Tavolino - Foxborough
We ate outdoors which was lovely, our waitress MaryAnn was AWESOME. Attentive without being annoying and food was outstanding as usual. One of my favorite restaurants. Consistently great.
I have been to Tavolino a number of times. I keep waiting for the menu to change up. There really is not a big selection. The food is good, but you need a little bit more of a selection.
Love this place! The only issue I have it the acoustics. If it’s intimate dining you want, I would not choose Tavolino’s. However, if you want great food and excellent service for a great price, this is the place!
Seated outdoors very nice
Pizzas are great. Hadn't been here in a few years but it was just as good as I remember. Love the Mediterranean vegetable.
The hummus plate was ok
The hummus delicious but would prefer sliced veggies like carrots celery cucumbers to dip not the weird pickled vegetables
Excellent pizza - meat lovers and tomato, mozzarella and basil were excellent. Also love the wine selection and always look forward to the warm bread and olive oil!
We had a wonderful experience.
We had a delicious side salad before our pizza came out. The portions are great. The service was spot on. We will definitely go back.
The food was fabulous as it always is. The service was excellent. Usually we go about an hour earlier and the noise level is not as loud but we will return for another great night of food and catching up with friends.
Experience overall was good. Service could have been better-no drink refills, no steak knife for the person who ordered steak tips and server nowhere to be found to ask for the knife until everyone else was nearly finished with their meals.
Fig and prosciutto pizza was great! Steak tips over arugula had no flavor. Disappointing for $27 for the salad.
Great night. Food came out extremely quick
Location very easy to find and park close by. Seated promptly.
Food was very good. Waitress excellent. Great place for lunch.
Great place with great food. I highly recommend over other restaurants at Patriot Place.
Since it is under renovation, its ambience wasn’t as nice as it usually is. My pizza was fantastic, but my mom was greatly displeased with her dish (though they kindly took it off the bill). I love this restaurant in general, and although this was not the best dining experience, I definitely will come back since I know this was more of a one-off
Great server, pizza’s & drinks.
Our meal at Tavolino was wonderful. We have several different types of pizzas, including one that was gluten free - and they were all exceptional. Our server was friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a great experience!
The restaurant food is excellent, staff is friendly, and the noise level is energetic.
Took my husband here for his birthday. The food wasnt worth the value. One piece of my chicken parm was like rubber and so wasnt our calamari appetizer. My linguine tasted liked it was microwave, we were very disappointed. The service was okay, had to remind the server for our second around of drinks. Overall not worth over $100 dollars. We wont be back.
Our meals were great!! Our waitress was so nice. We had a great time.
Our waitress was great. We needed a quick turnaround to make our movie and she was attentive and efficient. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. The dipping oil for their bread is great!
The food was adequate and the service slow and inattentive.
Dara was an excellent and accommodating server. Management attention to detail was superb!
Had a great meal and a great server, Noah. He was patient and always available. No wait for service at the table for drinks or food and gave us ample time to review menu. I hate when your rushed and waiters don't acknowledge your their to relax. Noah was excellent. food was good cocktails were fun. Had a pistachio martini for dessert that was very refreshing. enjoyed the mail, the service, and the ambiance.
Great dining experience. Waiter was extremely knowledgeable and helpful on the food and recommendation. Casual fun night out. Food and wine was well worth the trip. No wait. We had the mussels appetizer, a pizza and the short rib ravioli. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing.
Highly recommend for a great evening out.
I had called ahead to ensure that the rest of the party could be seated without me as I was late leaving work and we had a timed commitment later that evening and needed to leave by 7:30pm. I made sure the restaurant was aware and everyone else arrived before 5:15 and was seated. They were willing to cut and serve the cake I brought BUT, food wasn’t served until after 7pm because our waitress was so slow. She was covering tables outside also and spent most of her time outside. Half the table had no napkins or silverware and we finally got up and took them from another table or we’d have waited all night. Needless to say, we never had the Birthday cake and it melted in the car because we had no time.
Pizzas are amazing but our waitress was terrible.
