My partner and I visited for our anniversary and greatly enjoyed the experience. We parked valet for only $8 and loved the option of being able to request the car through a provided link. It even allows you to pay using Apple Pay. The restaurant had a chic ambience with warm lighting. The enclosed patio area was beautiful and floral. Once we were seated, we were celebrated with complimentary glasses of Prosecco. We started dinner with the octopus, it was amazing. For entrees, we order the Gyro plate, the beef tenderloin Souvlakia, and a side of feta cheese. For cocktails we had a Sidecar and the Aphrodite. Dinner was absolutely phenomenal! We highly recommend the Gyro which was like a slow braised lamb rather than the beef/lamb mix that’s shaved off of the spit. We had the Portokalopita for dessert and LOVED it! Our server Todd made the experience memorable by being attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our anniversary here! We will definitely be back.

I brought my man for his birthday at around 9:30. We just wanted to do drinks and stay for the sparklers, but I wish we would have done dinner there. This place far exceeded my expectations. The ambiance, drinks and service were absolutely exceptional. Our server could not have been any better. He made sure we enjoyed our time and was extremely attentive. We will be returning.

It was our first time at the tavern. And we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, especially a grilled octopus and grilled meatballs. We also had moussaka, it was a very generous portion. As a dessert we had walnut-banana cake. It was amazing, full of nut flavor and very creamy. I tried their Mykonian Mezz, very interesting mix of pineapple l, cardamom and turf mezcal. I’m not a big fun of heavy alcohol but that drink was definitely worth trying. The service was very attentive and kind. Will come again.

Outstanding, delicious, ultimate dining experience! Violi offers an exceptional experience. The food, the service, the ambience, are any diners dream. From the moment you walk in till the moment you walk out, you feel special. This time I had filet mignon, which was divine, and my server, Mike, was fantastic. I am a regular at Violi, and will continue to dine there for as long as I can.

The food is upscale Greek. We all loved the rockshrimp and feta. The bronzino fish was excellent. Our service was great and the surprise birthday cake was the icing on a wonderful visit. Will definitely go again and again!

Updated Greek cuisine, great service, lively atmosphere. City vibe in the western suburbs. Their updated and deconstructed take on Greek staples will not necessarily remined you of the original dishes, but are excellent in their own right. Third visit and Violi is hitting its stride.

The food was tasty but very small portions for the $$. Also, since it was dinner time it was sad to have to PAY for pita bread with your salad. The crowds around the bar were oblivious to how they were blocking the entrance to the bathroom. Parking was a mess - the lot was crowded and the valet was delayed. That’s stressful when the restaurant wants your there ON TIME. We would have been better off at Gibson’s, where we would not have left hungry.

The pasta with short rib was outstanding m thee spinach pie was only ok, as were the brussel sprouts m but the vibe and certain standout dishes and drinks will definitely have me back!

Food was ok but not as good as expected. When we made the reservation is said the main dining area was full, so we took a high top. However the main dining area was empty for most of the time we were there. High top tables are too close together. Mistake made on our appetizer. Doubt we’ll return.

Might be my new favorite place. Espresso martini was excellent, wine selection was very good and I am pretty picky. We had appetizers mostly- shrimp, spanokopitiki (I probably murdered this spelling), and meatballs. All excellent and so much better than expected. For dessert we had the orange cake and baklava- so delicious. The ice cream with the baklava is out of this world.

Food not as great as we expected. Octopus, which so many raves about, was just so-so compared to others we’d had. Branzino was big enough to share—but rather bland. Best was charred cauliflower. Used the sauce with the cauliflower on the fish and it did improve the taste!

AMAZING experience from start to finish. The hostess Sofija was incredibly kind and sat us at the perfect table. Very cool ambiance and all the food we had was delicious. We were taken care of by Kat, who gave us flawless service throughout the entire meal. Even another member of the waitstaff, Jacob, brought me one of the best coffees (Fredo) I have ever had. Food and drinks were on point, but I’d go back anytime just knowing how well they treated us!

Everything was amazing! The food was incredible, the service was outstanding. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because it was VERY loud and even though we had a reservation, we had to wait almost 40 minutes before getting seated. However the host, managers and staff were all very kind and took care of us great. Definitely would recommend coming here
