   Great service and all around experience. When our food was accidently tossed instead of being boxed up, the server had a new dish made for us and boxed up. Extremely apologetic and so nice to make a new meal.

   I absolutely enjoyed my time at Tavola. This was my first time, eating here, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to be on a Friday night! My waiter was very courteous, kind, respectful, and most importantly knowledgeable about the foods and the drinks. The food was divine, I have never had such a great ravioli dish in my life until I ate here. Kudos to everyone for making my experience such a great and enjoyable one! I would definitely be coming here as I have added Tavola to my list of favorite places to eat in Minneapolis!

   We enjoyed our lunch immensely! Service (thanks, Jonathan) was impeccable. Perfect choices and delish!! Love that there is valet and a parking lot accross the street, so it's convenient.

    Went on New Year’s Eve and beat the rush, we left a little after 7pm and that’s when it started to get more busy. It was great, good service, good food, I recommend if you are looking for fancier dining.

    We had reservations but due to the Vikings game they seated the dining room full and left us to sit in the bar area. It was loud with post game people. The chicken piccata was not very good, it was breaded but the breading was slimy and fell off, not very lemony/flavorful, very few capers. We waited almost 1/2 hour before they told us they were out of the ravioli we ordered. Just overall not the best experience.

    Although a little pricey, a decent option for pre-Vikings game breakfast. Nice bright space. Food solid. We will definitely consider it for the future.

    It's a great space, inside the beautiful Elliot Hotel. Outside of nearby events it's slow, which creates an intimate environment. So if you're looking for a more vibrant environment, go when there's an event nearby. The food is good, service was great and overall a nice option in downtown East.

    Potatoes were undercooked. Broccolini was too salty with some odd tomato sauce. Would have expected more based on the prices charged for each dish.

    This is marketed as an upscale Italian restaurant but it’s actually a hotel like cafe with bright lighting, refrigerators you can see and a buffet like counter. Server was super nice but if you’re looking for a high end Italian experience this isn’t it.

    What a find! Tucked away in a small hotel is a place with fabulous food and really nice people. The wine selection was very good. I had a pasta with a delicious corn-based sauce. My husband had sausage ravioli that he said was one of the best Italian dishes he's ever had. Highly recommended.

    My wife, her cousin and I had a very nice lunch in mid-July at Tavola. They don't havw a lot of menu items, but all of ours were great! My wife enjoyed a grilled chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich was really tasty but the fries were outstanding. We asked what was on them and Jason, the bartender and our server said "salt and pepper - overseasoned." They were perfectly fried. I had a Caesar salad with whole anchovies and a perfectly cooked salmon filet, and my wife's cousin also had a filet on her mixed greens salad. I also had an espresso which was served in a wonderful little demitasse cup. I hadn't seen such a cup since we were last in Europe.

    We were there on a Tuesday night, so didn't expect a big crowd, but they did have a solid number of diners. Service was prompt, server was knowledgeable about the menu and the food was delivered with enough time to relax and converse. We were at the restaurant a couple of years ago and the service was horrendous - great improvement - we will go back again.