Overall it was enjoyable lunch with good food and great service
A great restaurant at Patriot s Place. The food was very good outside atmosphere was just ok. I will return
Very expensive. Very noisy inside and music was way too loud outside. Service was slow, may be a good reason....not shared with us. Took so long to take the order, I forgot to order the appetizers we had discussed.
Server asked how we'd like Salmon cooked and also she slightly spilled a beverage while pouring and it was never cleaned up. Also, a separate oil topping for GF bread was not available, that's not good if regular bread has already used.
Food was very good.
ate outside great half portions great idea food delicious bread was best at any Italian rst.
Excellent service and outdoor seating was great on a warm night!
Let me preface this by stating that it was not Tavolino's fault that there was a power surge on a busy day and therefore had limited ability to serve, but the way they dealt with the situation was questionable at best. We had reservations and were told upon arrival of the problem. They claimed that their computers in the kitchen were down, therefore, had no way to place orders. Questionable for sure, but we were told we would be texted when they were taking guests again. They proceeded about a half hour later to lock their doors. When pressed, they said they would take in guests for "pizza or salad only, no proteins." Hmmmm ok, given the lack of alternatives, we agreed. With limited power, there was no AC and it was extremely hot. Took at least 20 minutes for our order to be taken. Tables around us who had arrived later, received their food and finished before we received anything. Eventually, 3 of our 4 pizzas arrived, cold. The server admitted she did not see them and apparently the 4th pizza was never made. Last pizza arrived over an hour and half after seating and we had to immediately ask for boxes since there was no time to eat. Boxes did not arrive, so we had to ask another server. We overheard at an adjacent table, that they could not process credit cards. You would have to write down your number, name, expiration date and code as well as you phone number, in case there was a problem. This is not an acceptable way to do business!! If this is the case, customers need to be informed beforehand! And no one should be divulging that amount of info and trusting nothing will go wrong! There was never a manager in sight to at least make a round to the tables, explain the situation, etc. Honestly, they NEVER should have stayed open. Pure greed on their part, not to mention that by locking their doors, only one door was usable to exit from. A CLEAR fire hazard. I will NEVER go to this establishment, or it's other restaurants again, and would advise the same to others.
Understanding that Tavolino was having power issues this evening, we chose to sit when the hostess told us they could serve us pizza and salad. Our waitress was extremely rude and told us she couldn’t do that and that the restaurant should have closed. She managed to take our order, but we never got our pizza after sitting for almost two hours. Again, we knew they were having electricity issues, but we saw more than 20 pizzas come out around us and we couldn’t get ours. Our waitress continued to be rude and wouldn’t even check to see what had happened to ours. We paid for our salad and walked out. If you can’t honor what you promised to make, don’t make the promise. It was a simple pizza- there was no excuse for rudeness. Huge fail and we will never return.
Sat outside, beautiful set up with umbrellas. Ordered a bottle of wine apps and main dishes, everything came out awesome. Just wish we left room for dessert.
Poor service and quality. We had excellent experiences here before and our last two times were a disappointment. Last time we we were here we had a great server but they made a mistake in the kitchen and included almonds in my salad despite a stated allergy. The GM handled this well so we decided to come back again. This morning was a disaster. Waited an hour for waffles for a hungry child. Had been told several excuses about the waffle maker. The waitress stated she was “new.” Charged us for an adult pancake order for another one of our children. My husband asked for eggs sunny side up. Had was served dried up eggs twice. After a terrible meal that took over an hour (with hardly any customers) they offered us nothing. Hostess staff was preoccupied and unfriendly. Sadly, I think this is our last time coming up this location. Side note we had on previous occasions noted to our waitstaff that they were some of the best we have encountered. I would suggest making some changes soon!!!
Very sorry to hear of this. While in our defense we are slightly confused with this review. As we went to turn on our waffle maker it shorted out and died. We sent our employee to the store as quickly as possible to get a new one. We explained this to your family twice and were told it was not a problem and instead of ordering a new item you would like to wait for as long as it took. Would love to chat and rectify this for you. You could ask for Greg at 1-508-543-6543 Thanks!
I've tried almost all the restaurants in Patriot Place and Tavolino is still my favorite by a large margin. Made reservations, we were sat immediately, food was delicious, service was great.
