Tavolena, opened in October 2023, is a tribute to his grandmother, Lena Bello. The restaurants name combines tavolo (Italian for table) with Lena, honoring the kitchen table where Michael’s love for cooking was born. This homage is literal-Lena’s original table serves as the focal point of TAVOLENA’S private dining room, surrounded by family photographs that span decades, inviting guests into the Rolchigo family story.
