We ordered calamari for an appetizer. It was good but nothing stood out about it. I ordered a pizza topped with spinach and fried eggplant. The pizza was very good and would suggest going here only for pizza. My mom ordered a steak and cheese. The steak was similar to sliced deli roast beef that was just heated up. The peppers, onions and melted cheese were good but with gross meat, it didn't help. We only had a few bites and my mom helped with my pizza. A small pizza, small sandwich, okay sized appitizer and 1 iced tea was $48. So with the slow service and only some of the food being tasty, this is way overpriced.
Overall I was not impressed. Pizza was burnt and didn't taste good. Not worth sending the pizza back, I never have good luck with re-orders. Wait staff were pleasant, but took silverware when clearing appetizer and did not return with replacement silverware. Just no attention to details. Pizza should not have been served. I would have would have been ok with a longer wait for a properly cooked pizza.
The food was very good. The restaurant was very noisy, you had to yell at each other in order to hear one another. The waiter was not attentive at all. We had to wait at least 10 - 15 minutes after sitting down to get a menu and then got the luncheon pre fix menu instead of the dinner one. We then waited another 10-15 minutes for him to come back and take our order. We were never able to get his attention because he didn't walk by us or come over to check how we were enjoying our meal. It took him 10 minutes or more to refresh my water after asking. He also gave us the wrong dessert.
Great menu with something to please everyone. I haven't had a meal here I didn't like. The piccata was delicious and their pizzas and salad are always good. My daughter had the bolognese and said that was delicious. A bit noisy but bearable. Definitely make a reservation!
Just like Tavolino in Westboro, the service was awful. Ok, awful is pretty strong in this case so I would go with our server "ghosted" us after we placed our order. We got the salad immediately and then it took 45 minutes for the pizza to arrive. When the expediters arrived with the food we asked for plates and you would have thought I'd asked them for nuclear fissionable devices. Plates. You know, the things that food goes on? I mean what is up with no plates at restaurants lately? But I digress. Food was as ordered and fine but nothing special. Pepper mill was out of pepper as our server stood there and said "let me know when" I was like, um, I guess when you have some pepper you should come back... Yeah, maybe that's why she left for 45 minutes because there was no pepper. Whatever. Clearly people expect this level of service so this is what restaurants provide. All set with eating out at this point. Ever.
We eat here quite frequently and always enjoy their pizza and cocktails. I will say I was very disappointed with the vegetable platter appetizer! I had it twice a few weeks ago at their sister restaurant in Mashpee and it was unbelievably delicious. The waitress said it was going to be removed from the menu... If they made it the way Siena did with a true white bean dip instead some awful soupy dressing and much better prepared vegetables it would be much better.
Our waitress and the pizza made it overall an enjoyable evening.
